Rental car smelled like cigarettes and marihuana. Radio didn't work and there was a banging noise from the bottom of the car. Car had dents all over it and Enterprise tried to get me to file a claim with my insurance company to repair their junker. Good thing I took pictures of all the previous damage. AVOID!!! read more

I had a great experience here. I was put in a position of needing a rental when a car hit mine. They made sure the other person's insurance increased my allowance for a car to accommodate the size of my family. They were kind and very fast. UPDATE: Still no resolutions even though they asked me to email them. Just getting bounced around and no one really wants to right this wrong. Pathetic. Please people, do NOT go to enterprise. They charged us for insurance even though we didn't want it. We got a Corolla even though we asked for something bigger since we have a family of 5. Since we got a smaller car my husband decided to get insurance on the Corolla for the few days we had it. They took the money out right away which was fine but when we went to go switch out the car for a van we never signed anything or was even asked about insurance, we just switched keys and that was it. A month later a $500+ charge was on our account and we called them several times and always got the response "we will look into it and get back to you". Of course no one called us back so we decided to file a dispute with the bank. Apparently they showed documentation on the VAN contract saying we wanted insurance. Let me remind you, we never signed any paperwork on the van so it appears they copy and pasted out signature and put it on the van contract. Very very shady. So the bank closed our claim and now we are out $500+ . Don't know what to do at this point since enterprise wont talk to us. Pretty shitty business. read more

Had to get some repairs done on my car after a small fender bender. Showed up with no reservation and Yvette was able to assist me. She was able to adjust my rate given my circumstances and I was in and out within 10 minutes of visiting. The service was terrible and they were super rude. I was given a car full of dog hair and it smelt horribly of cigarette smoke. The smell was so bad it reminded me of a casino. They are so unorganized. One person telling me I have to return the car by one date and another saying a different date? Called me saying the car is ready but when I get there it's not??? Unfortunately, my personal car has been in a few accidents that forced me to use this Enterprise location. My first experience, I was given a filthy car that rattled so loudly anytime I went over 40. When I returned the vehicle, they had nothing comparable and I was placed in an older smaller vehicle. On my second experience they had no vehicles in my insurances price range and told me to bring the car back in a week to exchange. I did so with also notifying them the tire light and airbag lights were on. A man told me they still had no cars and to come back. I went back to return it a third time and still they had no vehicles. The same man told me he simply changed my rate so I would not be charged. Upon completion of my personal car, and return of the rental, I was charged for the balance on the vehicle. I'll note as well that I was never sent an email receipt or confirmation of the reservation and I had to ask on multiple occasions weeks later for a printed copy. Save your time and money and use the airport location if you need to use Enterprise. Much more efficient. read more

I thought I just entered a review so this may be my second one only a few minutes apart. Anyway I have been renting cars from the Seaside office since they opened there. It is the only place I will rent from and the only company I will rent from. It is great that they will pick you up and drop you off if needed. I hate to ask people for rides so very happy with that. The employees are very helpful trying to get the car you want. If they can't they will usually give you a upgrade at the same price or close to it. read more

Do not rent from this branch! I reserved a pick-up truck and after I was dropped off there, they tell me the only vehicle they have is a mini-van at rate 2X what my truck quote was. I was stuck so I rented it and the next day took it to another Enterprise dealer and without a reservation, was able to get a truck and they honored my previously quoted rate. Five stars for customer service. Staff is always attentive & friendly. One star for car cleanliness & readiness. We had an appointment scheduled for a 1:30 pickup of a full size vehicle. Arrived shortly after & was given a mid-size car with a car seat, binder & bag of cheese on the back seat. The second mid-size vehicle was dirty too, old magazines between the seats, garbage in the door pockets & a center console with bits of food & drink. Arrived the next day to pickup a car and they said no cars are available and they said they tried to call the number which was a lie because the number they tried calling didn't match up to the number that was printed from their website. If I could give no stars that would be fitting. I had to exchange out a long term rental because the current one had a recall. Rather than taking it to SFO airport they sent me to Seaside. I felt like I was dealing with used car salesmen. I turned in a 2021 Pruis that was awesome and was given a Hyundai Kona that is a a piece of junk. It drives like it's 10 years old and it's a 2020. The steering wheel makes noise and there is something rolling around in it that I can't see.I watched two previous people refuse it. The person helping me must have been new because another guy was telling him what to do. He picked up keys and as we walked out the guy helping him said "what one you giving her?" He said, "the BMW.". Helper guy says, " no give her the Kona!" Not saying I wanted the BmW but they way they other guys spoke made me want to take the Pruis and drive to SFO! Rude! Then a week later I get a call from Enterprise stating they never passed on the new vehicle information. In the future I'll drive the miles to deal with professionals! read more

Good customer support and service. Rented a vehicle here as part of an insurance claim. Everything went well, which is great when working through issues after a collision. Highly recommend renting from the friendly, efficient and accommodating team at Enterprise. I have rented a car from here twice and have had such a wonderful experience both times. Employees are helpful and friendly, even upgraded me for free. I've been able to rent a car at the very last minute, so definitely a lifesaver when I was in a pinch. I was able to return the car a day earlier than I had anticipated. It's a really small location, but they picked me up from the mechanic and made me feel welcome the whole time. The check in process was easy, and I was in the car in less than 10 minutes. There was only one car to choose from, but that's okay, it ended up being a 2019 Nissan Rogue, so it was a very nice ride. When I returned the car, it was once again a very easy process, and I was out of there in a few short minutes. I would highly recommend this location, just don't be expecting a huge parking lot full of cars. read more

When I discovered the car they assigned me did not have Bluetooth capability they quickly changed cars. Everyone I worked with was riendly, prompt and efficient. I needed a rental while my car was being repaired, so I booked with Enterprise Seaside California, mainly because they will pick up customers at repair garages. The young woman that arrived to pick me up, Naomi Hayes, was actually amazing. She was the perfect blend of friendliness professionalism, and attentiveness. Naomi has only been with Enterprise for a few months but she is already a wonderful ambassador for the company. I have hired scores of young people, shortly after their college experience, and I know a good one when I see one. Enterprise is clearly a great picker of people also. read more

I was picked up by Amy at the time she said. I walked into the Echo street location with the room full of customers and the phones ringing with only one employee behind the counter. My thoughts were it's going to be a long wait. It turns out the Manager Ronny was the lone counter person. I observed total professionalism from him. He answered the phones while engaging with each customer in the room. After he took my information, he gave timely updates to all of us. Never letting us feel ignored at anytime. I interacted with three employees during my rental period; Ronny, Amy and Nick These employees demonstrated team work efficiency and total professionalism. I received exception service and I must say they exceeded my expectations. I have rented cars here before, but my experienced this time around deserves the 5 stars rating. read more

Polite. Prompt. The service at the Seaside branch is identical to every other Enterprise I've rented from. However, when attempting to rent a full size vehicle, I was politely informed that unless I had a major credit card on file, my rental car mission would be impossible. Prior to my friendly rejection, the corporate reservation line informed me that my active military service, proofs of financial responsibility, and a deposit could secure the minivan that I needed this week for vacation. I was regretfully, apologetically, so gracefully instructed that the local policy of required consumer debt for full size vehicle rental completely trumps any other claims by the foreign and misguided corporate employees. Mission: vacation. Mission: failed. The requirement that Enterprise employees have a college education makes more sense now than before: it is only a highly educated, well-spoken and well dressed man or woman who can enforce such rigid and unforgiving policy; a policy that I have been constipated to learn is necessary to maintain the nice-guy profits of the vast emerald empire of car rentals known as Enterprise. It also helps customers who have had their dreams crushed walk out the door or hang up the phone with their anger forcefully quenched, and their despair delightfully enflamed. Good job, Enterprise. So, as they have reserved and exercised their right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, I am exercising my right to politely bestow upon them the one-star Yelp review of happy smiles, and backhanded compliments. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! My boyfriend made a reservation where he was told the price would be $280. When we went to return the vehicle he was told the price was $340 NOT $280. Supposedly b/c he's under the age of 25. He told the guy helping him out he knew about the underage extra charge but he was given a final price of $280 NOT $340. He explained he had no problem paying the $340 if they had told him that was the price from the beginning. The person helping him out did NOTHING to resolve the situation. All he said was " I can't do anything" over and over. We knew there was an underage fee;but, we were under the impression it was already charged since we were given a FINAL TOTAL OF $280. My point is if your going to charge an extra fee make sure you let people know the correct amount they will be paying. We'll find another place next time!!! read more
