Shoutout to Hector for always being a great manager!! Around summer of last year my insurance got me a big 'ol SUV to use and I told Hector that I wasn't comfortable with driving something big so he told me he could get me something smaller when it comes in; got me a nice sedan that same day and had for almost a month and if it wasn't for him I would've been miserable driving that SUV. Fast forward to last week he remembered me from last time and the same scenario played out; got an SUV, told him I wasn't comfortable with it, told me to wait and he got me another sedan!! Hector definitely is that guy that has your back! All you need is a bit of patience and some communication. Emphasis on the patience cus it's a rental place, stuff happens, you can't expect everything to happen on time/perfectly. And please be nice to the staff, it goes a long way!! Got a rental for a day from here! Small enterprise shop where you can rent cars. This location is small, I'm curious how big their rental fleet is. I rented a Rav4 2024 while my Rav4 2025 is being serviced. The staffs were super friendly and knowledgeable of their cars on the lot. Interior of the store is pretty much empty. They told me to have a seat while they're preparing the rental car. There's 5 chairs that's awkwardly placed against two walls. Would be cool if they included a couch and coffee table rather than an empty floor. Had good experience renting a car here. read more

Review #833 2025-002 I had a car accident (was rear ended) just before Thanksgiving, so it wasn't convenient to drop-off my car for repairs, not thinking about the option for a car rental because I was trying to be considerate with the other party's expenses. I was able to leave my car mid-December for repairs & was told there was additional structural damage behind the bumper that would require a few more days in the body shop & Honda's estimator recommended Enterprise Rent-A-Car in case my car wasn't ready in time for my Christmas trip; 12/24 ETD. I contacted the other party's insurance to obtain/submit a reservation # to the Torrance location. I spoke with Diana to follow-up on the 12/24 reservation, which was a middle-sized vehicle that's similar to mine. I just needed to provide my driver's license & $100 refundable deposit that's returned after the rental is turned in. She confirmed that they're open until 6:00 PM Christmas Eve, which gave me plenty of time for pick-up. Luckily, my repairs were completed that morning & I called to cancel the reservation, even though she said it wasn't necessary. I was first exposed to Enterprise Rent-A-Car Eagle Rock location (4201 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles 90065) when I rented a Kia Sephia for my 21st birthday road trip. It was one of my best memories for my vacation, & even thought about considering a Sephia for purchase when it came time. Pick-up & drop-off was relatively easy from Chinatown with excellent customer service. While I didn't need a car rental at the Torrance location, customer service was still reminiscent of those early days. Don't expect any kind of great customer service from this branch. They don't inspect the vehicles before renting them out-I suggest you do it yourself. The manager Jonathan is brand new and acts like. It's sad to see how the customer service has gone down hill and it's become just a paycheck for so many employees. Enterprise used to be such a great company to rent from. We complained to corporate about the numerous issues we had with this location and hopefully they work toward providing better customer service and putting someone knowledgeable into management at this location. Not happy that we drive all the way over there to return the car when Yelp listed them as open on a Saturday at 1pm. Needless to say they were NOT open so we had to pay ANOTHER DAY and come back the following day. I arrived to enterprise today at 1:10pm to pick up my vehicle that I reserved at 12:00pm. I did not receive any call or message advising me that my rental was already taken. I drove an hour away just to pick up this rental to not be advised of anything that went on. once I arrived a female associate with blonde hair, glasses, and Caucasian was inattentive, rude, and uncaring. We had advised her why we were late but all she said was " your reservation was at 12:00pm I can look and see what we have." We waited for about 40 minutes for her to not let us know anything until we took matters into our own hands and left to another company. read more

I rented a car through Enterprise while my vehicle was being repaired. Mel helped me with my rental. The car I originally rented was not quiet ready. Mel upgraded me for the same price and put me in a car right away. Because the rear seats had stains, he pointed that out and accommodated me with a discount. I appreciated that. I've always had a pleasant experience here. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Armando picked me up from Ron's Auto Body today and it was so fun chatting with this gentleman in the car. I have used this place a couple times when my insurance sends me here for a rental while my car is at the body shop. I'm not picky about car options but the staff is always very accommodating and patient with me. David was very quick today, while keeping his cool manning the front desk by himself. Literally phones were ringing and he has people in line and he was able to juggle it all without giving anyone any attitude. #WorkGoals! Be warned that they typically only carry SUVs at this location though, they have a couple of sedans but those gets picked up pretty early I think. On top of this, they setup their car wash area in a parking spot and allow people to return cars by taking handicap spots. Had a reservation for a car here . When I received the vehicle today it was very dirty inside . Nothing was cleaned out . Seats where stained . Car was not vacuumed . Doors had sticky stuff on them . This is a car I'm going to be using to transport my children and both cars they were offering me were dirty . I picked the best one and headed out because I had to leave . But I would expect a car to be handed out at least decently cleaned . Tank was half empty . I've been to other enterprises and this has never happened . read more

It is what it is. Decent rates, random cars, overbearing policies, decent facilities, pleasant staff. If your only experience is airport car rental, you might find the Enterprise process a bit frustrating. Yes, they'll pick you up, but you can't make an appointment on a Friday for a Monday. Perhaps an online system triggered by your online reservation? My car was a Chevy Cruze with 43K miles on it with a slight smell of air freshener covering smoke. Not cool. The lesson is to proactively ask at the desk early in the process, "what's available in my class?" Once your steed is selected, there's an extensive walk around noting all of the existing blemishes. My last few airport rentals were so much better. I was able to take my pick of about four different cars parked in Row H or whatever. I tried a few on for size before I found one I liked. No blemish walk around. read more

This is second hand. My wife and sister-in-law drove a rented Enterprise car from Petaluma to Harris Ranch in 100+ degree heat. After an 1 1/2 hr drive the AC died so they had to survive for another 1 1/2 hrs to there destination. The Enterprise franchises in Lemore and Vasalia both REFUSED to help out and change out the car. So the next day they had to drive again in 100+ degree temp to LAX for 2 1/2 hrs WITHOUT AC where I picked them up. It took another week to get the issue fixed with a 50% rebate on the charge. I'm not sure that was enough to cover their discomfort but it was better than fighting for a full refund for weeks and months. I driven Enterprise for many years and NEVER had this lack of concern from the staff. I recommend AGAINST patronizing the Enterprise units in Lemore or Visalia. The staff in each of these places SUCKS majorly. read more

I just experienced true customer service. I had to drop my car off at Scott Robinson auto body for repair. My husband and I were planning on jogging home and then drive to pick up a rental for me. I was surprised by Enterprise associate Nayzette Martinez. She made everything so easy for us. I only had my drivers license no credit card on me since I was going to jog home. Nayzette said no problem where do you live about 10 minutes away. She drove us home I grabbed my credit card we finished the rental agreement on her Enterprise I Pad dropped her off of at Scott Robinson. Easy peasy. Nayzette gave me her number to contact her with any questions or problems. Two days later I found out repair would take considerably longer. Texted Nayzette with update she took care of everything. Technology and excellent customer service with someone who obviously loves their job and understands how stressful being in a car accident and subsequent repairs. She was a dream and made the whole process less stressful. You can't believe how much her customer service reduced my stress level and allowed me to return to work and stop worrying about everything. I've used this enterprise because its close to the body shop where I have my car fixed. Even though the turn over on employees is high at enterprise, they seem to have them well trained and always dialed in. They do go the extra mile for you. One of the guys drove to San Pedro location to get a car for me that I am interested in buying . Now I get to drive it for 10 days to see if I truly love the it before I drop a wad of cash on a car. We had an issue with my husband be added as an additional driver to a company car my sister in-law supposed to lease, so we made a last decision of renting from this rental company as per recommendation by the family who had used their company. In the beginning, we were turned off with their service. They were not able to pick us up from our current location to their location as the customer rep said that they have a branch that closer to our location that could do that. That's a big thumbs down. Aren't they supposed to live with their company mission that they could pick up and drop off their customers in case they need a ride wherever they are sitiuated. Anyway, we understand that it might be a company protocol, but when we called the other location which is around 8 am ,they cant do the pick up until like 1 PM which doesnt meet our needs that we need the car by 11 am. Our expectation from this company during that period was not met. What a turn off for an out-of-state guests who were relying for their customer service. We tried again this branch. They have an available car for us and we could have it rented even before our reservation time... we just need to figure out a ride going to their location(which is the problem in the beginning). I was wondering why they can't give us a pick up service, it was just like less than 3 miles away when we arrive there. When we retun the car over that weekend, a different associate helped us. We found her knowledgeble, helpful and friendly. She helped us get through with our concerns about the toll experience. We were not aware that in CA, you need to pay the toll fee through a website. In NY even in FL, a unit should be part of the rental package just in case we need to pass through a toll lane or there's always been at least one cash lane in case it is needed. The total rental charge was unexpectedly low. Not much questions or doubts ehen we return the car. That is when we feel satisfied with the company. A smile was put back to our faces. Will probably use the same company when we return for a family visit. read more

He would text you and ask how you're rental went and actually take the time to fix whatever you weren't happy with. This person named Deb is the supposed Branch Manager now and she's USELESS! She's condescending and doesn't let you explain yourself, talks over you and to top it off, she lies to your face. I had to rent a car at another location! The tire pressure light was on! I stopped at this location and reported it! Right away-not one, but two guys were at my Service. They got out an instrument that measures a cars tire pressure. Sure enough the tire pressure was dangerously low!! All 4 tires were deflated and looked flat! Got there in the parking lot a few minutes before they opened on a Saturday and one of the employees (DJ Guerrero) came up to me with a friendly smile . He offered to process our rental immediately even though they're not officially opened yet. The whole rental process took less than 10 minutes (van was ready and clean). Appreciated the prompt service since we needed to leave asap for our trip. The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Limited was top of the line and was so nice to drive. Return process was also a breeze. Once again, DJ came out as soon as he saw me and processed the return within 5 minutes. Very easy process and love conversing with DJ! My personal experience with this Enterprise was excellent! I called to confirm early if I am within reach of their pick-up service. They said I just made the cut off! The driver who picked me up was friendly and welcoming. When I arrived I was greeted by two gentlemen, David Lopez and Will Ragus. I got my rental processed without any surprise fees or quotes. I rented a small Nissan Note, it was reasonably clean and had a full tank. With the return it was just as smooth, with the same employees as when I rented the car. Not sure why they have other reviews with vastly different experiences than mine, but my own personal service was great. I believe that to receive good customer service you as a customer also need to conduct yourself well too. I would definitely rent from this location again. read more
