They would not rent me a car because I had no credit card or util bill. I moved off grid and got rid of credit cards cuz they are had for you. I have plenty of money, really needed a car bad and they would not do it. I work for a lark firm that uses the rental car places regularly. Not answering phone, every 10 min they just say they can't process the call and to call back. I have a reservation that needed to change a bit. Website says changes can be made, but no ability to change drop off location due to flight changes. Going to try to change to another rental (our business uses Enterprise but ....) - of course then I'll have to try to cancel. Finally got ahold of a customer service. NONE OF THE ENTERPRISE RENTALS except the airport in a major metropolitan area (Kansas City) will let you rent from them and return the car to anyone else but them. So you can rent a car to go across town...., Very disappointed with Enterprise. Going to try and cancel my useless reservation that can't leave the city now. My advice - look elsewhere. read more

Reservations don't matter. They called me the night before to confirm the car would be ready at 0730 then called again the morning of to say the car wouldn't be ready until 1100. 1100, still no vehicle. Horrible customer service. read more

Although smaller than most car rental locations it is convenient to have an offsite rental car location so close to the airport. My car is not as clean as what I would normally get from the airport but the savings made up for it. Customer service was fantastic on the day I rented even though the customers themselves were being less than professional. read more

I made a reservation through this agency and was dropped off at 10:30 to pick my vehicle up. There was no vehicle available to rent until after 2:30pm. Woulda been nice to know before being dropped off. Staff very unhelpful told me I could call around and see if I could find an available vehicle but they said "probably can't anyway but you can try". Will never use enterprise again. Great first impression. Horrific customer service. read more

I rented a car through my corporate account. Picked it up, was told to just return it half full of gasoline. I put an additional $2 in before dropping it off to make sure I was over the 1/2 line. I called this morning to see where my receipt was, and was quoted some ridiculous amount. Further investigation revealed that they were charging me $4.19 per gallon to fill the car. Ineptitude at its finest and this seems to be a theme. They agreed to remove that charge, but I still have not received my email receipt, 24 hours after turn in. I need it for my expense report. read more

I rented a car in Platte Woods, MO. The car only had 1/4 tank of gas in it. They told me that I could return it with at least a 1/4 tank of gas when I returned it to Chicago. I actually returned it with 3/4 of a tank and they had the audacity to charge me to fill it. When I asked the location I rented it from they said they really had no control over what the other return location charged. Will not rent again. read more

I was a victim of bait and switch at this location. I had a reservation for a full sized vehicle, Nissan Altima or similar with a full tank of gas. Instead, I was given a Toyota Corolla with a quarter tank of gas and charged for the full sized vehicle. After picking up the car, I called Enterprise corporate customer service who confirmed that I had been given an intermediate sized car. I called the local branch manager who then agreed to reduce the rental fee. She also stated that it is NOT their policy to fill the gas tanks of the cars that are returned to them! This is unbelievable because there is a gas station at the adjacent property and another right across the street. The vehicle that was rented to me had high mileage (45000+), stains on the drivers seat, and a hole in the floor board near the gas pedal. Finally, two days into the rental, a "maintenance required" warning light appeared on the dashboard. I have rented cars many times from Enterprise without any problems, but this was my worst car rental experience ever. I cannot recommend rentals from this location! read more

Enterprise has always been my choice when renting vehicles. I made a reservation went into pick up my car and it seemed like my car would be available but then they realized that the car they had was a damaged vehicle and not one they could rent out. They were rude and did not offer me another car, nor did they check any other locations. I asked them what is the purpose of a reservation if a car is not available when needed. About 15 minutes after I had left they told me they would have a cargo van at 2 pm. Ridiculous...I needed a car for business to drive 6hrs away. I went to another location of north oak and that manager was even more unpleasant. I called the corporate office and 3 days later have not heard from them...no apologies or anything. Never again will I go to enterprise and will tell everyone I know about their poor customer service. read more

This location has very poor service. The general manager does nothing to resolve customer issues. She allow the staff to take long breaks , allows the staff to rent cars in lower category and charge a higher price, then allows the staff to pull bumpers off of cars , blames the guest for the damages and allows staff to make disrespectful comments to the guest. They will take advantage of you. I have had to make many calls to attempt to get a resolution, was told the general manager had the authority to resolve, but she did nothing. I am a rewards member and rent cars at least monthly. Usually good service at platte woods location but last few times I have been over charged and have not got my rewards points used correctly. Cars are usually dirty and the staff is always hurried. Seems no one is in control and keeps things flowing. Some days there are 4-5 people working and others there is 1-2 so not much continuity. I have called twice regarding my last rental amount being incorrect and no one has bothered to return my call. I may be switching car rental locations :( very poor customer follow up read more

Very good customer service. We ended up getting a ride from our hotel because they said it would take 45 minutes to an hour to get us but it ended up OK. We did get a free upgrade to a beautiful truck because the car we booked wasn't available. I was very impressed with that. When we brought the truck back we were not aware that they couldn't take us anywhere near the airport so we had to take a taxi.....$20 was bad to get to the airport. Another car hit mine so their insurance had to pay and made me use enterprise. I have a Saturn, enterprise brought the car to me at the deal. The car had no gas and REEKED. I was told there were no available cars so I drove back to my town. I called back to say I could not keep driving this car and that they needed to bring me another one. The woman on the phone was nasty as can be and told me that I had to drive it back to them--40 minutes away. I said that I couldn't. She said that that was the only was I could get another car. I waited and called back, got her again. Nasty lady. I finally insisted on a manager. He apologized and offered to bring me a car. When he got in the other one he said he could not believe this car was given to me. Cut to today. My car was ready. I called to talk to Enterprise, to tell them I would be leaving it at the dealership since the dealership told me this was routine. This time it was a man, nasty, nasty, mean attitude. He said I could leave the car at the dealership but they would not pick it up today and if a storm happened I would have to pay for damages to the car. I ended up driving to Enterprise and having them drive me to the dealership. It meant I had to leave work early and loose money to be sure they could get me to the dealership before it closed. Again, when told what happened the manager was full of apologies but I had to take a ride with Mr. Nasty to get back to the dealership. Bad first car, 2 nasty employees. Avoid them like a plague. read more

I rent on a monthly basis for work. In the last 6 months the service at this location has continued to go down hill. As an Enterprise plus elite rewards member and the amount I money I spend at this location annually you would think that would count for something. Apprently not! My previous 2 rentals they have messed up the reservations and while setting in the office waiting and talking to the staff I get answers like well so and so is not here today and I just dont know why I cant find your reservation they must not have entered it. This last month was my last ever at this office and quite possibly this company. Yet again not the vehicle I requested 2 weeks in advance (Tahoe LT or LTZ the same every time for over 2 years now!). They eneded up putting me in a 2 year old plain jane explorer with 47,000 miles on it. It was not washed or cleaned inside from the previous renter. Im' not usaully a picky person but this thing had bird poop and bugs all over it and cigarette ashes inside with what appeared to be smashed chips or crackers in the seats and floor board. The final kick in the teeth for my continued loyal business at this location when I retuned the vehicle (washed to get all the crud off of it) the little assistant manager had the nerve to tell me I had been smoking in it becuase "I can tell by the ashes inside the vehicle" and they were going to have to charge me a cleaning fee (In the vehicle they gave me that was never cleaned or washed). I DONT SMOKE I CAME FROM A FAMILY THAT SMOKED IN THE HOUSE AND THE SMELL OF IT SICKENS ME!!! Steer clear of this locaton. They will never get another penny from me I dont recommend you give them yours! read more

I have rented from this location several times and they did ok but this time they really dropped the ball. I talked with them at 11am and had a reservation and scheduled them to pick me up at noon. I left work and drove home which takes about an hour. I get home and wait. And wait. And wait. Couldn't wait any longer, had to get back to work. I had a message waiting from Enterprise when I returned. Message stated they looked around but didn't see me. I contacted them again all they had to say was that they tried to call but no one answered. They said they have to call before they would come so they can verify I still need to be picked up, even though I had an appointment and we had just spoke an hour earlier. So they didn't actually attempt to pick me up like they stated. Funny thing was that their message was 20 minutes after they were scheduled to pick me up. It takes me an hour to get home. What good does it do to make an appointment if they don't follow through. If they have to contact me before they leave it will still be an hour before I would be able to meet them.
