I came back after my trip and had re-rent another vehicle and again had a good experience with their customer service.

He said about 200 miles which is not even close. Finding Tesla charging stations is a nightmare. So, I called and asked to have the car swapped when I got back from my first business trip. I was told no cars were available but call back and over the weekend. Again, no cars. Called again on Monday and finally, we can swap you out. Drive over to the facility after fully charging the Tesla only to be told I now need to pay more money. What a joke!!! Needless to say, I will never rent from them again and I rent a car for business every other week. Good riddance!!!

Some people cannot keep side conversations and non-work conversations outside of other people's times. Unprofessional and seriously frustrated. She also mentioned my husband is my father, he's a couple years older than me and there is no way he could have a 27 yr old. Commenting about how it sucks to ask men for stuff which I shrugged off because it seemed like she was extremly bitter about not having someone in her life. On top of that, she charged me 700$ for insurance she told us was 300$ three times when asked how much it was! She commented we were there still there at 5:09 but she wasn't giving us the keys because she was screaming in the back at someone and we could hear it from the office. Her name is Alexis Chiers. She called me from her number and told me my rental is ready yet when I got there she acted as if she never called me and as if my husband wasn't there three times already. If this is a manager trainee I wonder who the actual manager is! I have video of everything that was going on and I'm going to corporate about this.

The tech looked at it, couldn't figure it out, then they decided to recalibrate it. The vehicle then started. I drove it home and now it won't start again the next time I went to start it. I contacted the shop and they are saying I will have to tow it in at my expense because the vehicle was working when I left. I am only 4 miles from them. Being this is their fault or lack of how to work on vehicles, you would think they would make it right. But they are not. And, are not issuing any refund. I am now forced to do a BBB Claim and dispute the transaction for a shoddy shop.

We got a Trax. The TRAX is THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE, NOTHING premium about the TRAX. . You had to manually pull the seat forward or backward and still had a difficult time seeing over the dash. The cruise control wouldn't release.We asked for a different vehicle the next day after driving it around KC . Also, there was garbage under the seats from the previous renters. They said no, we'd need to go to the airport, because that's where they get their cars from. We went to KCI and they said they had no cars to trade. There were 3 of us traveling over multiple states over a 30 day time frame. We paid quite a bit of money for this, and it was horrible. No room for luggage. The seats are basic seats with minimal padding, we felt every bump in the road. VERY loud road noise. We have rented MANY vehicles over the last 40 years, and this was the worst. We have always had great customer service at Budget on North Oak, but not this time. Makes us think different for the next time.

The one at the far end would ocassionally yell. "anyone in line a preffered customer?". When noone responded she continued to return text messages on her phone instead of helping waiting customers who were not "preferred". We were all delayed by more than an hour waiting on their agents and yet, when I returned the car 2 hours late due to traffic after a 20 hour drive for springbreak, they charged me a 50% fee (1 addt'l full day rental). They then advised me they would be waiving the $20 "late fee" as a courtesy. Ridiculous customer service and policies. They take the car and re-rent it the other 22 hours they had possession of the car early and then charge you for the full day usage. And, the off-shore, impossible to understand customer service line is worthless and simply recites the offial policy and then tells you that you understood the policy and they will not do anything to be reasonable in their approach to the situation. Terrible business operations.

I picked up my car after they had closed and while driving home, the cold air stopped blowing!! The original problem was NOT fixed it would work, then it wouldn't work, just like it had been doing before the $1300 repair. I took my car back the next day and they said there was a circuit that was dirty which was causing the air conditioner to quit, and oh, by the way, the compressor was bad too, so the $1300 was necessary. In the end the TMS auto, the' Elite Ethics Certified' repair shop is nothing more than a parts swapping repair service, that will support their mechanics regardless of the cost to the customers. So, think twice before going there.

I was out in just a few minutes with no more striking or noise problems. Makes the car so much more enjoyable on a long highway trip. Can't complain about the cost. The technician and service manager even wiped the fingerprints off my car. I'm pleased that the same professionalism and friendliness that I get at the service shop also exists at the body shop. I know of friends who have gone to other body shops with similar problems and have never really have their problem fully cured.

Enterprise has always been my rental car company of choice and still will be; however, At this location they did not offer the service of picking me up or taking me back ( to the airport ) even though the Enterprise advertisement states all the time that they will. I had to get a cab. When I checked in, the employee was less than interested in my business, was not the friendliest, and although the type of car was nice, the inside had not been vacuumed or wiped down...in a word it was filthy. I've rented at many Enterprise locations Farmington, Wichita, Kansas City just to name a few and I have always rec'd 5 star employee service and vehicles. I happened to inquire about an upgrade and keeping the car longer which she was more than happy to look into. The upgrade was more reasonable than keeping the car longer so we got an upgrade to Jeep Wrangler. Upon getting out to pick the Jeep options were plentiful. The manager m, Erica, was outside assisting customers with their rentals. She too was friendly and accommodating. The car was satisfactory and enjoyable for our trip!

Within 12 hours of picking up the vehicle, it broke down twice. I initially contacted roadside…read moreassistance after the car died, and they were able to jump-start it. Unfortunately, after driving for approximately two hours, the vehicle died again. At that point, it was very clear that the car had an electrical or mechanical issue and was not safe or reliable to continue driving. The vehicle ultimately had to be towed back to the airport. I was instructed to go to the National location and get a replacement vehicle, only to arrive and find that they were completely out of available cars. The only remaining option was a vehicle that an employee themselves warned me reeked of cigarette smoke. The problems didn't end there. Roadside assistance arranged for the original vehicle to be picked up by a tow truck, yet hours later, my National app still showed that I had not returned the vehicle. I also just received my invoice saying the car was returned late when in fact it was returned by the tow company 5 hours early and I was OVERCHANGED. I can't make this up. I have repeatedly attempted to contact the Kansas City airport location directly, but calls are routed to a customer service call center that is essentially unable to resolve anything. The representatives can document complaints, but they cannot actually address the issue or connect me with someone at the location who can help. I have made multiple requests for someone from the Kansas City branch to call me back, and no one has returned my call and they intensional do not post their local number anywhere online. Everything is a call center. The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating. When a rental vehicle breaks down twice in less than 12 hours, the expectation should be that the rental company takes ownership of the situation, provides a safe replacement vehicle, and communicates with the customer until the issue is resolved. Instead, I have spent hours making calls, repeating the same information, and trying to get someone--anyone--at the local branch to actually take responsibility for resolving the situation. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer support has been unacceptable. I would expect significantly better service from a company of National's size, particularly for someone who rents vehicles frequently. Someone from National is going to respond to this review telling me to go to their website to submit my situation even though I have call 4 separate times about my situation however their website doesn't have anywhere to leave a complaint and the only lists the call center contact numbers where no one can help. NO ONE WILL CALL FROM THE LOCAL BRANCH.

The location is also nice because it is right next to the highway and has a gas station down the street. When I arrived, I spoke with the man working who was friendly and helpful and got all my paperwork done promptly. He answered all my questions and gave me some advice on the area, which was appreciated. My room was very very clean and everything functioned properly. The bed was comfy enough. The sheets and comforter were low quality, but that is as-expected for 200 bucks a week. I slept very well during my visit. My only complaint was that some people staying here seemed a little shady. I had the same complaint staying in a different Value Place at another location. I think extended stay places probably just attract shady people. Also, there was a loud party going on in the parking lot one night during my stay. It only lasted about an hour and wasn't that late (probably around 7pm). I like Value Place because it is an awesome value for the money and has a kitchen. It is a great place to stay when planning a long visit (at least a week) and don't want to eat out for every meal. Don't expect all the amenities of nicer hotels (e.g. shampoo, room service, cleaning, etc.).
