Nope! Weeks later they send you threatening letters about hail damage (during sunny weather?) , despite not having any check-in inspection forms, pictures, etc. They likely are dinging people's insurance for deductibles to pay off their older cars before they sell them. This is criminal activity directed specifically by the management. It's also common nationally for this company.

I had an appointment and I arrived a bit early and was told they don't have a car for me. I was told to wait and there was a vehicle coming. Instead of the SUV I was supposed to have, after waiting an hour and 1/2, I was put into a low Nissan Sentra. Although they did have an SUV, they gave it to another customer right in front of me. They tried to tell me this was all the insurance approved. So I took the vehicle with a huge stain on the passenger seat and a streaky windshield. I asked my representative to check for me and she said I was approved for the SUV and would call to see if I could exchange it. They stated they had no available SUVs in the entire city available, even with me agreeing to go to another location. I drove this vehicle for 3 weeks in the 100 degree weather. Anytime I was at a stop light the a/c blew hot air. When I went to turn it in, I had to wait over an hour to return the vehicle. Then I was told that I was late bringing the vehicle back, but don't worry, he would fix it for me. (My SUV had just finished being repaired) After a miserable 3 weeks driving a vehicle that was painful anytime I got in and out, the guy had the audacity to ask if I had received 5 star customer service! So I told him the truth, caught him lying to me, claiming my representative never called to exchange the vehicle (I was standing right next to her when she did call multiple times!) and I was on approved for a full size car. (Another lie!) He then asked if I would like a free upgrade on my next rental from them. Really?! I only had the rental because some guy rear ended me! I reminded him he had plenty of chances over 3 weeks to improve the horrible customer service I received and they failed to do it. They get one star because I can't give them 0 stars!

Enterprise has been my preferred agency for years, the availability of my preferred vehicles, the…read morequality of the vehicles and the very competitive pricing are definite winners in my book. My most recent experience is with the I-10 location, and offers some of the best of the agency, but also a bit of a disappointment. First and foremost, the staff. James Briscoe was the agent that handled my most recent rental, and friends, I cannot tell of a more affable, friendly fellow that combines good cheer with journeyman knowledge of the rental business. I watched as he interacted with other customers in queue ahead of me, and the rule is excellent customer service with a smile. If I were king of the rental business, I would hire this gentleman in a New York minute...he is just that exceptional. But now for a bit of the disappointment with the I-10 location. I have had occasion to visit previously, and problematic is the very limited hours on weekends. The issues around car rental can be unpredictable, and closing office at noon on Saturday and Sunday is, frankly, a problem. Speaking with other customers in line, they also agreed. The other issue is staffing. On my visit recently and previously, only two agents were manning the counter. The creation of an account takes time, the physical review of an auto with the client before delivery takes time. But here is an interesting footnote. When I take delivery of a vehicle at the airport, a personal review of the auto with an agent is not required, rather depending on the renter to check and report any issues. And if there are none, you would be good to go. Perhaps the issue of auto review should be reconsidered, given the limited manpower at the I-10 location. I still consider Enterprise my preferred rental agency, and will continue as a patron. The strength of manager Briscoe at I-10 is noted, but the very limited hours at the location, the limited staffing was an issue for me.

Got there and waited 40 minutes before we were approached by sales rep. We are from out of town and only went to Echo Park because of their seven day return policy. Time to find out it doesn't apply if you have a trade-in. Also, if it exceeds 250 miles that dishonor the seven day return policy as well. Plus a $700 protection spray that MUST be purchased on all vehicles. At this point 99% chance I wouldn't get a car here. Just waiting to get trade in value and "bottom dollar" Sales manager is quite deceptive, brash, emotionless in his dealings. We fell into the old wait wait wait wait wait and wait longer game with this cast of clowns. Problem is the longer I wait the more furious I get. The presentation took past 5:00 PM. Which means we couldn't go to the bank and get a cashiers check., as they will only accept $5000 on a debit card, which forces you into financing - go figure. Example of their magical math. Sticker price on the car was $23k, had a $4k trade in, bottom line was $22k - GOT MY KEYS FROM MY TRADE IN AND WENT HOME I couldn't get the bottom dollar until I got my keys and was leaving after a 30 minute wait !
