I called Acab and they were able to pick up my family and take to a motel. Then later after AAA did not respond when they were supposed again- 12:15 AM, the cab co was able to come pick me up and take to the motel. The owner/driver was able to find one of the local constables and we relayed to them that our van was broke down and we would be taking care of it tomorrow and to not have us towed. They also gave me quick run down of the city and where the fine eating establishment were. They know the area well. Big thanks to them.

They always meet us at the house to welcome us back, let us know about what is new in the area, leave us treats or fresh flowers and are always very responsive if we need a new tank of propane or have an issue. We have rented a few different homes from them and are always very impressed at how clean the houses are. The attention to detail from the housekeeping staff and little touches are noticed throughout the houses. We know we can start our vacation the minute we walk through the door and not have to worry about cleaning. We were told that there were enough spots for 2 vehicles and would have to be parked someplace else (they did provide a suggestion where) none of our friends wanted to do that. We had 2 couples drive together and 1 couple drove separate. One couple made a whole day out of it and they brought their bikes and got there 1 hour earlier then I had explained that check in was. I asked for an earlier check in and a later check out and was denied because they claimed they had renters before us and after us but when I checked that was not the case on the Airbnb website. This is what gets me the most, I asked for 1 extra roll of toilet paper just in case we had 6 adults so did not want to run short. Denied was told that they supply what they rationed was 3 rolls of toilet paper and anything extra is on us. You pay $1,800 for 2 nights and you can't ask for more toilet paper? At a hotel you can! The day of the check out we were 30 minutes late checking out and we were bombarded with phone calls, emails, text messages that we're late checking out and we must exit asap that their maid was outside waiting to clean the place because it's rented right after us (again a lie) don't worry we gave your cleaning lady got $20.00 for her time. It's absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered in hospitality. They have nice properties listed, but don't count on your vacation sticking. We received an *email* two weeks before our rental that it was canceled due to "scheduling issues." (It had been reserved since November for week in July.) That's it, no call, no explanation, and no effort to try to remedy the situation. Despite the email saying we would receive a full refund, we have not. I have left over a dozen voicemails and no one has returned my calls.
