The truth was I could pick between 2 cars a Corolla or some other car and everything else would be an upcharge. Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Agent and car - Car Rental Near Me - Riverdale, Georgia

I reserved a minivan 2 1/2 months in advance at the Fayetteville, GA location. The day before a Saturday pickup, the location called to say they had no minivans, but were checking other locations. The next day (Saturday) they still had no vans, but would keep looking and would call me. They referred me to the Business Plus members line (it was a business rental). I talked to Business Plus representatives four times in 4 hours as I needed a van to take my staff and equipment to two major conventions in Florida. Each time I was told that a report had been sent to the district office and they would call me as soon as possible. I personally went to 2 other locations looking for a minivan before arriving at the Fayetteville location shortly before closing. All they could say is "I'm sorry." Apparently, it doesn't matter if you reserve a vehicle 2 1/2 months in advance, and apparently Enterprise could care less about their business customers. I never got a phone call from the district office, and all I got from the Fayetteville office was "I'm sorry." However, I drove to the airport just 20 minutes away. While the Enterprise desk had no vans, National did. National is owned by Enterprise. But, because I reserved the van the day of instead of 2 1/2 months ahead of time like I originally did, I had to pay $400 more for the van. No one from the local office lifted a finger to make sure a van was available SOMEWHERE in their system for a business customer, even if I had to pick it up at a different location. The district office did nothing either. I had to go find a van myself...in the Enterprise system...and I did. Enterprise Holdings owns Enterprise, National, and Alamo. Surely they could have found a van in their system to take care of a business customer. Why can't the employees who are paid to do this themselves instead of me, the customer, having to chase all over the system to find a van? And I had to pay $400 more because Enterprise employees don't care about their business customers. I needed a van to take my team on a crucial business trip. I couldn't wait another day, because I would miss business at conferences. I counted on Enterprise to have a van for me, since I made a reservation months in advance as I planned my business trip. If you are counting on a reservation to be filled at Enterprise...DON'T. I am going to have to rethink my business account with them. read more

The service was average nothing spectacular, reason I gave this a 2 star is because of the vehicle that was rented to me. The car smelled like smoke and was still dirty on the inside with ashes near the shifter. If I wasn't in a rush I would have complained about it the minute I truly noticed it's condition. A few hours later the A/C was working at 10% on every setting. It was a very humid and uncomfortable ride. Hopefully I'm not forced to rent from this location again. read more

So today is 12/31 and my issue with Enterprise began on 12/28. My car was rear ended and Liberty Mutual is the other persons insurance provider and they work with Enterprise for their rental cars. I have now, after 3 days of trying to schedule a pickup, after they missed it twice I now have learned that Ive been placed on the "Do Not Rent List". This is the most ridiculous experience I've ever been through. I'll walk you through it day by day: 12/28 (9:30 AM Missed Pickup I contacted store at 11:30 AM) Worst customer service and branch Manager is very unprofessional. I will never rent for this location again. 35 minutes on hold for no reason but to apologize for their mistake which they didn't take ownership of. They didn't pick me up as requested at 930 until I called at 1130 to see what the problem is/was. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN. Just go to college Park location 12/28 (4PM Missed Scheduled Pickup I called at 5:50PM) This is my second complaint about another Enterprise Rental location. I am currently en route to the rental facility after a two hour pickup delay. The office is now closed and the young man that FINALLY came to pick me up is driving as crazy as hell because they are closed and he has to do a late pickup that he missed that was actually a make up appointment for the one I missed earlier in Union City. This has been one of the worst experiences with Enterprise that I have ever dealt with and I will NEVER do business like this again with this company. No kidding we are en route to the College Park Main St location and I'm almost positive that we will be involved in a serious car accident before arriving. Upon arrival after expressing my concern the corporate officer refused service to me and called me a Lyft ride home. This has been the worst customer service experience in my life and I am reporting this directly to corporate. I have never been treated this way and I refuse to do business with Enterprise ever again. This occurred 12/28 at 6:20 because the store had been then closed. The store manager stated that they would not rent to me and they called a Lyft service to bring me home. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. So to sum it all up I was denied service at 2 separate locations. I was supposed to be picked up at 9:30 from the Union City location, I called at 11:30 and was met with a very nasty attitude from the Branch Manager and she denied service after I questioned why no one called to inform me of a delay and/or why did I have to call to check on my scheduled pickup that was late. My reservation was transferred to the Main St location in College Park GA. They scheduled a pickup at 4. No one arrived. I called at 5:50 pm to ask if they were still coming to pick me up. The store manager said "someone will be there shortly" which means they forgot as well. When I got their I expressed my concern and was denied service yet again. The store manager called a Lyft to bring me home and I have arrived now at 7:45. Still without a vehicle and a blatant denial of service. Not owning up to your mistakes is disgusting coming from a corporation. Never again. read more

I usually don't pay attention to reviews because I like to judge for myself, but this location has forced me to submit one. I see that nothing has changed as far as the bad reviews from two years ago. I get to the damn location and find out that they don't have any cars and was told I would have to wait a few hours. A few hours?????? WTF? Do these folks think people have that much time on their hands? Why would I wait hours? I have appointments to make. I didn't get off of a long flight just to be told I have to wait hours for a car. I was forced to take a more expensive rental. I reserved a Corolla and ended up having to drive off in a punk ass Mustang (I hate crap ass Mustangs). And now that I think about it, why was I NOT offered the Mustang for the same price as the one I reserved? This place is a dumpster fire. I made a Corporate reservation online and received a confirmation number. I went to the Riverdale office and, as I expected, there was a line of customers who were asked to sign in. After some time I spoke with a desk representative and... they had no cars. He suggested I wait because "usually we have allot of returns around this time." I waited 45 minutes... others came in with reservations and also were asked to wait in hopes that someone would return a vehicle. I left and went to Avis. Do yourself a favor - never attempt to rent from this Enterprise location. read more

This has been the worse experience with a car rental ever! It started when I arrived and there were no cars available. They asked me to wait around to see if someone returns a car. There were several other people doing the same thing. I finally got a car over an hour later. I told them to go ahead and put my credit card on file for incidentals, but that I didn't want the final charge on the card. I was assured that I could pay with a debit card when I returned. When I returned, I was told that they couldn't process the final bill and that someone would call me the next day. I told them that I had to work and may not be able to take the call. They assured me that no final charges would be made until I confirmed the final payment. I missed the call, and they charged my card. I called back to tell them to reverse the charges and I would give them another form of payment. They then tell me that I have to come in for that. So now I have to come in to give another form of payment??? Why couldn't they take the other form of payment when I was ALREADY THERE!!?? NEVER AGAIN!!! I usually rent from Alamo, but choose Enterprise because the rate was cheaper over the busy holiday weekend. My rentals with Alamo have always been simple and easy. They only hold the amount of the rental on my card, while Enterprise holds the amount plus a 250.00 deposit. I can finalize my purchase immediately on return of the car with Alamo. I have never gone through so much drama for a car rental. read more

This place needs a lot of training in customer service. The front desk clerks are more interested in selling you OPTIONAL rental insurance than they are in renting vehicles. If you refuse the rental insurance, Mr. Jeremy will make you give him unnecessary information about yourself even when you presenting a credit card. He will even go off on you just to get you to accept the $19.99 additional insurance. I gave this place two stars because their customer service tend to be a little better when I returned the car. read more

I wish I could give this location a TRIPLE NEGATIVE ZERO I went to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 7254 Jonesboro Road on 9/10 & 9/11. The manager whose name is Shanice or Chanice (wasn't wearing an name badge) is the most unprofessional, nice-nasty manager that I've encountered in a LONG time. On 9/10 my appointment was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. I arrived around 7:45 because I was able to drop my car off at the dealership early. There were others waiting outside were business is being conducted (due to COVID 19 - understandable). The location opens at 8 a.m., the staff ALL came out at 8:05 a.m. I explained that I had a 10:00 pick-up and asked if it was okay to pick-up early. I was told yes by an employee who wasn't the manager. In the midst of working with another employee, the manager rudely takes over my interaction with the other employee. A customer pulls up in a blue Hyundai Elantra and tells me "you can get that". My husband is a Platinum member (I MUST ADD). I had to switch the reservation because he wasn't with me (no problem). I then said, I didn't want that car nor did I want a dirty car. Shanice (Chanice) then tells me "you can take that or you can pay more!!" I declined and left. I then came home and booked a new reservation for your Fayetteville location for 9/11 at 10:30 a.m. I received a COURTESY call on 9/11 at 7:14 a.m. to let me know they were sold out. Thank you Monica in the Fayetteville location (that's the professional managerial way to handle business). 9/11 my husband now schedules two appointments for a rental car again at the 7254 Jonesboro Road location, one in my name and one in his name for 12:00 p.m. I arrived 11:45 a.m. an hour before my husband only to be told "we ain't got nothing for you" by Shanice (Chanice) after waiting in the heat to be serviced. I was dropped off by an Uber, so I had no other choice but to wait for someone to pick me up. As I waited an hour for my husband to arrive, (when he arrived) the employees not knowing we are a couple rented my husband a car after telling me and several others they were completely sold out. After my husband drove away in the rental, I asked how was he able to get a car but I was told just and an hour and a half earlier that Enterprise 7254 Jonesboro was sold out. I must have surprised the manager, because her reply was "where did your husband get a car" and I responded, "he just drove off your lot!" She then shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry!" The male customers came and drove away with ease, but the female customers either encountered a problem, had to beg & plead, get upset or were turned away. It was my husband suggestion to do business with Shanice (Chanice) at 7254 Jonesboro Road, because after the encounter with her on 9/10, I preferred walking. With or without my husband, I rent from your Fayetteville location and I have NEVER been treated so harsh, so I know this is not the experience or expectation of Enterprise. I only gave one star becase you cannot give anything lower. This location has the worst service. I think Clark Howard was talking about this location when he used the phrase "customer no service". I honestly do not know how they are still in business. Our first experience was bad however we figured everyone is entitled to one bad day. This is our second bad experience so at this point we are completely through with enterprise. If you chose to try enterprise definitely stay away from the one on hwy 85. I unfortunately didn't read the below reviews before renting. I had a confirmation number to rent a car from this Enterprise location for the morning of July 26th. I'd known when trying to reserve that there was no availability at the airport location, so I took an expensive cab ride from the airport to the Riverdale location when I landed in Atlanta. When I arrived I was greeted with no apology, no car, and a shrug. The staff didn't seem that bothered by the fact that they were out of cars... I understand glitches happen, but there was no profuse apologizing (none at all), no offer for a future voucher, no offer to call a cab - just nothing. Additonally, I would have saved about $40 and alot of time if I'd been alerted ahead of time that the location was not going to honor my reservation. When I left, I actually said, "so, I'm just going to leave then and call myself and Uber?" and the guy at the counter was like "yeah, I don't know." There are obviously so many ways to handle this better. I spoke to corporate on the phone while there and was assured by a supervisor that someone (I believe a regional manager) would contact me and to save my receipts to get around Atlanta. I've called twice this week to follow up as I did not hear back last week. The corporate location assures me I'm in some sort of queue of complaints (nice, Enterprise) and that someone will be in touch. It has been almost a week - it doesn't seem that hard for someone to reach out. This has been far and above the WORST customer service experience I've ever had with any company and I'm appalled that no one has gone out of their way (at this point, just literally responded) to make this better. Not having a car ruined a day of plans, inconvenienced family who took time off to come retrieve me, and was expensive. I am shocked and appalled no one has reached out - this is totally unacceptable. Renters - beware of this company - is it really worth ruining your plans to get somewhere, your vacation, your move? ENTERPRISE ON HWY 85 - RIVERDALE, GEORGIA IS TERRIBLE!!! BUT THE ATLANTA AIRPORT ENTERPRISE IS AWESOME!!! The Riverdale Enterprise is the most unprofessional rental site around. My husband and I had reserved a large vehicle a year in advance and continued checking with the staff to be sure that there would be no issues when my husband picked the vehicle up for our week-long out-of-town trip. The day before we were to pick up the large vehicle, I got a call from a staff member at the Riverdale site that we were renting from and he asked me if I was still planning on picking up the vehicle the following day. I told him that I was absolutely coming to get the vehicle since we needed it for our week-long trip to the beach. BUT...the following day when my husband went to pick the vehicle up he was told that the vehicle had been canceled. My husband tried to understand this lie since a Riverdale staff had just confirmed the reservation the day before, but obviously, he had canceled the vehicle right from under us. We were stuck without the large vehicle that we had reserved for a year with no way to get to our out-of-state destination. The Riverdale staff tried to give my husband a tiny compact car that rattled when it was driven which of course would have never made it out-of-state and back. It would also not have carried all of the items that were taking for our trip. My husband and I were floored at how unprofessional this Enterprise staff was which was so surprising since we had rented from Enterprise many times in the past. Instead of trying to find us another car, my husband and I had to rush home and search online to find a vehicle at the Enterprise in the Atlanta Airport. The Enterprise staff at the Airport was 100% professional and not only did they give us a large vehicle so that our trip would not be hindered in any way, but they also upgraded our reservation to an even larger vehicle at no extra cost. Also, we got the rental within an hour of the Riverdale site messing over us. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE RIVERDALE ENTERPRISE ON HWY 85. THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BUNCH OF PEOPLE AND YOU WILL BE DISHEARTENED WHEN THEY MESS UP YOUR PLANS BECAUSE THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR RESERVATIONS. Riverdale Enterprise, you guys would get zero stars from us but we had to choose at least one star to write the review...shame on you for being so uncaring, unprofessional, and unwilling to honor a reservation made many months in advance. This location absolutely sucks. Do not at all by any means rent from here. I made my reservation only for them to tell me once I got there, that they had no cars at all available. So fast forward two days later they still "didn't " have any cars available and they would call me once one was available. Don't forget I talked to this young man at about 10:30 Thursday morning. So I called corporate to let them know what was going on. Less then 10 minuets of me getting off the phone with Corporate, the so called manager calls me and was very rude, dry and irritated I guess because I called corporate but who cares. All of a sudden she said they have cars available and I can come now. So I get there and I'm doing my paperwork and I had to run to the bank because now they want to charge me for their insurance that you really don't have to get but I said fine. The girl runs out and asks me which car I wanted I told her whatever my reservation says I don't want a challenger. I also asked her am I still being charged what the rate was when I first made the reservation she said yes then I said it's still for six days correct ? She said no four I said dats not what my reservation says. So we go back to da counter and now instead of $477 it's now $543. I said that makes no sense because your charging the same price for four days as six days. She said they can't do anything about it because they offered me a free upgrade but I didn't accept it. I said I don't want no damn mini van or pickup truck that is not what I reserved. So the rude manager says well you didn't accept what we offered you there were vehicles available. I said you trying to force me to take something I don't want that ain't going to happen. So she says well not giving you two free days, I said I'm not asking you for two days I just want the original price of my six day reservation. She said I not going to do that because we offered you a free upgrade. I said you know what cancel the entire reservation, she said okay so I grabbed my papers and told them to give me the copies they made then she said have a good day I said no you have a good fuckin day and walked out!!!
