I took my Honda Odyssey into the Honda dealership down the road for service recently & since my van would be in their service center most of the day they paid for me to get a mini van rental. The Assistant general manager was such a helpful person. We can't give enough thanks to him for helping us out when we needed it the most. We rented from an enterprise in Fresno and they gave us a Chevy Silverado EV to travel across the country in. I called them up and they had a GMC Sierra that was gas! and they were able to do a switch out for us and got us on our way to Minneapolis. We couldn't have been more grateful for them. 5 stars! O Rating. I called ahead of time to avoid any problems. Was told all information was fine. Evidently they will not rent you a vehicle without a utility bill or proof of address. I should have been told this when I first signed up. I I have a PO box that has my current address. Everything I do pay all the above goes to might be a box. I am extremely disappointed but I saved over $200 the fee for having to rent a car. That now I have no place to call to get this thing fixed when it should have been fixed right from the start so that's why you get a zero cuz I try to get you the correct information that you need but you Enterprise in Selma would not work with me. I do not like having all of my information out there for people to look at it's nobody's business they can look at whoever's wants to give their information fine but I like my privacy even though there is no such thing as privacy anymore I can still do my part and not provide all this crappy information I don't care if I don't rent the car I keep my money once again and price you suck because I try to get this information to you ahead of time to avoid this kind of problems but you lose. read more

This place doesn't deserve a star whatsoever. So my brother tried renting a vehicle from this place and Daniel that stated he's the manager looked at my brother up and down and started to judge him based off his tattoos from the time he tried to rent the car. So my mom came and started to rent the car for him and Daniel stated that he could only rent the car to my mom and not my brother because she was using a debit card. And they don't do authorized users. Which is a lie because my parents/other brothers rent and are authorized users. My brother made a comment that he was being a jerk and Daniel pretty much threatened my brother and said, we don't have to rent the car to you all if you keep talking like that. He was still judging him based off his tattoos. Had he have been nicer and not so judge-mental I wouldn't be leaving this review at all. read more

I made a reservation online Sunday March 26th. I called Monday the 27th to arrange a shuttle pickup. I was told that the car I reserved an economy car wasn't available. The only thing available was a full-size car. the person helping me said a reservation and confirmation number meant nothing. I asked could he help me on the daily rental price and was told no. Ive rented from Enterprise many times and on the rare occasion the car I wanted wasn't available Enterprise would rent the car for what I was quoted in the reservation. the person at the Selma Ca Enterprise said no he wouldn't be able to do that. I asked for a pickup and was told no the shuttle wouldn't pick me up because they didn't travel that far. I was according to Google maps 6.2 miles away. the man then said my reservation was at. 8:00am and it was 8:30 am so he wasn't going to rent to me now. Enterprise opens at. 8:00 am i reminded him and I had been on line waiting for 26 minutes before he came on the line. Very poor service . I rented from Alamo no problem and was in and out in 10 minute. read more

The phrase "Enterprise- We'll pick you up" is the company motto. However, it never mentions when they will pick you up! I was told I'd be picked up in 10-15 minutes. Keep in mind I'm only four miles from Enterprise. It literally took an hour before anyone even showed up. I called the office three times and each time I was told the driver would be there shortly. This enterprise has gone downhill over the years. I rented from them all the time and they had great customer service, but over the past 6 months they have been AWFUL. The worst experience I had was just last week... my car was at the dealership for repair and although a reservation was made for me, Enterprise did not have a car for me when I arrived. Staff said I should have been there at 9am, but they failed to inform the dealership and me about that. They had all my contact information but did not call to see if I needed to be picked up or if I even needed a vehicle at all. So instead of reserving me a midsize vehicle (which is what I drive daily and is a requirement for the dealership to pay for my rental), they allowed all of their cars to be rented by other people. I ended up with a huge V8 truck which is not at all gas efficient like my car! I have NO problem driving a truck, but was not prepared to have that gas expense ON TOP of the repair expense for my car. When I returned the truck and explained the situation to the manager, she refused to compensate me for the ridiculous amount of money I had to spend on gas in a truck that the dealership did not request for me. She told me it was their responsibility to reimburse me... but it definitely is not. They did their part by reserving a midsize vehicle, providing Enterprise with my contact information, and a P.O. for the rental... which Enterprise also tried to charge me for upon pick up! Enterprise rental car had the worse service, full of lazy workers who don't do anything. First time I came here I was standing in the office by myself for a half hour for anyone to show up to help me. An empty office, phones ringing, nobody around. When I dropped off the car and had my friend wait a half hour in the parking lot to pick me up because they move so slow. They tell me don't worry next time we will just drop you off at your house and your friend doesn't have to wait. I go today and they say they don't drop people off that don't live right by the office. They had my address on their computer when they offered the ride. I had waste $18 on a Lyft, would have asked a friend and not wasted the money if these morons would have mentioned their service was limited. read more

Seven reasons to avoid this place. I recently had the displeasure of renting a car at Enterprise in Selma. This was just over a month after renting from Hertz on Blackstone in Fresno. Let me tell ya, I would hitchhike to Fresno before I would rent a car at Enterprise in Selma again. First; Upon being picked up at the auto body shop I was informed by the driver that instead of leaving the vehicle at the auto body shop when I was finished with it, they would prefer if I brought it back and they give me a ride to get my vehicle (instead of the customary drop the vehicle at the shop and they pick it up when done.) Second; They gave me one choice of vehicle, yeah like "take this it's the only one we have" which I guess was really the "take it or leave it" choice. No economy cars just a Chevy Equinox. Third; The vehicle was dirty, as in filthy dirty mud on the outside. Fourth; As I was driving home I looked down and the 1/4 tank of gas they told me I had was really below empty! Normally not one to cause a stink I had a momentary lapse of good judgement and thought about gassing it up myself but then decided, heck no. What is the chance of taking a vehicle back, especially one that you do not know well, on EMPTY and risk running out of gas? You think they are going to credit you a few bucks for gas if you leave more than that in the tank? Not!!!! I saw this as a ploy to get free gas from an unwitting customer. Fifth; I took the vehicle back to complain about the gas (or lack thereof), walked in the office and the same person that helped me is giving a customer 3 choices of vehicles! Economy vehicles which I too had asked for! This is less than 10 minutes after I rented my vehicle! When the attendant was finished and the office cleared out I explained I had returned because I was below empty on gas. However I calmly explained that I was very disappointed in hearing them give the gentleman that just left 3 choices of vehicles. I was told that "he had a reservation" and I did not. Therefore he had his choice of "reserved" vehicles. (Yeah sucker how dare you expect service without a reservation). (Not a quote, added for color). Sixth; I was told they would gas it up but they only had a small amount on their credit card tab and could only put in 1/4 tank of gas. Seventh, When I returned the vehicle 8 days later I was told their driver was out and would be back in 10 minutes which turned into a half an hour. Bottom line, these people really think they have the market cornered in this small town and well they may. They are arrogant and cocksure. If you can at all help it, go to Hertz in Fresno and avoid Enterprise in Selma and their pompous, uncaring, take it or leave it, attitudes. read more

I will definitely be back to rent from Enterprise in Selma. Ambur was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in showing me the bells and whistles on the Santa Fe I rented to get to Reno. I was in and out quickly. The location is easy access on/off Highway 99. read more

I do a whole lot of traveling, most of the time monthly and I prefer to not put the wear and tear on my personal car so I rely on Enterprise heavily! I've had nothing but positive experiences here from the first time I booked. The cars I've requested have always been available, ready and clean for my pick-up! It's so refreshing to go into a place of business and see smiling faces that are always willing to go above and beyond for you! The professionalism does not go unnoticed. Called at 3:45 today because I broke down with my 3 kids on side of freeway . I reserved a car and asked for a shuttle I was told I would be picked up by 4:15 . At 4:30 I call and speak to them and they were confused and said no one was on the way blaming it on the reservation person ! Long story short I had to call the tow truck to come back and pick up my kids and I and drop us off to rent the car ! If I didn't need a car to get home I would of went somewhere else to rent , but since everywhere closes at 5-5:30 I had no choice ! I've rented with this company for years and I'm seriously done never again ! This will be my last time renting ! I appreciate the courtesy of not calling me to say no one is coming for us and my children ages 2,7 and 9 and I getting sunburned from standing on side of the freeway ! Thankfully I called myself and I find it unprofessional to blame someone else. I can't speak highly enough of Enterprise in Selma. The staff have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help me out when renting a car. They've always been on time when I've requested to be picked up and will always drop me off at home after I've returned a car. I've leased cars from Chevy Spark to a Chrysler Town and Country and everything in between and every car ran well and was in fantastic condition. Kevin the manager and his staff really do a fantastic job. I no longer live in the area however if I needed to lease a car again I would definitely choose Enterprise in Selma. read more

It was extremely frustrating to deal with Selma Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I had to call 3 times to make a reservation, and even after the 3 calls, they would not agree to meet at a specified time. They made me call after I arrived at the body shop where we were to meet, even though the location was 20 minutes away from Enterprise. When I arrived at the body shop, and made the requisite 4th call, they then said they had no car available for me. I had to obtain a ride home from someone else, and they said they would bring the car to my home by 11:00 am so I could make it to work on time. The car did not arrive until after 11:30. Then when it was time to return the car, they promised to pick me up at the body shop, but when I called, they said I would have to wait 1.5 hours before they could leave their site to pick up the car. I left it at the shop, and they said they would pick it up the next morning. The next day I got a call from Enterprise asking me to bring in the car, as insurance would not cover it past today.
