If I could give this place less than one star I would. I had a reservation to pick up a car on Friday in the morning. Didn't make it there at that time it was about noon when I finally did get there. I don't remember her name but young lady who was working that day was very rude and when I said I had a reservation and I hope you still have a car for me she kind of laughed and said I hope so too. After sitting in the office waiting for about another 20 minutes or so I asked her again about getting me a rental. I was there as my car was in an accident and I need to put it in the shop to be repaired and get a car to drive. She didn't proceeded to tell me that it probably be a while. I asked her what that meant like how long a while an hour 2 hours , what? She then told me she wouldn't have anything for me until Tuesday that they were sold out and just because I had a reservation didn't mean that they would have a car for me. At that point I got a little irate because there were other people that just walked in and she was taking really good care of them and ignoring me. I hate to say this but I think my skin color was the wrong one for that store. Everyone else she waited on was of a different ethnic background than myself. I then called the main number spoke to a gentleman whose name I didn't get explain my situation and told him I wanted this escalated to corporate. Unfortunately during one of my long hold periods with him His phone is seriously hung up. Imagine that! I do have an appointment now on Monday with another Enterprise location and I think I'm probably going to get a lot better service there than I would have gotten South Phoenix. I've been renting from Enterprise for over 3 years with no problems until I met ERICA at the 4121 S Central Ave Phoenix, AZ 85040 location. I got in a car accident in my rental Friday 9/4 and took the car straight to the central avenue location where I picked the car up from. Erica stated that she could not switch me into another car and I kept the car until 9/5. Friday morning I went back to file the claim and Erica again stated she did not have a car and she would call me when I could get into another. Erica did not call all day. I called in On 9/6 Saturday morning Erica said that the enterprise location had zero cars and I would have to just return the car on Monday. It is now Monday and I'm stuck in traffic.. and can not make it to return the car before they close. Enterprise hasn't been closed for more than 30 min current time and Erica is stating she's reporting the car stolen and hung up on my face. I told her to wait it may be another 30 min - 1hr so i could fill the rental car and go and get my permanent vehicle she was not willing to work with me at all. The car hasn't been late 1 hr. Erica is the rudest representative I've met in my 3 years renting from enterprise. I will never visit this location and she does not deserve to be workin in customer service. She has also been super unaccommodating considering I was also in an accident. I may be looking to sue erica for emotional traumatic stress during a time of need. I will also be reporting this with corporate. I've given enterprise over $800 this week for her to trip over the day my plans didn't go accordingly when I've been trying to work with her all weekend. Erica deserves to be fired. Do not work with her. read more

After getting into a car accident my insurance company provided a rental car options and this Enterprise was selected based on proximity to my address. Tyler is an absolute gem and a pleasure to work with. His kindness was most appreciated during this difficult time. I was able to come get my car one day earlier than originally planned and he was was more than happy to help me. This was the fastest, easiest and convenient rental ever. We literally were in an out of there in about 15 maybe 20 minutes. Alfredo Vargas at Enterprise on S Central was curteous, thorough, fast and efficient. And then this happened! We went to a local car dealer to purchase a vehicle for my wife. After the purchase we went back to our rental but could not find the keys! After spending an hour looking we called Enterprise and were directed to the airport location for another vehicle which was much better than the one we were originally given. Our contract was till Thursday. We decided to rent an extra day or two. We went back on Thursday to the airport location and were told we could simply call in for the extra day or two. We did. No problem. A few hours later Alfredo Vargas the rental agent on S Central Ave where we got the first vehicle called my wife complaining and had the nerve to tell her "we are not the right type of people for a premium vehicle"! That is some discriminatory racist bs! My wife was highly upset. In addition he called and left me a message while I was at work and told me my payment would not be accepted! I called Enterprise to extend another day on Friday for Saturday and was told by the agent on the phone that he was blocked from extending for another day! What kind of service is this! The staff at the Enterprise location at 4121 South Central we're amazing. Calaen, Erica and the two other employees we're extremely accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable about the cars. I would highly recommend anybody who needs to rent a car to go to that location. read more

I rented a car here for the Holidays this year. I booked it with a 3rd Party Site. I travel frequently for business and have had both good and bad experiences across the country. I honestly never booked with Enterprise as it just seemed a hassle to be picked up etc. This was truly the best car rental experience I have EVER had! I found the service above and beyond in every aspect of my experience. The manager got us an outstanding pristine vehicle which accommodates our large family and really made our vacation complete. Would never return here again. My son's flight was canceled and we needed to rent a car to quickly take him to his destination. We made a reservation online with an agent through the chat and had plans to pick up the car that afternoon. However, another son was ordered to have an emergency CT scan causing us to not get to this location until a half hour before closing. We raced over only for them to tell us they had nothing available for us and would not have anything for six more days--after the scheduled return of our traveling son. We were told to try another location. When I asked how we would know If another location would have any available I was told everywhere was sold out. No apology, no compassion, no effort to try to help us, just wanted to send us out on a wild goose chase. I called corporate and within a few minutes I was able to find a vehicle just three miles away at the 7th St. location. The treatment toward us by Kyle at the location on 7th St. was completely opposite. He waited for us ten minutes after closing and got us off on our way within minutes. I could not believe how awful we were treated at the Central location. I don't know what was going on personally in the man's life to make him act this way toward us but I assume it must be terrible for him to treat customers that way. read more

This is the worst crooked business I have ever been to or experienced in my entire life of living. When I returned the car not only were they rude, but 3-4 weeks later claim there was damage on a car that I dropped off perfectly fine. It's convenient that I dropped the car off and there was no damage and I was cleared to go... then a day later I call in for billing explanation and Aubrey gets snappy with me on the phone.. just so happens i get a phone call a week later claiming damage. Just spoke to Gary on the phone. Wow, terrible customer service skills! I made my reservation online via an email that my auto insurance provided. That was easy peasy, but the email didn't specify which location to pick up the vehicle so I called. It sounded like I was on speaker phone and Gary was quite rude. He didn't even say goodbye. I've been dealing with Progressive insurance customer service and two different towing companies for two days straight and they went above and beyond to help me. Had a scheduled pick up Saturday at noon showed up two hours early. Was working with the lady and she said that we would have to wait in queue to get our car. She said it would probably take an hour which I understand since I was early. I turned to my wife and said I really don't want to hang around an enterprise location all day I wish there something else we could do. I was thinking of going to breakfast with my wife before I left her for a week. Erica who is potentially the manager there who know she didn't even have a name tag on was right next to the lady I was dealing with and she chimes in with you can come back at noon. I was thinking she was being helpful and I said OK. She says "instead of standing there mumbling under your breath"!?? A lady in the lobby gasped at that comment she couldn't believe she said it either! Erica then went on to say that I could come back at noon and they might or might not have a car for me. I was seriously astonished. I went outside called enterprise filed a complaint and cancel my reservation. I've rented with enterprise at the airport 20 times and never had a customer service issue. I don't know what the hell they're thinking but they need to get rid of this employee. I looked at the location and couldn't believe it had two stars. I thought it was impossible to have two stars. I reserve a RAV4 thinking that I'll go to a Rogue or a Camry (both shown on their website) if the RAV4 isn't available. But when I get to the lot, it's just American made cars (e.g. a Dodge Journey).
