Enterprise Rent-A-Car - 15 passenger rental van. - Car Rental Near Me - Pembroke Pines, Florida

Jay at enterprise saved my life!!! I went to multiple different hertz locations to pick up my 7 passenger vehicle I booked and paid a deposit on. None of the locations had it, nor did they help me try and find a location that would. They basically said check the airport and good luck but couldn't call or guarantee I'd even get a vehicle there. I'm moving cross country and absolutely needed a large vehicle. After being treated so poorly, I got a refund and headed straight to the closest Enterprise location. I walked in and was greeted by two very kind, welcoming women. One of which was Jay and she was instantly empathetic and assured me she would help me find the vehicle I needed. She called customers to find out their drop off times and quickly found me a van. It was cleaned thoroughly and I received it right when she said I would. Despite being a bit short staffed, she remained calm and handled everything beautifully. She is a phenomenal worker and human being. 10/10!!! I only ever wanna work with enterprise from here on out. read more

There is a reason why this location has 2 stars, it is by far the worst. I had a reservation for a car and they gave me a dirty car with no gas. The sales rep I was working with was either on her last day, or was there for a long, long time. I say this because she didn't care a bit. The car I got had dents, scratches, and hits all over it. It was allegedly the only car they had. Who gives a car with no gas? If it's not store policy, it should be human decency. Now, I have to fill the car up and you guys get to keep the extra gas? Worst place to go to rent a car unless you want the management to be disrespectful to you and call the police on you.

By far one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any customer service. From the start her attitude was poor and asked my place of employment? I asked if that's a standard question and she mumbled a response I didn't quite get. Her attitude only got worse after she showed the car options by standing on the sidewalk and pointing to them in the lot. Then upon reentry into the store, she immediately began assisting someone else. When questioned she told us to have a seat and that the other agent could assist us. It went further downhill from there. She says she's the manager and her name is Shanese or Shaunese Brown, a heavier young woman wearing a very sloppy dress that you'd wear to clean your house. Her attitude and personality were deplorable as was how she presented herself. I've been a longtime customer and have spent a lot of money at Enterprise and National over the years and neither I nor anyone in my firm will use this company again. Do better, Enterprise. I'd think after seeing these awful reviews you'd train your staff to have some semblance of understanding "customer service." read more

I reserved a vehicle from this location earlier this week. I came into this store today to pay and rent the car. I provided my driver's license, insurance card, and American Express card. I walked around the vehicle with the sales associate. I electronically signed and initialed for the car. I paid for the vehicle with my card. She gave me the keys. I drove off. Not 5 minutes later, I received two phone calls that went to my voicemail. The calls were from the store saying there was a problem with my payment. I immediately turned the car around and called the store from my cell phone to tell them I was coming back. As I drove back to the store, I called American Express because I feared they had denied the charge so just in case that was it, when I reached the store, I would ask them to re-run the card. When I got to the store, the manager said the payment did not go through. By this time I had the American Express agent on the phone telling me that the payment to Enterprise Rent-A-Car did go through and she told me the exact amount of $856.54 of the charge (see the attached picture). I had the American Express agent on the phone and showed the manager the charge on my American Express card and he continued to say he never received payment. I gave him back the keys to the rental and repeatedly asked him to refresh his system or call for assistance because clearly there was something wrong. He repeatedly told me there was no one to call for help because nothing was wrong with his system. He actually said there was probably something wrong with the American Expresses system. REALLY?! He then printed out a Payment History page with NOTHING ON IT. Not A SINGLE TRANSACTION. The only thing that was printed on this page was the top portion that showed the Enterprise name, the words "payment history" my name and the ticket number with NOTHING ELSE ON THE PAGE. I asked him "What is this?" and he said "This is what my computer shows". He did not give me a receipt a void and cancelation or anything. He gave me a customer service phone number and told me I could call them. I told him that I paid almost $900 to rent a car and asked him "How was I going to get my money back?" He said I could call customer service. He did not try to help. He did not try to resolve the issue. I was out almost $1,000, NO CAR RENTAL, received no help, or assistance, and was just told to call customer service. He then wrote "DO NOT RENT" on the bottom of the paper and he said He was barring me from ever renting from Enterprise Rent A-Car again and asked me to leave the premises. To which I replied "gladly" then he called me a Physco! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AND I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER ENTERPRISE TO RENT A CAR AGAIN. I attached the piece of paper he gave me. All of the writing on this paper, I asked him to write that the contract was canceled and voided because the American Express agent on the phone heard the entire discussion with Zachary and even she said "MS. VENTRANO SINCE THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HELP YOU, I WILL HELP YOU. IN A COUPLE OF DAYS WHEN THE TRANSACTION POSTS, YOU CAN DISPUTE THE CHARGE." I THANKED HER, WHILE CRYING PROFUSELY, AND ASKED HER TO NOTE WHAT HAPPENED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR FROM AN ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR IF THIS IS HOW YOU HANDLE ISSUES. I DON'T KNOW IF HE WAS RACIST OR JUST PLAIN INCOMPETENT and CLUELESS, BUT IF THIS IS WHO THEY HIRE AND HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS, THEY ARE IN SAD SAD SHAPE. The employees I worked with were so professional, accommodating and pleasant. The location I went to was on Pines and Douglas in Pembroke Pines. I was first greeted by Zack who worked quickly and efficiently to get a good loaner car for me while my car was being repaired. Daniella brought me to my car and went through everything so detailed. I got a rental car through my car insurance due to a car accident. My insurance only covered a 4 door Sedan, but I'm used to having a mini SUV. I have car seats and currently pregnant. This location only had a mini van available right away which I would gladly would drive but having to pay for it just seemed silly if I can get something for free. THIs Enterprise really cut me some deals to make my mom life easier, I so appreciate not having to go to another location further away since this one is 3 minutes from my house and having to trade out cars throughout my rental time. My experiences with this specific location is either a hot or miss, but this last one takes the cake! First they didn't have my car that I rented (which per usual with them..you can literally rent a car a week out and there's no guarantee you'll get it)..nevertheless that was fine I just want to another location and got through. However, I decided to return it to this location since it's the closest to my home so I can get dropped off when I was told that i live too far after telling her I lived near Miramar High. This had me confused because the last time I dropped a car off I was given a ride without hesitation. When I asked if she was sure she said yes and that they have a 3 mile limitation and my place was 3.9 miles After going to another location not too far from this one they told me that the location I was coming from is the closest to my apt. Annoyed and frustrated, I went back to the location in which I told the representative that I was dropped off before so why the change? Then she says due to COViD (mind you I was dropped off during the covid period)...then she changes up and changes the mile limit to 2 miles. I told her "I thought you said 3 miles" in which she said "well 2-3miles" Usually I would have just taken an Uber without all of the headache but something had happened to my phone so I had no way of doing that....So I had to walk a few blocks to catch 2 buses when it would have been an easy straight shot. They never have enough cars and they always have a problem picking you up and dropping you off. and I had the same problem with giving them my credit card information, it supposed to be shredded it wasn't. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at an enterprise. Not only was I given a car with no gas, dirty with pet hair all over it. But when I came in the return the car I was accused of bringing a dog into the car, and returning it in bad condition... when in facts I cleaned the car myself because it was so dirty when I got it. I took pictures of the the car gas tank at empty the moment I got into the car, with proof that there were ripped carpets on the interior. I couldn't believe what I was given. What a SH*THOLE bunch of staff members. Wanted to use the ONLY car rental company I've used for the last 5 years and that went to flames really quick. Employees KHALID CARR and RAMADAN AHMETI SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT BACK AND BEAT WITH A BROOM. Sad sad sad to see people who are working for a major corporation with such low standards. Walked in a hour ahead of time because I knew that holiday rentals gets crazy. I only wanted to see the vehicle and make sure it would be efficient enough for our trip. The two staff members completely ignored me and were rude to other customers as well. I overheard one enterprise customer yelling at the manager because they gave him the wrong car and it ate up too much gas and the manager das there is nothing we can do it's not our fault you took the truck. I was already thinking while listening, can't wait for my turn! After waiting for 30 minutes I was finally asked what I was waiting for no hello nothing! No happy holidays! Just plain rudeness. We got into a verbal altercation about insurances the manager was rude and basically told me to leave. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. I believe enterprise is great company to rent a vehicle from. I've never had a problem with them until I came to this particular location. I had reservation to pick up a vehicle at 9am. When I arrived there wear no vehicles available. I had to wait 30mins for them to get me one. When the vehicle was ready I noticed the inside was filthy. Stains on seats, something sticky on the inside of the door handles and the vehicle had a funny smell. I asked for an exchange, they offered me a smaller vehicle then when what I reserved. I declined it because I needed a bigger vehicle. I then asked if they had anything else available. The gentleman that helped me stated, they have a vehicle but it's larger from what I reserved and that they couldn't allow me to take it because I didn't take out insurance. So I asked if that was a policy and the gentleman said No, it's just a business decision. He said he would have to call other locations to get me a better vehicle, but unfortunately I was already pressed for time and couldn't wait. He then went and got the manager to come out and view the vehicle. The manager said he didn't see anything wrong with the inside of the car and if I was unhappy, that he could cancel it out for me. So I sad no that's not what I'm looking to do. So I had no choice but to take the vehicle. I called up customer service and they advised me to take it to the airport. I then took the vehicle myself to exchange at the airport. They gave me a new and CLEAN larger vehicle at no extra charge and without taking out their insurance. Now again like I stated earlier, enterprise is a great company to rent from, but the service I got at this location left me VERY upset. This was the worst experience of my life. I waited and hour at the collision body shop for them to pick me up. I came to the office and after waiting another 45 minutes and listened to the rudest manager I've ever heard,they kept asking my reservation number over and over or asking when the reservation was made. Once I got up to the counter they said it'll be 45 minute wait for a car. When you sit in hold, you listen to a recording of how much they care and are willing to go the extra mile. Nicole would NOT work with us. my husband had NUMEROUS issues with his vehicle purchased at Autonation - mind you it's the SECOND lemon from this dealer. The dealer should be covering all rental fees. They asked my husband if he had insurance and wanted to use insurance on the vehicle he answered yes, assuming they were referring to his own insurance. They had him sign for the paperwork with a total fee showing, he assumed this was the fee the DEALERSHIP was paying, not us. We had over 600$ in charges from enterprise and toll fees (mind you we have SUNPASS!!!!!) and they pretty much told us go ahead and dispute the charges. So we did. I would NEVER go here. My car was being serviced a few blocks away at Jacob's garage. They had to keep it for an extra day so they got me a rental for a day. Picked up the car, no issues at all. The problem started that when I went to return it there was a Monsoon basically falling in the parking lot. I got out of the car in a hurry and left my Sunpass Transponder behind. i remembered when i got home so I called them. Spoke to the manager "Troy" and he assured me that he would find out where it was located and get it back to me. I had to call them back every day for three days because he never had the courtesy of a return call. I ended up cancelling the Sunpass and purchasing a new one. If you cant do anything for me at least dont leave me hanging for three days and not return a call as you said you would. I'm pretty sure you realize that there are three other Enterprises in less than a two mile radius. Oh well, live and learn.. Will not be returning. read more

My last two experiences with enterprise have been the absolute worst. I would pay more on my rental not to ever deal with them again. I waited hours to get my car with a reservation! When it was finally provided to me, the car was filthy and there was a mechanical issue. In my haste to reach my destination, I had to leave the facility, but I called and waited on hold with customer service (since the facility doesn't take calls after 6 pm even though I didn't receive a car until 630) my entire 45 minute commute without a resolution. After taking my midterm in Boca Raton, I called customer service once again, and was connected to emergency road side assistance. They advised I should exchange my car at the Fort Lauderdale airport as there were plenty of cars available. This is when things really went downhill. Upon my arrival at the airport, I spoke with a manager, Ian, who advised 'I was lied to' by road side assistance and they didn't have cars available, but I was looking at a lot full of cars! As a matter of fact, I was able to book a car at this location online! As I once again called customer service for a resolution, I waited on hold for 20 minutes before my phone died. I witnessed another unpleased customer change her car without a problem and questioned another manager, Tara, how her situation was any different. Tara advised that customer had an area manager call in for the change. So that's what it takes? Tara said she would assist me shortly. So as I patiently waited, I witnessed another couple change their car due to a car accident. So after about two hours of sitting quietly, waiting, listening to the company and personal gossip and being ignored, the office was finally clear and I asked Tara if she was now able to assist me. She replied, "Ian said he already took care of you." Then why was I sitting here for two hours? Ian left an hour prior to go celebrate his girlfriend's birthday, but not before I witnessed the two of them whispering about me. Tara said she assumed I was waiting for road side assistance...? They're the ones who sent me here! As a manager, why assume and not ask me why I'm still sitting there, often times standing in front of her, waiting for some service, watching her offer others water? I began to ball out crying because this was a blatant act of disrespect; she even tried to kick me out for getting so emotional. Tara said Ian already test drove the car, etc. which was an absolute lie! She walked out the office to make a call on her cell phone, so I sat down in disbelief refusing to leave. There's no way I was going to put my children in that car for 10+ hours road trip with a mechanical issue. Tara finally test drove the car and asked me to join her. As she drove, Tara slammed on the brakes almost causing me to hit my head stating there's nothing wrong with the car. At this point, I was getting numb... I'm completely shocked as to how Enterprise has treated me for the duration of 5 hours, especially since my father worked for the company for over 12 years. Finally after hours of torture, Tara switched out my car. Upon returning my car to the Pembroke pines location days later, I found that Tara charged me 11 gallons of gas! After all she put me through, she charged me for 11 gallons when the tank only holds 10! The total was around $45 when I filled up the tank for no more than $23 at most (it was a Hyundai Accent). What a slap in the face. I kept my mouth shut about the entire ordeal until that point and explained everything to the manager. She assured me she would handle the situation with upper mgmt and removed the gas charges as a courtesy. I would never want to go through this again, nor would I wish this on anyone. My prior experience with enterprise dragged out over 3 months because of a refund I was owed. Needless to say, I had to call corporate to get that resolved. Now that I think about it, Ian was the manager then! As I initially stated, I'd pay more not to ever deal with this establishment again. read more

The most extremely poor, rude, unprofessional and disrespectful service at this location. The Assistant Branch Manager Matthew Skinner has to be most arrogant, obnoxious and unprofessional person I have ever met in a customer service business. After waiting patiently for almost one hour, with no other customers present, I complained to him about the long wait while I was waiting even longer for them to bring the car around. Because I complained and questioned the long wait, Matthew Skinner decided that he no longer wanted to provide me with a car, he abruptly ripped up the rental contract I signed and canceled the car to my complete and utter shock. He refused to provide me with the name and phone number of his manager, so I called the 800 number while I was there and made a formal complaint over the phone. My employer has five offices in Florida and regularly uses Enterprise for the staff. I intend to notify my employer about the poor customer service I received today and hope that they will no longer conduct business with any Enterprise in Florida.
