I have only actually returned a car here before but the whole rental process was not a disappointmrnt, a car was ready on time, service was outstanding and the return was a breeze. Rented a car here this past April and when we arrived, they gave us a filthy., smelly car. Exchanged it and the next day the suv started getting warning lights about low oil, low air pressure. Tried calling and got no one. Got the tires checked and had a slow leak. Drove it, then just parked it and uber. Tried to call enterprise main office and just got operators who said they would pass this on, but until now,no one had contacted me. Shame on you. Better employees who enjoy working/helping customers visiting for the first time their city. Only one person working the counter and cant do much work without the supervisor that came back eating from 'another situation'. Will not help you at all if their policy says you can't use debit card for their rental. Literally you will be stuck at their airport and they will deny helping you at all. Do Not waste your time or money here. They also wanted to charge me a hold of $600 for a one day $115 rental, ridiculous. I rented my vehicle online as I always do but this has been by far, the worst experience especially since in the middle of a pandemic the car was filthy. I was rushed and considered going back in to exchange for a clean car but realized the entire row looked as if it were cleaned with a dirty rag so I took what I was given. The car seats were stained, it smelled of cigarette smoke, there were no floor mats, the windows were so dirty that I had to go to get cleaner to wash them on the INSIDE and there was no window solution in the tank so I was unable to clean my dirty windshield while trying to maneuver out of the airport. As soon as I could stop, I sanitized the interior and sprayed it down and drove with the windows down to air out the vehicle. The company also tacked over an additional $100 of fees, taxes, etc to the bill but got the vehicle back in better conditional than they gave it to me. If you are renting from this location, I would ask about their standards of cleaning before you get into the vehicle, especially if you are at high risk. read more

**UPDATE** I reached out to Enterprise, as I was encouraged to do, to get NO RESPONSE once again. Thanks for nothing Enterprise! I would give zero stars if that was an option! We made a reservation several weeks prior to our Christmas Day arrival in Pensacola Florida. Our flight was scheduled to arrive around 10pm and we gave them all of this information when we booked. We got off the plane and hurried down to Enterprise's counter to find NO ONE there. Only a sign that said to go get help from the rental counters next door. We went over there and were told: sorry they were OUT OF VEHICLES and an Enterprise Manager would call us the next day at 7:45am! We were stranded on a holiday with zero options! NO ONE at the Enterprise operation was reachable and where we were told to receive help had no help to give. That was unacceptable business practice. One car rental option that WAS NOT given to us was Executive Car Rental. But there were several families in line there, so I got behind them and hoped for help. THANKFULLY we had success with Executive Car Rental due to an amazing staff member named Christina who was supposed to be off at 8pm but stayed until after midnight to help every person waiting in her line. She was an absolute angel who was our Christmas Miracle that day! Enterprise is despicable. They never even contacted us. No call...no manager checking to make sure we were taken care of or if we made it to our final destination safely...NOTHING. I returned my car on April 8, 2022. I never received my receipt and I asked it to be emailed to me. The manager and assistant manager lied to my husband, sister and me. My husband paid for our rental in full via Priceline. Both men claimed the car was not paid for and tried to charge my card twice. Both men were rude and certainly could use customer service training. The car I rented was dirty and heavily smelled of cigarettes. I was there on an emergency and didn't have the time to go back and forth with them. Be ware and I mean that. There are plenty of other rental companies to choose from. Associates are friendly enough when you rent a vehicle, but if you need to get in touch with anyone at this office by phone you may as well forget about it. I rented an SUV while my personal vehicle was at the dealership due to a mechanical issue. Noticed on the second day (after the air freshener wore off) that it smelled of cigarette smoke. Called to notify them so I would not get the blame for smoking in the vehicle (I have never smoked a day in my life and neither has anyone in my family who was in the vehicle). After navigating through the ridiculous automated system and holding for almost 30 minutes, no one ever answered the phone so I finally gave up. The cigarette smoke is now the least of their worries, however, because today the vehicle was totaled when someone attempted to make an illegal U-turn in front of me. I tried to call again and guess what - NO ANSWER, nor is my insurance adjuster able to reach anyone. I guess they will find out about their car when they read this review. read more

I accidentally left an item in the car and the rental facility refused to answer the phone. Fortunately, I drove back to the facility, four days later. They looked inside the car after it had already been rented, after I turned it in, and to all of our surprise that extremely important paperwork was still in the glove box. Over Charge $1100 from fleeing hurricane Sally and keeping their vehicle safe... I rented the car from here, on 9/12/2020. little did I know that hurricane Sally was going to show up and knock the power/ bridge/ water out. we were not supposed to fly out until 9/22/2020. Since Pensacola was unlivable due to these conditions our condo rental place found us a place in Fort Walton . This was a 60 minute drive from Pensacola. We could not get a hold of Enterprise at Pensacola airport to let them know we had to drop off the car to a different place. When I got to Destin Airport their Enterprise representative said no problem we will get the vehicle back to Pensacola. With no warning that we would get overcharged. As soon as we arrived inside the Air port they overcharged me $1100 dollars. How is this acceptable? How did I have control over a Hurricane? charging me 3 times what the original rental agreement was is insane. read more

They are open until 11:00 PM 7 days a week, which is super helpful when you decide that you need to rent a car *after* you've already left the airport. On a recent family vacation, it was decided (read: my mother told me, and I was too scared to stand up to her) that my hubby-to-be and I did not need a car since my parents rented a seven person van and my sister (who we were visiting) has a car of her own that we could ride in. It's a two-door coupe with a tiny backseat and trunk (Scion FRS), which makes for an unpleasant ride if you're stuck in the back. So, after a bit of bitching, whining and moaning, my mother finally waved the white flag and decided it'd be best for my fiancé to rent a car. I wanted to say I told her so, but I declined. In all honesty, we should have just rented a damn car when we arrived at the airport earlier that afternoon and just dealt with her wrath as opposed to having to drive back there later that evening. *grumbles* Anyway, we were able to book a reservation online, which made matters so much easier when we picked up our car. Getting to Enterprise was super easy since the area is clearly marked when you arrive at the airport. The man who helped us was shockingly very friendly for it being somewhat late (around 10pm). He chatted with us for a bit (mainly about the hot weather) while he completed our paperwork. He did try to sell us an upgrade, saying that he could cut us a deal on another type of car, but we declined. Our car was a white Chevy Cruze, which was brand new at only just over 1700 miles. I definitely enjoyed the Satellite XM radio, especially the 90s and the 00s Pop Hits channel. Definitely listen to that over the regular radio. XM is *so much* better - trust me on that one! Our lovely, little rental cost just over $70 for three days. It was worth every penny. We definitely enjoyed cruising around in our Chevy Cruze and having a bit of autonomy on our family vacation. read more

This place saved our trip. The spaceship--err, Chevy Impala--we were driving around Pensacola for a tournament began to flash a dashboard message at me on the second day: "Right Frt Tire Low, Add Air." Simple enough, huh? I added air to the tire. It laughed at me. The message remained. Confusing, but you know these stinkin' robots. On the fourth day, we got onto the highway and I immediately felt the dread "buddd-ump." Uh-oh. We got off the highway and found that the problem was actually the right REAR tire. It was punctured. Aw man. And it's New Year's Day. What do we do? Our GPS claimed that there was no Enterprise in Pensacola. We are so going to fire that thing. I called Enterprise in Gainesville, got voicemail, ended up connected to the call center, and eventually forwarded on to the small kiosk at the airport. They happily told us to bring it on by and we could exchange the car. Huh? I expected to switch out the tire. Really? We get a different car? So a trip that nominally began with a reservation for a Toyota Corolla ended with us getting a free upgrade to a practically new, super-sexy Nissan Altima 2.5S because no one likes to rent the 2-door cars. Hey, suit yourselves, more awesomeness for me. :D I think I'll be sticking with Enterprise for car rentals going forward. Their customer service has been superb every step of this trip. read more

ENTERPRISE rental has a website that clearly states their office location is open at 7:30 -5:30 Monday through Friday....I call this location and NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE...I called at least 4 times and each call was over 6 minutes that I was waiting for someone to answer the phone while listening to the same recorded messages over and over...this location is right in Wilton Manors FL ..at 201 West Oakland Park Blvd I don't understand why no one answers this phone...ITS A BUSINESS AND ARE REQUIRED TO ANSWER THE PHONE.. This location was the closest to me and apparently they don't want any business if they don't answer their phone...I will call another car rental company and rent with them....I am done with ENTERPRISE.. read more

I've tried multiple times to contact by phone, even went to the national headquarters and they tried as well with the same result. Reserved my rental a week in advance online with a debit card. Upon arrival at the location on the day of my pickup, I was informed that I needed to use a major credit card for my rental. Supposedly because I don't have an outbound flight. Which is fine except I was not notified about this until I arrived. I do not use credit cards but have plenty of cash to pay for the rental, as well as a bank account. So here it is a sunday, with no other locations open for several hours. Then was informed I would need a check stub and a utility bill to rent a car at a different location??? It's crazy. Once again, rules are rules but I was not once notified to bring a credit card. Needless to say, I was not able to secure a rental and I had to cancel my trip. It's supposed to be me and my fiance's 6th year anniversary. Very displeased. I called the corporate number and the gentleman (said he was the manager) was not friendly at all. Offered no way to fix this issue or get around it....on a sunday, when I had made the reservation in advance a week prior. The process is flawed and the customer service was not good. Great experience! The service counter was right in the baggage claim area and the service representative was extremely friendly. Picking up the car was easy as walking out of the airport and across the street to the parking garage. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to exit the garage as there are no clear signs of where to exit and the many signs that there were seemed to indicate where to drop off your vehicle which was next to the exit. Needless to say it took me a few minutes to find the exit while avoiding the busy employees speedily moving vehicles back and forth. Drop off was just as easy as picking up although again with signage, there was no clear sign stating "ENTERPRISE" car drop off here. I had to ask the employee if I was in the correct lane for enterprise. Other than that, great experience! read more

Definitely the worst rental car place I've ever been in contact with. Only takes credit cards which is very inconvenient for these times where people don't have credit cards. Also make sure you ask about every single charge because they will charge you a 200 dollar security deposit no matter what and this is the con artist trick...35 cents a mile....was not discussed and said it was in the agreement if you read it. Nope wasn't discussed even when I asked clearly what will I be charged for this and what's the total. When I emailed because oh yeah they don't answer the phone....The front counter does not answer the phone at all....and the email responses to complaints are definitely not sincere...basically a company that wants every penny from you. Great service at Pensacola Enterprise rental desk! I needed a lager SUV to transport 7 people for work while staying at Pensacola for 4 days. The agent gave us the GMC for the same rate as a mini van, which they ran out of. So Enterprise cleaned the GMC had to wait about 20mins but it was find with me. The only thing I would like is when a customer recieve a vehicle with WIFI capabilities they never give you the password? Other than that the vehicle only had a left taillight cover filled with condensation. Great vehicle over all with a smooth ride if Enterprise fix the taillight issue I would buy the GMC with the quickness. read more

The service was extremely slow. First, the employee spent a lot of time trying to flirt with the 3 girls in front of me. As he was flirting (unsuccessfully), the line was growing. So by the time I got to the counter I was pissed. So he finally gets to me. He starts out with the usual questions, which was fine. When he got to the insurance, I declined it. He then proceeded to ask me about my car insurance and what the deductible was. None of this was his business. I started feeling like he was treating me like I was an idiot. I've traveled to Pensacola airport twice to visit my boyfriend in the Navy. Both times I used Enterprise because I'm used to using them for work in Los Angeles.
