One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The branch manager here should absolutely not be in a position that deals with customers. I asked a simple question about overcharges on my bill, and instead of acting like a professional, he immediately spoke down to me like I was stupid and then started raising his voice. Zero respect, zero customer service skills. When I asked for his name so I could report the situation, he refused and said, "Good luck reporting me, I am the boss." That level of arrogance alone tells you exactly how things are run here. What made it even worse is that I actually saw him having a similar issue with another customer when I first picked up the rental. So this clearly isn't a one-time bad moment -- this is just how he treats people. Then as I was leaving the parking lot, he literally yelled after me that he was going to charge me extra fees and smiled about it like it was funny. Completely unprofessional, aggressive, and honestly pretty disturbing behavior coming from someone representing a business. If management acts like this when customers ask legitimate questions about charges, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. I made a reservation to rent a car when I visited buffalo to drop my son off for college, that I needed to have 2 forms of identification for the rental. I do not have a major credit card, I expressed that over again with the agent. No problem he said with a $300 deposit and 2 forms of identification. I uber there and was now told I have to live in NY for that to apply. Wasted $60 on uber. Customer service was zero. Enterprise please train your employees to listen and know policy. read more

Made reservation for full size pickup two months in advance. They didn't have one avail for me when I went to pick it up! Car they gave me had bald tires, windshield washer spray on driver side didn't work, cruise control only worked half the time! Manager said he would refund half my money, which he did...then 2 days later recharged me that amount! Now manager won't take my calls or call me back! Disgraceful! read more

I was impressed with the manager Josh. Very helpful and respectful. I was able to get a good deal on a weekly rental. Josh went over the details of my rental agreement with me and explained different options. I had an issue with the car's tire pressure. I went back and explained what the problem was. Josh took the car filled the tires and also washed the car. He gave me tips on what to do with the vehicle in case there was any problems and said to call if there was any problem. There wasn't and i feel comfortable using Enterprise and his Sheridan Drive location. I also had good customer service from John with the same tire pressure issue. I am quite sure you will get the same friendly professional service and support as I was afforded. Thanks guys read more

First off,...We are currently in the middle of getting our car fixed at Gabes collision because of a hit-and-run. (We caught the driver). We have had our rental car from enterprise for 35 days. Luckily the other drivers insurance is paying the bill. Long story,... we recently had a newborn daughter and my wife was on maternity leave. The morning of the accident was my wife's first day back to work. I spoke with Josh over the phone (store manager), and he was extremely helpful. Because it was my wife's first day back to work, we needed a vehicle right away and we did not exactly have the time to go pick it up and move car seats. Josh was able to deliver the rental to our house while I was on daddy day care duty. If you ever need a rental or you get into an accident, be sure to speak with Josh! 5-STAR service. We are still waiting for our vehicle to be fixed but Josh was also there when I needed to speak with him about an issue with the rental. I'm sure it will go smoothly when we return the rental as well. read more

Very negative experience at this location. Cars were filthy and in disrepair. When asked to switch to a clean car, I was treated like I was being difficult. For $45 a day, a clean car in good mechanical order is not inappropriate to expect. Will not return to this location. read more

My first and last personal experience with Enterprise. After being in an accident I was told by the insurance company to get a rental car while my vehicle was in the shop. I took the advice and went with Enterprise. I gave all the claim information to the representative. Fast forward a couple weeks, I get my Lexus back and as I assumed everything was taken care of. Today I checked my bank account just to find out Enterprise withdrew over $400! Upon setting up the rental car, the representative told me Geico will pay $25 a day and there would be no charge to me unless I was in an accident or did not fill up the gas. I immediately called and spoke with Assistant Manager Jake, at first he was very apologetic but then told me that Geico will not pay for the charges. I told the gentleman that this should have been figured out before i was given a rental car and accrued charges of over $400. Jake could care less and did not want to help my situation and when I expressed that he fraudulently took money from me, his response was we are a billion dollar company we have many lawyers. Absolutely horrific customer service. I then called Geico and they were NOT AWARE of any of this!!! Within 10 minutes the Geico representative had it all straightened out and paid. Jake from Enterprise just had to take an extra step and reach out to Geico and this could have all been avoided. As for managerial skills I would give Jake 0 stars and for Customer service I would give him also a 0. NEVER WILL I USE ENTERPRISE AND I WILL SPREAD THE BAD WORD!! GOOD JOB JAKE! This is my first time renting a car - well, actually the first two times, so I'm becoming an expert quickly. This location is convenient for me, but it also turns out to be really nice and friendly. The person who has been working has always been energetic, descriptive, friendly, and helpful. I always feel welcome and positive. It's also a nice location since the traffic isn't so bad, so you can get your car legs on (I don't drive often, so I want a grace period when I get on the road). The cars I've gotten have both been clean, well-kept, and functional - and that's what I'd like out of a rental car. I also find them to be some of the cheapest rentals in Buffalo. A great, fair price - a friendly employee - and working cars. A win in my book! read more

Terrible experience and terrible customer service. I came in January to rent a car after being in an accident. The branch manager, Joel Jachimowicz rented a car to me. He said it would be fine to return the car after hours on the return date. Having never rented a car before, I took his word on this and thought it would be fine. I had a witness follow me to the enterprise location and drop off the car on the return date. We checked over the car, left it in the parking lot & dropped the keys in the key drop. The following day I had 7 missed calls and no voicemails from the enterprise location. I called the number back and got Joel the manager on the line and asked why he called me so many times with no messages. He said there was damage to the car (a dent) and that he needed my insurance information immediately. I was hesitant to hand over any insurance information without understanding what exactly had happened and what my options were. I told Joel there was no dent when I dropped the car off and asked what can be done in a situation like this. He said I was liable no matter what. I said it was an extremely windy night (high wind warnings were in effect) and how do I know this wasn't done in your parking lot. Joel then suggested we could watch the security footage. I was extremely pleased with this option/suggestion. Joel then agreed to call me back with a time when we could view the security footage. Joel did not call me back as promised with a time to view security footage. Instead, he texted me from a random phone number without permission and said "looks like state farm is not your insurance provider". I asked him to call me back, when we spoke I said 1) please do not text me 2) why are you looking into my insurance provider without my permission when we left off with you setting up a time for us to view security footage. Joel then proceeded to tell me there are no cameras. I asked why he would ever suggest that in the first place then. He had no good explanation. This is UNACCEPTABLE behavior by someone labelled a manager. The manager assured me dropping off the car after hours was okay. Obviously I have learned my lesson and will never do such a thing again and now realize what can happen if you don't drop off during business hours. The manager also demanded my insurance information immediately without explaining that I actually had other options I could look into. The manager also told a lie and suggested we could view security footage. The manager also looked into my insurance information without my permission before following up to tell me he lied and there are no cameras. I have since looked into options ON MY OWN and filed a claim with my credit card as a service they commonly provide. An option the MANAGER should have told me I had before demanding my insurance information. Joel should be reprimanded or fired for his behavior and enterprise should contact me to right this wrong. You can't email a formal complaint anywhere because all they have is online customer complaint forms where you can write 1 paragraph of feedback. Enterprise also sent me a letter in the mail that said it included an overview of it's claims procedures & important insurance/credit card information that could be useful. The letter included NONE of this information just a blank page where it should be. I also have never received a Final Rental Agreement or an Estimate or repairs in order to submit for my claim. I will never use enterprise again and will make sure friends & family know about my experience and avoid using enterprise at all costs. read more

After renting a car at Alamo at the Buffalo airport and being totally unhappy with the counter service and car we were given (The Enterprise desk was closed) we tried to exchange cars the next day and were sent to the Niagara Falls airport to pick up a Mini Van or SUV (both were sitting in the parking lot.) But, we get there and they won't rent us either vehicle because they are on "hold" for people that "might" arrive at the private airport. I was soooo frustrated, why did they send us all the way to Niagara Falls?? Right up the street was an Enterprise office (which owns Alamo). So we stopped in and the manager was rude and said that he had nothing to rent us and would not help. So, not wanting to give up, I found a mini van on Enterprises app at the Tonawanda location. I went there and George was AMAZING!! He literally saved our vacation with his expert customer service. As a LONG time Enterprise customer George's customer service skills are what I had come to expect from Enterprise and was not getting on this trip. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Do NOT sign up for the $2.99/gallon pre-pay gas for when the car is returned. I asked several times "is there a catch?" when signing up, since it seemed odd that I could just return the car, not fill up the gas tank, and they will only charge $2.99/gallon. I was told there was no catch. Well, of course there is a catch, and I have no one to blame by myself. After the car was returned, I was charged $32 for gas. Seemed very high for 150 miles. When I called to ask for an explanation, I was told for the first time that when you sign up for the $2.99/pre-pay option, you are signing up for a WHOLE TANK of gas, regardless of how much gas I used. What an absurd policy - I should have known there was a catch. Of course, I was not offered an apology, but was told repeatedly that 1) they will always tell people about the policy when they sign up and 2) no refunds. I was not told this when I signed up, even though I explicitly asked if there was a catch, since there was no way I would pay for a full tank of gas knowing full well I would barely use a half tank. But even after this charade, instead of receiving an apology, I was told that it is their policy to explain this to customers (regardless of what my experience was) and it was emphasized there were no refunds. So they have an absurd policy, they conceal the policy, then fail to offer an apology -- only a reminder that there are no refunds. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere -- based on the fraudulent concealment of their pay upfront gas policy and the very poor customer service. read more

The guy took all my information the week before as I stopped in instead of calling and for some reason never actually sent it. Who knows. Complete inconvenience, especially since I was on a schedule. The one worker never got off her cell phone, while the worker to helped me seemed like he would rather be anywhere else but there. $300 hold if you use a credit card or paystubs from work if you use a debit card is ridiculous especially for just a 2 day rental that cost $60. And a friend who rented from them the week previously had no deposit at all. (We are both in the 25+ age group) Would never attempt to rent from here again. read more
