Fast forward to last week he remembered me from last time and the same scenario played out; got an SUV, told him I wasn't comfortable with it, told me to wait and he got me another sedan!! Hector definitely is that guy that has your back! All you need is a bit of patience and some communication. Emphasis on the patience cus it's a rental place, stuff happens, you can't expect everything to happen on time/perfectly. And please be nice to the staff, it goes a long way!! My car had a broken mirror and it's hard for me to believe this was "torn down " just to get a quote for a replacement mirror. The quote was $2400 to simply replace the mirror. Once I was tricked into proceeding and the car was almost ready, I was then told they needed to send it outside to reconnect the sensor, which would take another day. 30 minutes later the car was miraculously ready for pickup. When I finally got my car, the price went all the way up to $3400 without any notification of the increase ! This feels like a total rip off because the repair was covered by insurance. I've used Sam's Autoland many times before I but will not be returning.
