Matt pulled the rabbit out of his hat! Our adventure was as follows... We had scheduled Jax Elite Charters to pick us up at 5 pm on Thursday to drive us up to Brunswick GA.. Weather intervened and we had to leave the next day... so we scheduled to get picked up at 5 pm on Friday... Well we arrived at the Airport at 5:30 am to leave and the rescheduled ticket in the computer for was not for March 8th but November 8th... Well there were no seats available anywhere because of spring break and the bad weather... so we had to reschedule with Jax Elite Charters again as we were now not arriving now until 11 pm on Friday after a zig zag excursion across the country ... so we called again and Matt worked out a couple of options for us. Ultimately he personally drove us up to Brunswick on Saturday before he went forward with his full day in Jacksonville. I work in the entertainment industry and have worked with hundred of car services around the world. I do not know if I will ever be back to Jacksonville but I guarantee you I will not delete Jax Elite Charters number out of my phone. While we are familiar with the city, it was really interesting to have the context of history to frame our knowledge. We arrived 15 minutes before our tour, and our guide Toni was waiting for us. The tuktuk was ready with a cooler filled with champagne, sangria and water (that we ordered as add-ons to our tour). She gave us a set of headphones and a speaker we could wear around our necks, so we could hear her narration clearly over the traffic. Our two hour tour was chock full of sights and sites! Toni was fun, knowledgeable and engaging. We had plenty of opportunities to comments, ask questions, and even get out of the vehicle to take photos or admire certain locations. We cannot WAIT to take another tour (or three!) Highly recommend - this is a fun date for couples, families, or friends!

This trip was a scenic ride from Jacksonville to Orlando for a day trip. I have to say that this experience was very nice and peaceful. I took my mom who had a great time. It was so nice not have to hassle through with luggage or go through a ton of security to ride the train. It is super convenient to be able to take your luggage on the train. I also have to mention that the price for a round trip ticket was fantastic. I will say the Jacksonville train station does look a little outdated, but I would happily use this place again to avoid traffic down to Orlando.

These folks punched a hole in my Amtrak box,took some thing out of it like my Victoria secret…read moreperfume.I had a lay over that wen to long I decided not to continue my trip,my box made it to the Amtrack station ,2 days a\later my mom drove in and when the she picked up the box it was broken.It had are missing items but I let it go...Funny thing is the prior station had convinced me against my will to put my things in a $5 AMTRAK approved box and put it the cargo because my suitcase zipper was wanky but suitcase was goo I want it to wrap it in plastic wrap which I do just to protect the life of the suitcase.Anyways I went along with it, trip was a mess and I ended up getting stuck in native stop 1 day and another 2 days at another one which never happen before with Amtrack in any part of the country.I discontinued my trip took a bus midway back home because it was just insane the way the trip was going.My box had ended in Jax station ,my entire trip seems hijacked including my I PAD being taken while I feel asleep in the train,while waiting for it I had to stop my trip and decided to cancel it.It was horrible ,I think Amtrak is okay for 2-4 trips but not to cross country and state lines it's not safe and stations are not always conveniently located near hotels,motels,restaurants and reliable transit in case of delays.RENT A CAR IF YIU MEED TO GO OUT OF STATE,SIGHTSEEING THE COUNTRY, AND DO NOT WANT TO GO IN AIRPLANES.

Traveling with TourTime has been a delightful experience. I have gone on two day trips (Winter…read morePark and NASA), and two overnight trips (Helen Georgia and Callaway Gardens) with Jim U and the TourTime group. Jim's planning and scheduling were perfect. All I had to do was get on the bus which was loaded with snacks, ice and drinks (water, sodas, sangria, Margaritas, and wine) and relax until we reached our destination. Wherever Jim took us, whether it was restaurants, boat docks (Winter Park), hotels, or theme parks, the staff was waiting for us when we arrived. Our bags were taken to our rooms, and what great rooms they have been! Our most recent trip was to Callaway Gardens. Our beautiful rooms had balconies overlooking the hills of Pine Mountain where the leaves were changing colors. Can't wait for the next trip.

Try to get in first couple of lines as the ferry is small and can fit only the first fifteen cars. We paid $8 for a truck on a Saturday.

Taking the ferry is a wonderful alternative to additional highway driving. The staff are efficient…read moreand the ferry has run right on time each time I have been on it. The actual ride is only ~5 minutes, with 15 minutes between each trip to accommodate time to load and unload the ferry. The only downside for me is if the wait is crowded and I can't tell if I will make the ferry or have to wait for the next one, but it's a beautiful spot to be stuck in.
