Have had some bad experiences at this location in the past with prior management, but gave them…read moreanother try when we needed to price tires. Price matched no problem, tires ordered and installed within a couple of days. Overall noticed that things seemed much more efficient and the atmosphere was MUCH friendlier since our last visit over a year or two before. The current manager, Scott, has a genuine interest in making sure the customer leaves happy. The vibe now is more like a business that wants to be part of the community. Been back for routine services and Scott knows us by name and you don't feel like you're just a name on an invoice. Have seen other customers walk away just as happy. What a pleasant surprise to find a business we had written off to come back strong and actually earn our business. Can highly recommend without reservations. 12-1-2017 Just back in for routine service--got called by name as soon as I walked in the door. Barely had time to finish my coffee when I was told my oil change and rotate was done. Was even given a coupon for the oil change. Service is so great here, got really tired of going to other places and being sold services or products I really didn't need. And if something does go amiss, Scott makes it right with no hassle. Superb customer service!

On the phone, I verified I woud only have to wait about an hour for an oil change. Once we arrived, we were told it woud be 2 + hours. That more cars had come in then they were expecting. So, why take appointments when you don't honor them? We left and will go elsewhere.

Mavis Tires & Brakes - Luis and Rob both worked on my car. I had a great experience here at Mavis Tires & Brakes.

I have used this nearby shop for several issues with my older car. Sonny is the service manager and…read morehe and Eric are always so helpful with addressing my issues. Each staff person that has helped me has been great. I must report that after having brakes done, one of the brake pads fell off. But , I returned to mavis and they immediately replaced the brake pad and rotor, standing by their warranties. After new struts, my convertible top would not work, but I found the electric line where the joining plug had separated and we just had to plug that back together. I think it separated as they had to move things to get to the struts and did not realize it. But it was an easy fix when we looked around . This shop has been my go-to place for all sorts of issues , and I have often called them my heros, because they have been so good to me. Mavis has all sorts of crazy warranties on stuff too, and you can go to any Mavis anywhere, if you need to check a warrantied part. I did that to check my new battery In another state and they were equally helpful. ( and my battery was fine) . Not many places can get you in and out on the same day you show up, but they sure try . Very pleased.

No investigation, no willingness to review the transaction, and no concern about the circumstances. Selling a $1,700 suspension repair to a 20-year-old car with 180k miles to a young customer raises serious concerns about sales practices at this location. Consumers -- especially young drivers -- should be very cautious when accepting expensive repair recommendations here and should always get a second opinion before authorizing work. I will also be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Florida Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division so the situation can be reviewed.
