Arrived as scheduled at 1:15 just got our rental car at 3:55. The car is filthy and the gas tank was not filled. Customer service counter said it's been this way for weeks. Cars are not on site and only 2 employees to retrieve them. Service agents were polite and apologized but this is unacceptable. read more

We have been waiting almost two hours! This place is awful and understaffed! Please hertz get your business more efficient!

My flight arrived a little pass 11 pm and they close at 11. I called the location several days earlier and talked to a local representative and told me someone was usually around to allow for late pickup. I arrived and the counter was closed with no one around. A couple was looking around the counter looking for keys they were told was hidden away for afterhours pickup. I ended up taking a lift to my hotel for the night and returning in the morning to pick up my rental vehicle. Pick up was quick and easy. The airport is small, so everything is close by. Pickup lot is around front. They give you the keys at the counter and you walk out to the car and drive off. No presentation of paperwork or parking gates to go through. Returning the car was not as quick and really easy. I do not remember being told but returns is in a different location from pick up. I tried returning the car to the same location as pick up, but no open spots were present. I ended up calling the office and being told it is on the right as you enter the airport pick up drop off area. Visually it has hard to see but it is the parking lot on the right just before the airport terminal. Returning the car was quick and fast and just a short walk to the terminal. A quirk at this location I noticed was the number of texts reminding me when the car was due to be returned. Other locations I have rented from were pretty flexible on what time I was returning the car. This location sent me a link to adjust return time. read more

Literally, so easy. I booked through Priceline and had zero problems. The Santa Rosa airport is so tiny that you're from your gate to the desk in mere minutes. I was quickly checked in and was able to grab my car in no time. The cars are parked just outside of the airport and I was out in no time. I was assigned a 2023 Jeep that it was in perfect condition. I also appreciated it had an extra wipe in there for extra clean comfort! I was super impressed with the car I was assigned and had a great time driving through the rolling hills of wine country. read more

Not Good. One star review since I had a CONFIRMED reservation and they didnt have a car, and could not fulfill the obligation. Furthermore, the smug kid behind the counter told me in three ways how he had 'no control, 'my hands are tied', etc. its a very poor way of conducting ones business and does not encourage repeat customers. while a regular Enterprise user, this location will not be getting my business, ever again. read more

The enterprise airport rental car office is one of the most incompetently run businesses that I've ever encountered. There's lack of management lack of courtesy lack of any professionalism that resembles customer service. Enterprise gave away the car that was reserved for me through Expedia. Beware of the enterprise office at the airport as they are rude and incompetent. They also have no management and no way of contacting them. UNLESS YOU WAMT TO WALK DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE. We drove from LAX to Santa Rosa. We stayed there 3 days before realizing we had a damaged tire. We take our Cadillac Escalade XL to the Santa Rosa Airport location at 2200 Airport on Friday, November 18th. We asked for a replacement premium car. They exchanged it for a Nissan Armada. They had a Jeep Wagoneer and refused to exchange our Escalade for the Wagoneer or Suburban and they had approximately 3 of them available. The Armada didn't have the legroom of the Escalade. We are driving back to LAX if a car type not reserved and are very uncomfortable. They didn't try to accommodate us, considering they had SUV's in the fleet to do so. DO NOT rent from them. They have very poor customer service and limited inventory. read more

On 9/16/2022 we had a Enterprise representative at the airport named Julian, who went above and beyond for his customers, and waited over a half hour beyond closing for our plane's late arrival. Not too happy with this place. Sent us off with a car that had terrible rotator warpage a driver side mirror that fell out of its encasement bad window wipers that were greatly needed in the Nevada desert during an extreme downpour on Hwy 80. We also had to replace a back tire enroute due to an existing nail in the sidewall. With all these hazardous issues, I will say Enterprise took about $400 off our rental price. But, they seemed unconcerned that they rented a vehicle to 4 generations and possibly could have harmed all of us. read more

Five people working the counter and ineptness still abounds. I booked my rental through AAA and planned my trip to arrive before dark at a remote location 2 hours away. I don't like driving the treacherous coastal roads at night so I planned my flight arrival and rental car pick-up accordingly. When I went to pick up my specific car size (don't like driving small cars on treacherous coast roads either) they not only didn't have it but they didn't seem inclined to upgrade me to a larger car and only offered smaller cars or a pick-up truck. They said my car was being washed and would be ready in 10 minutes. Tick tock as I watch the sun setting and 30 minutes later - still no car. I finally went to the Avis counter and get the hell out of there. Thank you Enterprise for forcing me to drive in the dark of night, on the edge of cliffs gripping the steering wheel the whole way. Great experience renting a car for the first time being 24 1/2 yrs old. I like that enterprise allows people like me to rent a car when not being 25. We ended up getting a charger for $150 for 2 1/2 days and gas was only $22. The employees were professional and returning the car was peace of cake. I would definitely come back to rent a car when I travel. I also received a phone call to see how everything went and if I had any questions. :) Highly recommended. read more

We had a funeral arrangement, so we made a reservation on Monday to rent an SUV for National/Enterprise on Friday at 6:30PM that could accommodate our trip in the rain. Come Friday, they don't have an SUV for us. They only had a minivan and a Nissan Frontier (how the hell can I fit a family and our luggage in that in the rain). They couldn't even give us a better price for all our troubles. The time is now 7:50PM and they are STILL "cleaning" the van for us. What was the point of having a reservation? We didn't make a 1-day/1hr short notice reservation;was the beginning of the week; so many days ahead and they couldn't accommodate our reservation at all. Furthermore, I can't say I've ever been to a rental car agency that took me over an hour to check out a vehicle. Oh, and the van wasn't even filled up. Not even halfway. I've been using Enterprise for about 7 years now. I have always had pleasant experiences until I came to this location. I rented a car a few weekends ago while visiting family and returned it to this location thinking it would be a simpler process since it's in the airport. I went to the desk and briefly spoke with a man (I found out later to be the manager, Caesar). I handed the keys over to him then I asked about the final walk around. He was dismissive and insisted "everything was fine so I could just go". I thought it was odd, but decided to trust him and went through security. Once back in SoCal I checked my emails and saw the rental agreement, which was closed out over an hour after I returned the keys. I noticed that I was charged for the damage deductible but didn't receive a call or email explaining why. I called to speak to someone about it. I was told I'd have to call back to speak to the manager (Caesar) if I was looking to fix an error and get a refund. I called the next morning and spoke with Caesar who was again very dismissive of the issue and spoke to me in unprofessional/casual way. I asked him if it was typical policy to not do a final walk around. He replied by saying "no, but I was the only one at the desk and I wasn't going to leave". He proceeded to tell me there was a dent on the hood of the car when he finally went out to check and that's why I was charged the deductible. I contacted one of my friends who's a manger for an Enterprise in SoCal about this situation as well. He informed me this damage claim is invalid. Caesar violated policy by not doing a final walk around with me, filing a damage report without my signature and processing the deductible without notifying me. I usually have more sympathy for people who work as customer service agents but I'm beyond disappointed with this rental experience, the lack of professionalism and customer service on this manager's part. My advice to potential customers is make sure you take pictures or go to another location, or even rent with another company. read more

This is the place I rent my cars when I take a long trip and need reliable transportation. I've rented cars here twice. Each time, these guys are impressively service orientated. It is as if they cannot do enough to show their gratitude for the business and their efforts to make my patronage experience the very best. I don't know who runs this place, but if he could bottle his management skills I'd buy two cases and send one to the democratic senators and the other to the republican senators. This is my first yelp review, but I have to let others know my experience. I made a reservation online for this the Santa Rosa Sonoma airport location. Pick up time was to be at 10am. At 8:50am. I called the number listed for that location and got Amanda on the phone.. I needed to confirm to I would have a car when I go at 10am to pick up the rental car. She assured that my reservation was there and I set to go. I get dropped off at the airport to pick up the car.. I arrive at 10:09 and there is no one at the counter.. There is a sign that says they are cleaning the cars now and will return at 10am. At 10:20am, Saman the representative returns. I proceed to try to pick up my car. He tells me that he doesn't have a car available for me. I was confused because I just called and confirmed with a representative named Amanda and she said there was a car available for me. Saman proceeds to tell me, that there are no females that work at that location and the I was likely transferred to a reservation desk in St. Louis when I spoke to her because Saman was the only person working that day. He tells me they will not have a car available until 1pm. Which does nothing to help me, because I have to drive to San Fransisco for a meeting at 1pm. He said there was nothing he could do. That he only had cars for people who booked ahead of time. I thought that was what reservations were for. (I felt like that episode of Seinfield) So there I was with no car and no ride, I called the other Enterprise location, on Cleveland Avenue in Santa Rosa, and asked if the Enterprise company had different policy's for each of their locations? I don't understand why I had to take a $25 cab ride back to my hotel. And had to rearrange my business meetings, because Enterprise failed to honor their reservation. read more

Never fun having to rent a car, but the guys at Enterprise located in the Charles Shultz airport went above and beyond for us :) After Hertz didn't have a car ready for us (made reservation same time as airline reservation), made us wait while others got cars, kept telling us it was being cleaned.... Waited 30 minutes..... If you have ever been to this small airport you will know that it is a one plane at a time place, pretty easy to coordinate airline & car rental customers. Walked over to the Enterprise counter, and they not only had a car, mached Hertz price and upgraded us to a cute convertible :) When returning the car, the little airport does not have wheeled luggage carriers (we had two large boxes that we needed to have checked along with luggage), the nice young men at Enterprise came out and carried our stuff in (thank you!) read more

Staff is WONDERFUL to deal with! I was greeted promptly when picking up my rental. Since the car wasn't ready when I got there (and was still getting cleaned), the fuel charge was waived. I also received a call to see how my car was doing and how the service was. That's a first for a car rental company. I explained my situation and the fellow on the other line (who was very patient with me). I exchanged my car in san jose (because I didn't like the trunk), and there were some hiccups with the billing after the exchange. I ended up getting 3 rental days for free. If I could give less than a star, I would without hesitation. These guys are absolute garbage. The lack of professionalism is astounding and lack of respect makes me wonder how they stay afloat financially. These people turned down an order that would have been well over $1100 due to a policy that prohibits them from accepting debit cards. This would have been fine had it been explained. As you can probably guess these mouth breathing morons did not explain it and I wasted $80 in cab fare and was left stranded in some dump of an airport. If you're wondering about presentation of the idiot staff working there, just imagine going to a thrift store dumpster and finding a suit that a bum threw away. This dude was wearing it. He looked like he shaved with a rock and had no respect for military personnel. I've been to plenty of Enterprise Rental sites before and had absolutely no problem renting a car. Not here. If zero stars were an option, this location and the customer service 1-800 number would be getting just that! For starters to not be able to rent a car from any location except the airport on Sundays is the worst thought out business scheme I have ever heard of! Second, when it is not by your choice to have to even rent a car, due to an accident, it is even worse!!! Okay, so you settle and take the bait; make the reservation on line, yet get a phone call as soon as they open to be told, sorry that size and style is not available! And it's 20% of the bill, and since it's an airport we do not work with insurance companies. Go to get the car and all of a sudden it's, "you owe the whole amount plus a $200.00 deposit." And to boot, these lazy b****'s are NOT even at their post to even wait on a potential customer, returning a vehicle customer, or even one such ass my self, a pic up a vehicle customer! Then because you through a little fit for poor customer service, they say we can't rent to you. Can you say lazy!!!! Then your husband tries to rent from them and he's $2.00 short of their "cheapest" vehicle and they refuse to work with you!!!! I love flying in to the Santa Rosa Airport. Every time I fly in the staff knows who I am before I walk up to the counter and they always greet me with a warm "Hello Anita" and a smile. They make sure I have all my bags and escort me to the car. The cars are a short walk out the door. Unless it is raining, then they actually send someone to get the car for you. Horrible experience. We've been renting from Enterprise for years, but this location was terrible. I reserved a sports car (Challenger) 2 months in advance and they didn't have one when we arrived, nor did they have anything comparable. They tried to give us a KIA Forte saying it was comparable. We got out to the car and it was filthy. There were bug guts all over the grill and there was no Sirius XM, which we paid extra for. I told them that it was not going to work for us and they switched us to a Nissan Versa. Also not comparable and also dirty. The guy said it was hard for them to keep black cars clean because they have to use recycled water. At least there was the Sirius XM so we took it. We got a little ways down the road when we realized that the radio volume knob didn't work. Unbelievable. My husband pointed me to the steering wheel volume controls and luckily that worked. When we dropped the car off 3 days later we didn't see signs for where to return it so we parked it in the same spot where we picked it up. I told the agent at the counter and she schooled me on what to do next time. I was like, there won't be a next time. read more

We showed up with our reservation and it was wrong so the guy at the front changed it very fast and then ran out himself washed the car and came right back. this was all done within about 15 min. Great job and way to recover. I buy lot of vehicles from Enterprise every year and they have not let me down, from the rental side and the purchase of brand new car side. read more
