Stole $250 from me. Gave me a rental "free of charge" after i bought a car from them next door. Rental was for all the repairs they needed to do before sale. Now they screen my calls and hang up on me. Manager Brittany must be incompetent as she kept me on the phone to do the refund over a week ago. Corporate has been notified and still no refund. They got the car ready quickly, but I ultimately left without a rental after I refused the rental insurance THREE TIMES and they just kept pushing it. I told the employee several times I had my own insurance and didn't want to pay $24 extra per day for theirs, but he just kept listing everything that "could" happen and kept saying "at least get it for the first few days while you are getting used to the car." Then he told me after the first few days I could drive it down to my nearest Enterprise and ask them to cancel the insurance. I last rented from them a year ago. Car rented wasn't available. Was given a car the smelled like marijuana and had multiple issues. Tried again today. Car not available again, told by employee they "didn't even know" what "premium car" means. This has to be by far THE BEST experience I've had with a rental, especially given the conditions I had. I had been rear ended in my brand new Tesla I had taken delivery of less than 3 days prior and was in a bind for a vehicle. My reservation was made last minute due to the circumstances of my accident and I was turned away at 2 different locations telling me to come back in a week for a vehicle. I scrambled around and stumbled upon this location in hopes of any open availability. My wife and I walked in and were immediately greeted with professionalism. This lovely lady at the front desk, RAYNE, went out of her way to find me a vehicle that I could get immediately until I could be better accommodated. I was given a new pickup truck, and although it was a little much for my wife and I to drive, it did the job until she was able to locate a luxury hybrid for me that was more efficient on gas. The Tesla collision shop had a couple of supply issues causing me to have to hang onto the rental a lot longer than anticipated. I ended up finding myself driving this rental for months; I had it so long that it eventually needed routine maintenance and an oil change! I had reached out to her and her team ahead of time and we set a date to have the vehicle swapped out for a similarly tiered vehicle. When I came in for the swap, she was a little tied up but her associate FAITH was more than delighted to help me out of my old rental and into a luxury SUV. This was such a grand experience despite the unfortunate vehicular woes I dealt with on my end. I have been a National Rental guy for decades going back to my corporate days l, but after my recent accident, Enterprise was the choice that I was given with my insurance company. I am very happy to report that Enterprise was a great choice because my experience was excellent from the first call to drop-off and follow up. So after the t-bone accident in Pensacola I was transported, via ambulance, to the hospital and while there I contacted my insurance company (State Farm) who helped arrange my rental. The Q street location was the closest to my location and they made the allocation that simply required my phone call to the location to confirm the reservation. The person on the phone was very helpful, personable, and made the process quick and easy so that when we arrived there was a little paperwork to do and we were on our way. That really meant a lot because we were both banged up pretty bad and shaken up. The folks on the phone, at the desk and outside with the car were very helpful and professional and were able to accommodate smoothly and without delay or hiccups. We got a clean, comfortable Nissan Altima and the rest of the process was automatic as renewals were authorized for up to a month, no hassle. Once we settled up with our insurance company I called Nick, the manager at Enterprise, and explained that we'd be picking up our new car in Fort Walton Beach (45 miles from Pensacola) and he'd arrange for me to drop off my rental there at no extra charge. That was great but unfortunately we made our pickup on a Saturday after 12pm when most of the Enterprise locations were closed. So we drove the Altima back to the Pensacola airport where we met a very nice gentleman who was a former asst manager at Q street. Long story short he was very friendly and accommodating and assured us that we could leave it with him, again at no charge, and we were quickly on our way, very cool. The only hitch was a charge on my card that was added after the fact but I called Nick to check it out and he was very apologetic for a glitch in the system.I received a refund today and once again, easy peasy. I can't thank Nick enough going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we had a seamless and pain-free rental experience, which was so appreciated after the harrowing accident. Everyone we encountered at all the locations were great to deal with and when I have a need for a rental care in the future I can easily say, I'm an Enterprise guy now. 5 star service, highly recommend!! read more

I have very mixed feelings about Enterprise these days. Customer service is no where near what it used to be! I rented from the Pensacola location and even though I booked it online, it took a total of 2 hours to pick it up. It was 30 minutes of standing around before I was even acknowledged by an employee then took another hour of waiting to get the ball rolling on actually getting the car. Only thing they had to say was they were short handed. Next rental was from Gulf Breeze and when I arrived to pick up, I was told they didn't have a car for me! No phone call to warn me of this or anything! How do you sell out and not tell the customers who have already reserved their rental. 35 minutes later, while I was sitting there stranded trying to figure out what to do, the guy magically found me a rental. TERRIBLE! I've never had such a shxt time trying to rent a car! They are crooks and will try to charge you extra if you're uneducated on how their month-month pricing works versus renting weekly! They are super rude and inconsiderate money-hungry people during hard times especially right after a hurricane. Never again....I placed a reservation online for a truck rental on yesterday. Received confirmation that it was available and truck was reserved. Received a call today stating that they don't usually rent trucks in that size and that they would reach out to the car rental side at same location to see if they have a truck. Received a call back stating that they don't have any trucks, even though I received confirmation and everything. Now I have to scramble to find a truck to pick up items I've already paid for. Thank you Enterprise. I can now cross you off my list as never doing business with again. This is not the first time I've had problems with you guys either but it will be the last. read more

Had a reservation at 11. After 30 minutes I was informed that the car was not clean and they will need to clean it. Why have a reservation if they are not going to honor the time. This place has always been bad and apparently they have not fixed the issues. I would NOT recommend this place. Rented a car from this location off the website, which we have used this location before many times. It said my car would be ready for Pickup at 4. Arrived about 10 min early and was told I would have to wait awhile. I asked how long and the girl replied with a haughty "well, it will be after we get done taking care of all the other customers who were here before you". (I only saw one). So I asked if she could give me an approximate time? To which she responded that if I had thought to make the reservation earlier than I wouldn't have to wait so she gave me a pickup time of 6:00. The girls attitude was so condescending and hateful that even the service guy who was standing by her apologized. Would have given 5 stars but issue with refunding. Oct was having my car worked on dealership gave me rental for the day went picked it up had to use CC for refundable $50.00. Everyone super nice very professional, vehicle clean very nice. Next day noticed charge of $50.00 hadn't dropped off waited 30days went back in let them know the $50.00 was not refunded yet. Had accident ended up in the hospital for a month going thru all my bank statements while recuperating come to find out there has been no refund of the $50.00. What's going on? read more

It's 41 degrees out. Why do they still service customers outside. There are ways to service customers indoors and safely social distance. Why did my car come fresh out the wash. I have a rental car in Orange Beach, Alabama and drove here today after speaking with them on the phone because I was promised a swap, because my rental car needs an oil change. I Rented a car, Wednesday afternoon, i was told the vehicle would be 148, dollars for 2 days. When i returned the vehicle early on the 2nd day. AUSTON FILLINGER, basically interrogated me, with questions about was there a fire arm in thr car, and basically looked the car over with a fine tooth comb. Afterwards the rental was priced at 202, dollars. I stated this is not what I was told. Nevertheless, he asked a JENNIFER AMAN, SHE AGREES with whatever he says. Me being up set , just asking for them to hurry up. I asked for a paper receipt. She say oh it emailed to you, i stated it was for my company records. I got the usual grunt. Worst experience renting a car. I reserved a truck 2 weeks ago for yesterday. I get there and there is a line of people waiting for a cars as they do not have any ready. They go through their list in front of me and the employees are talking amongst themselves as if I'm not there. "This other guy reserved a truck but he's through insurance so he's not getting one" glad to hear. What about me?? Is that how you talk about all your customers in front of other customers? They put me down on the list and said they will call me in a few hours when there is a vehicle ready. No call. All night. I call the next day (today). "Come on down. We'll have a car ready for you." I'm sitting here writing this review furious as I'm waiting in another line of 10 people waiting for cars. Why did I reserve? Why did I call? Worst experience to date... It does no good to reserve a car with them. They won't have it, or have it ready. In my case, they didn't have me a car that I reserved a week ahead. So what do they do? They pull one from the back of the lot and the counter guy does a quick clean up inside. It didn't get rid of the cigarette smoke odor though. However needing to get on the road, I took it. That was mistake number one. Made it two hundred miles and then the engine light come on. Then the car struggled to get up any minor hills. Then the car was unable to accelerate from a standing position. Every time you pressed the gas, the car engine would bog down. I coached the car back to their shop after my trip. I have to tell you, some times you get great service from one lot, then bad service from another. Its hit or miss with Enterprise Rental. read more
