The people who work here are just so nice. They made everything so easy. This was my favorite car rental experience in years.

Booked a Mini Van weeks in advance. 3 days before our trip cross country we got a voicemail stating that the reservation was cancelled because they have no Vans available now due to a recall. oh and no we don't have any SUVs either. Ian is awesome! Super nice guy and they were able to take my reservation a few hours earlier than expected. Cars are clean and well maintained and I was given excellent customer service. Policies were explained thoroughly and there weren't any surprise fees. I rent cars a lot for work and this was by far the best experience I've had. $100 in tolls including eye-watering convenience fees because the process of adding the rental to my EZ Pass was not explained to me, this is within the scope of basic customer service and completely spoiled an otherwise decent experience. Train your staff better! read more

Location gave me 3 bad vehicles in a row then puts me on the DNR list and won't give me a reason. Charged me an extra day and also charged me multible times for bs charges and refused to refund. Do not go to this location. read more

From what I was told and researched there has been a recent change in management at the Phoenixville location. I can certainly say customer service is no longer a priority. I actually rented my vehicle from the Exton location (separate review) because it was open on a Sunday and I didn't want to pay for an extra day of use while not needing the vehicle. Needless to say the vehicle Exton provided failed to meet my expectations. I drove to the Phoenixville location the next day (Monday) and asked for a new vehicle and explained the reasons why. I was told that EVERY vehicle on the lot (probably 8 - 10) had to either go in for service or oil change. I found this hard to believe but one individual there took my number and said he'd call in the afternoon after some of the vehicles were done with maintenance. After 4 hours went by with no call back, I called the enterprise and inquired about the status. I was blown off again and told all vehicles were still in the shop/maintenance. Although I didn't believe this, I figured I'd hear from enterprise the next morning (Tuesday). Tuesday comes and goes with no call from enterprise so I went online and searched their inventory which showed several vehicles ready for use. After my due diligence was completed, I called the autobody shop where my wife's vehicle was being worked on. They provided me a detailed timeline and told me my vehicle would be returned the following day (Thursday). So instead of following through with Enterprise and re-engaging them about a cleaner/safer vehicle I decided to just let it go and move on. However, after dropping off the POS rental and realizing that even the most simple and basic customer service requirements couldn't be met, I figured I had to at least post here to warn other's before using this location. Customer service here was absolutely amazing. They were a little busy when I went in on Friday. Didn't take long for my turn. I had a bit of an issue and Brandon was so kind in helping me find a solution. He went over all my options and helped me figure it out. He was patient and kind. I recently rented a vehicle from this location. As I was from out of town I really appreciated that they were able to pick me up from my location. The young lady that picked me up was very polite and friendly. Unfortunately, I had a small issue with the car, fortunately, Jessica the manager immediately offered some solutions - I was no longer in the area as I had driven to another city by that point. The other Enterprise locations (2 in Harrisburg) were not able to help me with a vehicle exchange so I had to drive back to Phoenixville - Jessica took care of an exchange immediately without issues. While I waited for my paperwork, Jessica took a call from what appeared to be a previous client that was having issues at a different location, Jessica immediately offered that client solutions/options as well - great job! I will be renting from them again when I return in October. read more

I live right around the corner from another Enterprise location but have decided to rent from this one from here on out. From the first interaction to the last, everyone was extremely courteous. My car was clean and ready to go at pickup and the return was easy. No surprise charges. And unlike with Hertz and Budget, I didn't get double billed for using my own EZPass. (Even after you add the rental to your EZPass account the other companies often still charge you. I've been fighting that for months). Long story short, this is my new go-to rental spot and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

I always rented cars with Enterprise! I was a loyal customer, but this last time, I rented a car in Phoenixville-PA for a weekend, two weeks later they charged an additional costs on my credit card of $11,59, and now almost a month later $6,75!! I went to the store, they don't have any information on their system! I sent an email, and they called me saying that it was a tool that I didn't pay! I asked for all the information, when, where was the tool, time, and everything, because if I have to pay for something I JUST want to know what it is!!! But NOBODY answered me!! I will never recommend Enterprise to anyone again!! read more

I came in to rent a vehicle only instead I left with all type of insurance for the rental car (more insurance coverage that I have in my on car) that I wasn't offer or at least knowledge that they were optional so I was lied that they were required. read more

I rented a car not what I wanted they strung me along all day about having a car for me around 5 pm. Well 5 came and went and no call, called and more of the same we do have but we don't have I believe that is called bait and switch. If only negative stars were possible, do yourself a favor and do NOT rent from this location! They scam you and will claim ridiculous types of damage. It is all a SCAM see other reviews, they claim dents on the hood of the car, it is just away for a small unsuccessful branch to turn profit, be cautious and mark the roof!!!! read more

Used to be a big fan and my partner and I were great customers for a number of years but today when returning a car from vacation we left the IPod in the car. We called no more than ten minutes later to ask someone to hold it and we would be right back but we were told there was no IPod found - well shame on us for leaving it but SHAME on the thief who stole it - note to self do not trust that if you leave something in your rental car even a small outlet like this one you will not get it back if it has value. I am really mad as heck that someone is listening to my tunes!!! read more

Not one problem to be found. I was picked up on time-actually a few minutes early-by a pleasant young man who brightened my morning. The folks in the office itself were professional and personable and it was a quick in and out. I was on my way with papers signed in less than 10 min. No problems with the return, either. Extremely disappointed, disgrace to the military. I called the office directly to make a reservation, I asked to specifically speak to a representative in the local office. I was transfered and advised the agent was in the local office. I advised my husband is MILITARY and neither one of us have PA license, also advised we will be using a debit visa card (we choose not to have credit cards, no cards = no debit) the "local agent" advised not a problem, even put me on hold to "check" just need to bring in two utility bills. Low and behold this was not the case after going to the office. We were DENIED a vehicle because we don't have PA licence. When I again advised military status they simply did not care. Although we had more than the required credit card hold available on our account they were more concerned with the license state status, unwilling to make any exception for military personnel. This is a disgrace, and extremely disappointing. read more

scam, scam, scam!!! i returned my car to this location yesterday afternoon. the woman at the desk never asked me to come outside to do an inspection on the car, instead she asked for the keys, and said she would be right back, she just needed to check the car in real quick. well after about 15 minutes of waiting, i looked outside, and saw this woman almost on her hands and knees, obviously going out of her way to find something. well she did! she found the most subtle indentation, about the size of a knuckle, which i am convinced is what she used to make this dimple. it is so barely noticeable, it is no wonder it was over looked by the employee that rented me the car in phoenixville. she stated i was not to receive my deposit back, and that i probably will have to pay them my $500 dollar deductible, and if it was more than that to fix, she would have to file a claim with my insurance. i asked how to dispute these claims, and with a smirk, she said, this is why your supposed to buy our insurance. you cannot imagine how hot i was at this point. she said i needed to take it up with the branch that tented me the car. soooo i drove to phoenixville figuring the nice people that rented me the vehicle would remedy this situation. wrong!! was told there was nothing they could do. i had to ask for the names of the employees involved with this 4 to 5 times before she finally gave them to me. and when i asked her for contact information for anybody in a position higher than branch manager, she gave me a name and phone number. only problem is that the number she gave me only gave me the option to leave a message in a general mailbox. i called her back and she said she would email her boss and have him contact me. no call back whatsoever since then. i started looking to see if anyone else has had this kind of experience with them to find hundreds of similar stories on consumer affairs website, then i checked local reviews on several sites on this location, and could not believe how many people have left similar reviews, god knows how many people that haven't left reviews. well i implore anyone with a similar experience to spread it any way you can. my next step is contacting the attorney general, better business bureau, consumer affairs, state, and local representatives, as well as spreading the word as much as possible over social media. what is obviously going on here is, a ploy to have any damages fixed by those who deny buying there insurance, as i am positive, had i bought there insurance, this would never have been a damage worthy of fixing. you need to look at just the right angle just to see it. this is obviously there common business practice. read more
