The State of Florida recently switched their car rental agreement from one of the other big car rental agencies to Enterprise / National. As this Enterprise location is the closest to me, off I went to get my car for a business trip that starts tomorrow. The first thing we noticed is that the rental facility is far nicer inside than I would have expected. Clean, lots of windows, well lit. Sets a nice tone. And the counter staff were friendly and helpful. They quickly processed my rental paperwork for me and we were walking to take a look at the car in under 10 minutes. When I saw that the car only had manual seat controls, I asked if there was something with electric controls (no, I am not a car-seat-control snob. I have a bad lower back and being able to adjust the seat while driving, especially in a rental, helps make sure I can minimize any lower back pain). The agent quickly looked at the other cars in the lot, saw one with electric controls, and switched my original car for that one. Great customer service! The car was a 2015 and clean (and when the cars were not clean, I saw that the desk agents would run out and take them to the car wash station themselves so that the new renter could quickly be on their way and not have to wait). The only reason I am not making this a 5 star review is because I want to see how the actual rental car is during my trip. I'll post an update when I get back. read more

Business is good - if not a little too good. I have had excellent service both times that I have been a customer here, and have found decent pricing (good for a non-airport location) and good cars. One thing that is a little interesting to me is that both times it took a prolonged amount of time to process my reservation and get me a car (which they were low on both times). So in other words, good place, but add 30 minutes or so on to your reservation time in terms of leaving the lot. read more

I've had a very pleasant experience with this Enterprise location. I was in need of a car while my car was in the shop so my insurance set everything up for me. Pickup took less than two minutes and upon a drop-off I used the key dropbox so it took seconds. Every time I called to ask a question about my rental I was greeted by a happy voice willing to answer any questions I had. Our tennis team was left with no transportation from Enterprise for a weekend out-of-town trip in March. We reserved three vans, but there were none available. The only response we got was "sorry.' We had to scramble to provide our own vehicles to make the trip happen. We were, however, given three free vans for our next trip out of town. That was greatly appreciated. read more

Awful customer service. Racist staff. If you are not black do not expect to be treated well. I have had people taken ahead of me just because they were friends of the racist staff. I have been renting cars from them about 4 times a year for three years and the service keeps getting worse and worse. The wait time is forever, sometimes they say they have no cars eventhough you have a reservation and the cars are not cleaned well. They have no sense of customer loyalty. Ever since they got some contract with the state they no longer care about keeping regular customers. Complaining does no good. If you ask to speak to a manager, everyone says that they are a manager. I will not be going back. read more

On Monday night around 10 pm, my husband went to gas my car up, comes back and tells me there is a noise in the front wheel, he didn't trust it to drive to JAX's and back. Got on line with Enterprise, they hooked us right up! Arranged for us to pick the car up early! Great service on pick up and return. I've had a reservation for over a week. At the 11th hour it's all switch and bait. Not only do they not have the vehicle I reserved for the long planned move they also inform me they won't pick me up as was the agreement when I made the reservation. These people are a wasteland of shameful behavior. Everything Enterprise "says" they will do, is all for not at this location. read more

Attempted to make a last minute reservation online for weekend travel. Upon visiting the website I was instructed to contact the store for availability. Called the store, was greeted by Austin who answered the phone. Austin was able to accommodate my last minute travel plans and advised if anything came up he would be sure to call and let me know. Of course, the inevitable occurred the rental wasn't going to be back on time for my weekend trip. Austin was sure to communicate that with me in a timely manner, but I had already arrived at his location the moment he found out the rental wouldn't be ready. I truly appreciated the courtesy call and accommodation of changing the vehicle that was provided for the inconvenience. The employees of this location, especially Austin, exuded a high quality of professionalism and I look forward to working with them in the future for all of my travel needs! read more

This has been the absolute worst rental experience that I have ever had!! I was told that a vehicle would be ready for me at 10am the following morning so I made an 11:30am appointment. When I got there they did not have any vehicles. I kept being promised that I was "next." I didn't get a call until 30 minutes before they closed for the day just for them to tell me that I wouldn't be getting a vehicle until the next day after waiting the entire day even though I was promised a vehicle at 10am that morning. This has been a huge inconvenience. I would recommend avoiding this location at all costs!! Especially if you actually have plans. read more

I reserved my vehicle over 5 months in advance. On the day of my scheduled reservation (pick-up time 12pm) at approximately 11:20 I received a call from am employee at the business advising they did not have any vehicles and would not have any for my scheduled pick-up time. The employee stated they "possibly" might have a vehicle sometime after 3pm. When I received the call I was already on my way to the business. When I arrived at the business, I did not even receive an apology from the manager who was at the front desk dealing with vehicle rentals (note : there were 3 employees sitting in plain site laughing and joking but not assisting with the customers inside the lobby of the business). The manager reinerated there were no vehicles and that I would receive a call if one comes available. I was not offered a smaller vehicle (reserved a SUV) and basically looked at it as my hotel reservation and vacation meant nothing to them. Had I cancelled my hotel reservation I would have been charged for the reservation. I left the business and later received a call advising a vehicle was available. Upon arriving I was issued the smalleat SUV I have ever seen. The vehicle was partially cleaned ( interior and exterior) and had less than a half a tank of gas. I have done business with this enterprise branch for years and my past 3 rentals have been almost the same. On one of my previous rentals when I was told there were no vehicles, I was told by one of the employees that the reason there were no vehicles was because they have a contract with the state and the state employees had taken all the vehicles. Which just lets me know the business cares more about their state contract than regular/loyal customers. read more

On more than one occasion, I have arrived at this location with a confirmed reservation, but no cars were available. On 3/30/16 I had to wait 45 minutes after my reservation time for a car. When traveling for business, this is extremely problematic. The staff member was apologetic and tried his best to remedy the situation, but that is hard to do when there is no car. read more

On August 16th, I placed a reservation for 2 mini vans to be picked up at Noon on 9/6/18. Conf #'s 1270986376 & 1270986334. These were to take a cross country team to Live Oak, Florida for a competition. I arrive at 11:40 AM to pick up the vans. We only needed one. Well...No vans. At 1 PM, still no vans. Because of this, we were unable to make the trip. I had to cancel the trip as we would not have made it in time for the start. No solution was offered. No apology was made. There were 3 to 4 other workers sitting at their desks playing some smart-phone game, laughing, and having a good time. No one showing any concern or care about finding a solution. I thought I was a valued customer. The area manager (256) 710 - 8608 has not returned my call (it's now 5:45). I have 13 other reservations for the remainder of the season in which I will cancel. I do not appreciate their apathetic attitude for the situation as my student athletes missed out on an opportunity due to Enterprise's unprofessionalism. Now, time to waste more of my time to make reservations with AVIS and do some Enterprise cancellations. read more

The staff at Enterprise has been so helpful in providing my rental car needs for business and pleasure trips. I recently missed my appointment to pick up a car for an important holiday trip. When I arrived the last car had been rented out. However, the staff told me my name would be on a waiting list. I was quite nervous and saw my trip plans evaporating because no one in Tallahassee had a car available. However, within an hour, I received a call from the staff. My family ended up with two cars for our trip. Thanks to that great young lady behind the counter, I made it to my hotel and to the Panther-Falcon football game on schedule.
