Very disappointed with the customer service at the Victorville Enterprise location. I waited over an hour just to exchange a truck because it had mismatched bald tires. During that time, at least six different employees looked at the clipboard showing I was next in line. Each one set it back down, said they weren't handling exchanges, and walked away to the back office or outside without offering any help or letting another employee know I was waiting. When I was finally helped, I wasn't given any options for a replacement vehicle. The attitude I received felt like, "You get what you get." The lack of urgency, communication, and customer service was extremely frustrating, especially with so many employees on duty. I expected much better from Enterprise. This experience left me very disappointed, and I hope management addresses the lack of customer service and accountability at this location. read more

Very well deserved rating. After getting into an accident my insurance lemonade set me up with them to get my rental car, the first person I talked to told me I had to go to a DMV kiosk to get my my drivers record (since I'm waiting for my driver license replacement) cool I did that, turns out that wasn't the case. Fine, I got to the DMV and get my records and a driver license replacement again so I can have a temporary one, after spending $110 in Ubers in paperwork , they tell me know that they need a physical debit or credit card. I mentioned to them that I was traveling and I don't have either only digital and any money they need I can provide. Nope, you don't have a physical card forget about your rental. All employees talk like they could 2 f. If the business drowns, they don't show not 1 bit of effort for customer support. Each person I talked to in here did not care about anything I felt like I was talking to walls. The business could die tomorrow and they could care less needless to say, I got a rental through Turo. As fast as just searching what a wanted and paying for it. Please DO NOT GO HERE. I have been renting from Enterprise for over forty years. It is my car rental agency of choice. This location is the largest and busiest one I have ever been to. I have rented cars from them several times just in the past two months, a couple rentals were one way to other locations. Their online reservation and check-in makes the process very easy. It is highly recommended that their online check-in is used prior to arrival since this will speed up the rental process at this busy location. They still have their pick up service, so if you need a ride, it is very convenient and a phone call away. Employees are very polite and efficient. They always seem to try to expedite everything so you can get into a rental car and proceed with your day. The cars are maintained and appear clean before they are sent out. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car located in the city of Victorville could use some training in Customer Service. Long story short, I was in need of a rental car due to a car accident. The whole experience was horrible. After getting a rental car from Enterprise the check engine light came on. I was on a 120 mile trip when it did so, I was a little concerned. So I called the store to advise them of this. They were rude, very short in his answers, he got so frustrated, and wouldn't stop talking over me when I brought this to his attention he hung up the phone on me. I called back to ask for a supervisor, Kim there said she is a supervisor. Horrible experience. Save yourself the trouble and seek rental car needs elsewhere. read more

if i could give them 0 stars i would! this has now been my second time having a rental with them and they are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! the assessor for vehicle return has a smart attitude and likes to add on extra fees even when you bring the vehicle back in perfect condition and have proof of maintenance while having the vehicle. I spoke on the phone to a Kenny confirmed my car and has reservation. When I arrived there was 1 person working all the rest were eating, talking and laughing while customers waited. They finally helped me after I told them I would be late for work Did a bait and switch. They told me they only had trucks. They thought this was funny and the two upfront were unprofessional and childish. Run fast don't rent here. Worst customer service if you can even call it that. Grow up people. read more

They claimed I had brought the car back with an empty tank which is total BS I filled the tank even though when I got the car it was only half a tank and not to mention they also charge 10 dollars a gallon which is why they stole my deposit. I had made reservations 4 weeks in advance for May 24-27 2026. At the Victorville location. I received a reminder for pickup on Sunday at 12 noon. I went On Sunday at 11:00 and the doors was close . Sign said " close for Memorial Holidays why would they allow me to book the car knowing they would be close. I miss my granddaughter Graduation. I lost hotel desposit. And had to walk home from office because I gotten drop off.. 68 year old walking on a cane 45 minutes walk..So I am so disappointed in the service at Enterprise .The Mgr at the Victorville office said " I'm sorry we can order you a free upgrade " ( Really $10) after everything i lost.. The customer service at this location is at an all time low, the young lady checking customer in has a nasty, I was placed in a rental through Dodge due to an urgent safety recall, however I asked her didn't they have vehicles set aside for your dodge customers? her response was no! it's not our fault your car is over there! fun facts it wasn't mines either & I was so taken aback by her response to my simple yes or no question, however I asked that question based off of being told that by another employee during a rental pick up. Now, the death trap I'm in is horrible, the car makes all kinds of distracting noise causing me to take my eye off the road, which is not safe! When safely merging to another lane, the car start to pull me back into the lane I'm changing from, even the slightest dip on the fwy or road the car will pull me as if I'm trying to get over. The left side of my face and arm has gotten dark, due to the sun fucking burns, & the sun visor doesn't do shit for blocking the sun out your eyes! I was told they would switch me out, however that was a lie, it's not the first time I was told that, they never honor thy word, just tell the customer what's need for them to go away! The engine service light is now on & will not go off, it states change engine oil soon! Also, it was stated I don't know why Dodge don't have loaner car over their for their Dodge customers, and I couldn't agree more! Maybe Dodge should contract with another rental agency for their customers like Avis/Budget being enterprise don't respect customers. Experienced a blowout while traveling from Vegas...got towed to this location & the "manager" was unprofessional from the start. No sympathy at all for us as customers or for the crappy car the company he works for, gave us. Clearly you can see the tires in the front were not replaced & this was clearly not our fault as drivers. He saw the damage that the blowout caused & Jumped straight to payment. I scheduled a car a week in advance for six people. They called me the day before pick-up, and I confirmed with them that I needed a car for six people. The day of pick up, I checked in and told the gentleman that I need a car for six people, he said he saw that on my reservation and I waited for over an hour for them to just tell me they didn't have a car for me. They tried to put me in a 5-seater. I asked to speak to a manager, and I got the guy who checked me in. he wanted to tell me that he told me it was going to either be a five or 6-seater. I corrected him and told him he did not say that because if he had, I would have made it clear at check-in that that would not work. Terrible customer service. If you plan to rent from here, just be prepared to wait, experience terrible customer service, and then be inconvenienced with service issues. There's always a line of people in front of you and at least 7-8 people waiting on rentals. Even if you reserve a certain type of vehicle, you will be reduced to take "all they have left". On my last two visits in, I've dealt with Erin, who is unapologetically rude and difficult to talk to. Even when the issue and wait is their fault, she refuses to acknowledge any concern for the customer or the inconvenience. She needs to be fired. I've rented from here 3 times in the last 15 months and two of cars have had major service issues. Once leaving my family stranded in a dark parking garage waiting hours on roadside assistance and the second time causing my husband to be unable to attend work as he waited in their lobby for a car replacement. Do you think they even cared? Nope. After the second time, I vowed that I would not rent from here again, however this was the only place my insurance would allow, so unfortunately I didn't have a choice. When the African American manager with the dreads is there things tend to run a little more smoothly. However, when she's not there, you will be lucky if you can even return the car without having to wait 20 minutes. I hate going here and even calling here. Have inventory of vehicles that are confirmed online and over the phone Enterprise! I confirmed a vehicle online #1786953769 on 2/18 and was sent an email confirmation for pick up on 2/28. Two days ago I received a phone call from enterprise calling to confirm vehicle again, we confirmed and at NO TIME did they says anything about any delays or issues. Now I know things don't always go to plan but as a manager myself I know that you have a primary plan, alternative plan and emergency plan as a last resort. Well it just so happened that we decided to go online and just see the pricing for some other company for the same type of 7 passenger van (for comparisons purposes) and enterprise had on their website the same 7 passenger van for we had booked for $23 less. I wanted to know why I was paying $23 more so I decided to call them...this is where the fun begins...after I explained why I was calling they said oh yes we were about to call you because we are having trouble obtaining a vehicle for you. If I didn't call them when were they planning on calling me?? This was yesterday 2/27@ about 4 pm, they close at 6 pm...so I said what do you mean? Enterprise confirmed via email then someone from this location called on 2/25 to confirm again via phone and now your telling me that enterprise is having trouble obtaining the vehicle that was confirmed twice?? This is a long story but for the sake of time and my sanity, no discount was offered for this issue or for any future possible rentals, I was not offered to speak with a manager, supervisor, district manager, corporate...nothing! Further more I was the one that was trying to come with outside the box solutions to obtain the vehicle I needed for this trip I had planned and now today 2/28 I am scrambling to rent another vehicle from another provider so I can go on my trip! Reserved a truck off Expedia, arrived an hr after said pick up time, and they said they gave out the last truck because I wasn't there directly at my pick up time. NOWHERE in the reservation did it say I needed to be there within a 30 minute grace period. Then the manager was laughing in my face, blaming me for the mishap. Very unprofessional. I have rented cars through Enterprise Victorville for several years, but never left a review. Now I am. I rented a sedan Thur. morning, July 14. I liked the car and drove it to Santa Barbara then Modesto, CA. On the 18th in Modesto my sister and I noticed that there was a balled-up something-or-other lying on the right side of the front bumper. Turned out it was a goop of duct tape around a rubber tube, which had fallen down to the ground because it was... duct-taped. (You better believe I took pictures.) The middle duct tape seemed to be holding, so I drove the car to a nearby Enterprise place to see if someone could tape it back up for me for the drive back to Victorville; otherwise exchange it. A nice young guy was able to tape it back up, and it lasted until I got back to Victorville. Where not only did the "customer service" person deflect my complaint about their mechanics, she offered nothing for my time and aggravation dealing with this stupid mistake on their part. Instead, she asked for a "5" on a customer service survey, and charged me $4.86 for a gallon of gas. From now on, I'm going to Hesperia. If it would let me give a review without any stars I would. My parents had to wait 2 hours for the rental car! We reserved a van they told us 12 my parents sat and waited in that office for 2 hours and they finally decided to help them and get them in a car when the location closed. We made the reservations in advance. Make sure if you do decide to rent from here then pick up your car early or be prepared to wait a few hours. I am not happy about this place at all. Sometimes they seem overwhelmed with all the customers in queue but manage to maintain their confidence and cool. Extremely disappointed I rented a 26 foot truck and they didn't have any available they offered me a 20 foot truck. I ended up having to drive from Victorville to Santa Ana twice because I needed the 26 foot which cost me more on gas, mileage and a two day rental instead of one. By far the most expensive truck I've had to rent because of this. read more

Enterprise used to be the gold standard of car rental. Not anymore and certainly not this location. Someone hit our car head on so we needed a vehicle that seats 7. Came to this location they gave us an SUV but the passenger airbags said they were off even when my wife was sitting in the passenger seat. Came back and swapped out for this Chrysler Voyager aesthetically the headliner was ripped by another renter and the carpet in the trunk was loose I was told just be careful. Next day it rained and I found out the tires are crap as I was sliding all over, the car had three different tire brands on it and a note on the rear window "Tire spare Tags 10/29." Also you can hear when the passenger door closes it's not closing right which in turn makes for lots of road noise. Contacted the manager of this branch ultimately told me to swap out but then they told me when I called they had nothing for me to swap in to. I was put on a list for when because availability but was not called. Called corporate and they said this location had vehicles but when I called they said corporate was mistaken. After just 5 days in this hazardous vehicle it starts having transmission issues and the transmission will not shift causing the car to stall while you're pulling out into traffic. To top it all off the spare tire falls out of its side compartment mid drive due to being improperly secured. Customer service is horrible vehicles are horrible don't rent here. This was my first time renting from enterprise I normally go to Hertz, but needed a car fast and hertz didn't have any since my need was last min I gave this place a try. Boy what a bad idea! I rented a small SUV from Thursday - Tuesday (tomorrow) and from the start it was a problem. The first car had low tires which illuminated the maintenance lamp on the infotainment center. I immediately brought this to the attention of the worker helping me who was absolutely a sweetheart and she switched me to a larger SUV For the same rate. This is when her co-worker stepped in to take over the transfer because she had already moved on to her next customer. Her coworker was also a sweetheart and very apologetic; however once inside the vehicle I noticed the oil maintenance light on. Again, brought it to their attention and right away she took me inside to make sure the car was serviced, and the mechanic just didn't reset the light which was the case at this point I already been here for a hr I had to get my kids from practice so I just took their word about the cars being serviced and going under all this maintenance and stuff and how they can't rent out a car that need maintenance. Well fast forward to Saturday morning and boom maintenance light is on for low tire pressure. I should have called and said something but I didn't figure it was a one off I put air at the gas station it went away. Today (Monday) light is on again so I called to ask if I can bring the car back earlier then my scheduled time tomorrow due to the issues I'm having with it and that I got a rental from hertz that I need to pick up whoever answered the phone was so unprofessional and rude telling me they don't send out cars that need maintenance. Well honey I got news for you y'all do!! I'm not sure if the mechanics are just incompetent or they just completely ignore the tires when looking over the cars, but this is not a good look for this company improperly inflated tires are so dangerous that can cause complete failure of the tire which can result in a accident in a car I have to drive my kids in. Whoever answered the phone literally hung up in my face while explaining my concerns just egregious mannerism for sure I will never ever go to this place again. I have been an Enterprise customer for 25 years. Never...never...in my life have I had to deal with a complete and utter customer "service" nightmare at Enterprise like I had to deal with today. I made my reservation 3 weeks ago for a mid-size luxury vehicle, because I know that is usually a "special order." I specifically asked for a non-"sport" vehicle, because I had a disabled passenger who couldn't get low or climb high into a vehicle. I asked the reservation line if this branch (which is relatively new) would be able to pick me up and drop me off, since I am by myself up here in the high desert. They assured me they could. On Thursday, May 9, I called in to the branch to make sure the reservation was secured. They assured me it was. I asked if I could have pickup and dropoff service. They said they did. However, when I arrived on Friday, May 10, for my reservation, the only vehicle they had was a Tesla, which is a sporty vehicle with a low profile. I was stunned. I told them this wasn't acceptable. I had gone over my explicit needs with the reservation rep multiple time 3+ weeks earlier. Also, it was electric, and I had a long trip ahead of me, and wouldn't be able to "stop and charge" the vehicle. But they had nothing else, and I was stuck. I had an engagement to go to, and I needed a vehicle, so I settled for a lower grade vehicle. The rental was fine, but when I went to return the vehicle, the "person" who claimed to be the "manager" told me that they don't give rides on Sunday. I was dumbfounded. I told her "no one said anything about that, either over the phone, or when I picked up the vehicle. There is no sign on the rental counter which says "we do not offer drop off service on Sunday." She told me there was nothing she would do, and I said "look, I'm stranded here. You need to help me." She was mortally offended by that, and said "Oh, I don't NEED to do anything" and then she just walked away and ignored me. She walked into the building and the door closed and locked behind her. What's worse: I needed to pay with another card, and that was now clearly off the table. I knocked LOUDLY on the door (did not bang), to get someone's attention, but no one would come to the door, as they were now "closed", even though they all looked to be standing about 30 feet away. Another "gentleman", and I use that term as loosely as possible, came up and asked what the problem was, and he gave me the same song and dance "we don't give rides on Sunday." If this is the case, you need to LET CUSTOMERS KNOW UPFRONT. You don't STRAND them. They told me I could "call Uber or a Taxi", which I could not do because I don't have the Uber app, nor did I have the phone number for a Taxi. He accused me of "aggressively" knocking on the door, when I was merely trying to make sure someone heard me. He also said that, by knocking loudly on the door, I was "being aggressive" and this was a "small woman" and I was a "big man", even though SHE walked away, ignoring me, refusing to give me her name, and closing the locked door behind her long before I knocked on anything. He started to look up the number for a Taxi, but when I asked him his name, he decided he was no longer interested in helping me, and he walked away. I asked both of them what their names were, and they REFUSED to answer. So, I called Enterprise roadside service, and THEY ordered me an Uber...which means that these people at this local office could have done that, too...or just said "you know what, sir, that's on us, sorry we didn't tell you, we have to close up, so if you wait 15 or 20 minutes, I'll give you a ride home myself." That's what *I* would have done if *I* were the manager. These people should all be fired. They don't understand the first thing about customer service. They are rude, hostile, aggressive, accusatory. I have NEVER...in 25+ years renting with Enterprise...EVER had this kind of situation happen before. These people belong nowhere near customers. They have NO customer service skills, they have NO empathy to understand the situation that the company (or their own bosses) put the customer in...they just flat didn't give a damn. I did not raise my voice. I did not threaten. I did not intimidate. The cameras are all there, as it says on the door, so they can go ahead and review the tape. Stunning. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE at the VV location!!!! We reserved a Standard SUV a week in advance. Upon arrival at our pick up time, they tried to give us an intermediate-smaller SUV than we reserved. The Manager Will was not helpful and told us if we wanted to check with other stores, we would have to call ourself. This is very bad service! We expect the store to handle their mistake and make the calls. The store was the one responsible to have the vehicle we reserved in stock. This store used to be under a different Manager named Luis at a different location. We had much better service under his management and with his staff. When we first arrived the manager said he couldn't help us as we didn't have an appointment and claimed to not have any cars available understandable as this was a last minute need. However I called to make a reservation and the woman I spoke to said we would be able to get a car at that moment if we returned. When we went back we spoke to the Same manager as he was working the counter and he was very rude and condescending saying he already told us there were no cars and he's the manager and makes those decisions.
