I will start by saying that you MUST consider this for your next celebration, work get together or just a fun weekend. I came across Go Tuk'n months ago and thought how fun it sounded and added them to my list, and followed them on social media. I knew that my Husbands Birthday was coming up and since it was on a weekend I knew this would be a hoot to get some friends together and take on the brewery tour!   We met our Tuk Tuk at Riverside Park, and it was decorated with balloons and cute décor. Our driver/tour guide was Jess, and she was AMAZING!  I really can't say enough about her. She was fun and friendly, but also kept us all on schedule, and made sure we were having a good time, and telling us some things about the breweries as well. She made sure we were safe and didn't hit our heads getting in and out of the Tuk Tuk, and didn't miss out on an opportunity to head to the next spot just because we were having fun at the current one. Jess also played awesome tunes for us and laughed along with some of the funnier parts of the night.   We visited five breweries in three hours yall. We drank a ton, we laughed, we talked, we shared stories and beer flights. And we had no worries of how we were going to safely get to the next place. Go Tuk'n really takes the logistics off of you and lets you just enjoy the night. As long as you UBER to and from the pickup location, you're good to go! There are many different pick up locations, and also different ways to pay like splitting it among friends, and making a private booking or letting it up to fate if you are with other people too. Also you can purchase drinks to enjoy while you are riding!   There isn't just the brewery tour either. Go check out the website and see all they have to offer, I promise you will not be disappointed. I think our next adventure might be the  scavenger hunt!!

When I tell you to go, do not stop to collect $100 ... run, don't walk ... Steph Dale has uncovered a hidden gem with the purchase of Tuk's; bringing them to Jacksonville and capitalizing on the vast array of opportunities the City of Jacksonville has to offer ... both long time residents and visitors alike ... The first tour was the historic Avondale & Riverside area - rich in architecture, gardens and history. Our tour today was the new ArtRepublic tour - millions of dollars of art is displayed Hugh & low throughout the City for the public to peruse for FREE! But, take the Go Tuk'n Tour & listen to the compelling stories behind the art; understand the artistic perspective and their muse! It's an incredible 3-hr adventure that could've easily gone longer! Steph has hired some of the best and brightest storytellers and safe drivers! Toni is phenomenal - her appreciation for this City shines through! Five stars all the way!!

I heard about this cool business through friends. We decided to use it for a nice evening of our 11th wedding anniversary. We checked in to a Southbank hotel where they picked us up. We had an awesome time doing the "pub crawl" and because we still had time the driver took us to one of our favorite spots that was nearby, despite it not being a listed spot. It was an awesome experience and the driver was phenomenal. The weather was perfect this November evening and I loved the colored lights on the vehicle. We received quite a bit of attention driving the streets during the tour. Our only regret was not ordering food at the first or one of the first stops Tepeyolot Cerveceria. If you go on a tour eat here! We are going back!

    All aboard the Tuk Tuk!

We had so much fun with Toni, our tour guide, putt-ing through the most architecturally fascinating neighborhoods.

Ruby Beach Brewing Company is located in downtown Jacksonville across from Yates Municipal…read morebuilding. It is reasonable paid parking, about $2 and hour. Inside is a little tight, but it is an old building with naked bricks, historic decor, a good sized bar and tables inside. Outside is a deck with covered tables, another area for corn hole and a food truck which has all the major bar food groups including churros. Sean was my beertender and he really was the best. They have a policy of holding your card for tabs which I really hate, but he made me feel comfortable about leaving my life in his hands. When I first walked in on a weekday during happy hour, it was pretty light, but around 4:30p the place started filling up. Happy hour is Monday - Friday until 6pm and they have 18 taps which qualify for happy hour. Plus they had 3 guest taps, both ciders. Ruby Beach has a mug club, it is about $80 for the year. You get a free beer on Tuesday as well as your own numbered mug. It is limited. So exclusive in fact that they do a raffle every August. The BEER: Crown Jewel Belgian Tripel 11.4% ABV... easy drinking, not boozy and quite delicious, this one will sneak up on you Return of the Mac Daddy Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... the description is "rye pale ale hopped with Amarillo. On the first sip I thought one note, but boy was I wrong. As it warms it has layers. And in my opinion the layers are all good, like a good lasagna. Over the Ditch 15.0 NEIPA 6% ABV... if I was in front of a firing and they gave me a last request, I might choose this beer. Sweet grapefruit and stars... love this! Grit & Glow Lager 5.2% ABV... if you have ever smelled fabuloso that is what I first smelled when I put the beer to my lips, the beer itself is just as perfumey, not for me... but if you like those type of flavors in beer, you might like this one Rosemary In the Rye Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... all day crushable pale ale, with a slight hint of rosemary, basically the Mac Daddy plus rosemary O'Ruby's Irish Stout 5.5% ABV... smooth coffee with hints of toffee, so ver crushable, but it is way better warm Didn't get to try the food on this visit, but on a side note... the bathrooms are both unisex and CLEAN. Ruby Beach has great beer, great service and personality, everything I want in a brewery. Come visit and see for yourself.

But spend a few minutes inside and you'll…read morerealize it's also a quiet tribute to basketball culture, local loyalty, and unexpectedly onion ring excellence. I arrived unaware of its history, but the owner's love for basketball is unmistakable, and the locals reflect that same devotion... not just to the sport, but to the space itself. There's an ease here, a sense that people aren't just passing through. I took a seat at the bar, did what one does in such environments, and ordered an IPA. It was solid... confident, balanced, exactly what you'd hope for. But then came the onion rings, which I ordered based on a subtle but unmistakable social cue: everyone else seemed to be eating them. Reader, they were correct. These were not mere onion rings. These were structurally sound, texturally precise, and philosophically complete. Large, fully cooked onions, no trace of that unpleasant raw bite, encased in a crisp, golden coating that somehow maintained its integrity from first bite to last. Crunchy, consistent, and deeply satisfying. Naturally, I paired them with blue cheese dressing because I'm from upstate New York, and that is not a preference, it is doctrine.

I arrived a little bit later than the rest of my group and they had already ordered several apps for the table. I did not come hungry this trip, so I just munched on the boiled peanuts. They were spectacular. The service was wonderful! The employees were all very engaged with the customers. And what a great place to watch the game! An abundance of TVs and what's better than hanging out with fellow jags fans?! Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor options. And just a fun place to be. I'm officially a fan now and will for sure check this out on a more regular basis. No pics because I was too busy being blown away by the Jags performance today! Duuuuuvallllll

I was thinking the outside looks like they made it with Lego, but Lego from an artisan. From what I understand, it was the ice packing plant for the city, converted into a tile shop, converted into a brewery. Really love the end product. I especially love that they have Belgians on tap in Florida, where Belgians are few and far between. The Belgians here, including the hefeweizen were made with love. Before I forget, shouts out to Jeff for answering all my eclectic questions, and being a genuinely all around professional. Love your energy bro, low key and inviting, an authentically good person. The BEER: Weizen Wolf hefeweizen 6% ABV... this is the hefe I remember from Germany, banana and clove goodness BPA Belgian Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... like a party in my mouth, perfectly balanced and so very crushable Hostile Wit-Ness Belgian Wit 4 5% ABV... not what I expected, it has floral notes, is light like jasmine tea with a kiss instead of a bite at the end. And once it gets warmer it opens into something wonderful. St Anthony's Fire Rye Barleywine 10.8% ABV... slightly boozy, a semi sweet, with a delicious finish. This one is one and done. A full pour of this will send you home in an Uber. Southbank Hazy IPA 6.5% ABV... not a basic hazy, some citrus and when it warms up it is so very wonderful I didn't spend much time at Aardworf Brewing Company, but the time I spent was fantastic.
