After reading their great reviews, I decided to give them a try, and I'm glad I did! I was helped and accommodated right away. I had reserved a Toyota Camry or similar, but when I arrived, I was informed that they didn't have any sedans available at the moment. Instead, they upgraded me to a 2025 Chevy Trailblazer crossover SUV at the same price :) Since the office was closed on Monday for the holiday, I was initially told that I would need to pay for an extra day because I wouldn't be able to return the car until Tuesday. However, they advised me to speak with the manager or staff when I returned the vehicle since the situation wasn't my fault. The car itself was practically brand new, very clean, and performed great throughout our trip. When I returned the car at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, I explained the situation to the employee assisting me. He immediately told me that I would only be charged for the days I actually used the vehicle. Since I returned it first thing in the morning, they waived the additional day's charge without any hassle. Overall, my experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, honest, and accommodating, and the rental process was quick and easy. But when you telephone the number on the webpage, they give you an address in Gardena at 1244 132nd St. I rented a Prius on June 6, 2022 from them for a period of one month. I pre paid $200 deposit and $900 for the rental ($850 for the car plus $50 for the extra driver). The car BROKE DOWN less than 48 hours later, stranding my 20 year old driver, who was an authorized driver on the rental. I tried contacting the company NUMEROUS times by telephone and text, marking it URGENT. NO REPLY for more than 21 hours! My daughter was 50 miles from home in Calabasas, stranded. I received no apology, no offer of a working replacement vehicle. I was told by text that I would receive a full refund on the day following the breakdown, when the owner sent his father to my house to pick up the key to the Prius. He signed a paper stating he picked up the key. He arrived to pick up the key at 12:30pm on June 9 and had a trailer attached to his Camry, which I assumed was to go pick up the car at the gas station where my daughter obtained permission to leave the car in Calabasas. I received no refund that day as promised. I received a text the following day stating I would have my refund by noon. I did not. I still have not received any refund and the company will not answer my calls or texts. BEWARE this company. They have one name online (West Side Rent A Car). Another company name on the contract (Nonstop, LLC). And a third company name that actually gets your money when you pay by credit card (Eco Buds, LLC). This makes it very difficult for a consumer to reach them through legal action. A review of the Secretary of State filings show a company called West Side Rent a Car. There are no companies listed called Nonstop, LLC. There are companies with Nonstop in a longer name. The company rents POORLY maintained old cars. The Prius was a 2011 with 179,931 miles on it. The driver's seat was torn. The car smelled like weed. I had a very hard time finding a car rental company that would allow under age drivers that had cars available and I needed a second car for my daughter to get to her summer internship. I thought that after reading the good reviews, this would be ok. She didn't need a brand new car, just one to get her from A to B and back. I am now having to dispute the charges with the credit card company. I expect that with all my evidence in texts my dispute will be approved, but this has been a VERY STRESSFUL and unpleasant experience. Don't risk it.

The car was nice and clear too. I needed to extend the rental, and I did it from over the phone. When they take a video of the car, take your own video too. It's a tiny place and if you arrive at LAX, you'll need to take a Lyft or Taxi there, 20-some blocks down Century Boulevard. The car selection is small and the cars are far from brand new. But you also don't have to wait in a torturous line to be handed a car that is the opposite of what you requested. I would highly recommend this place as a reasonably priced alternative with friendly, old school service to the rotten car rental experience at LAX.
