They do have cars at this location. That's where the positive review ends. Slow service. Understaffed. And they gave me a minivan with a cracked windshield and a quarter tank of gas. Didn't appreciate that. But it did drive. Then on top of all that I arrived to return the car at 8:50 am on Saturday. They don't open until 9:00 so I'm waiting in line in the parking lot before they open. There was a huge group of people but I turned the keys in around 9:07 am to the front desk and they were busy so they said they would email me later. Because of the large group of people they didn't get to process my return in the computer until 10:07 am and had the nerve to then BILL ME AN EXTRA HOUR because of THEIR DELAY ENTERING INTO YHE COMPUTER! So on the 28th of May my car was in a bad accident around 2pm, I contacted my insurance company who reserved a car on May 28 at the nearest Enterprise in Winder, GA. I received a call from Enterprise telling me, to come in on the 29th at 9am, which is what I did. To my surprise the guy at the front desk asked for my info, then told me my appointment said I should have been there on the 28th at 9am. I gave him my reservation "WORRVS, and I explained I didn't get into the accident until 2pm, so why would I call for a rental when I scheduled last night on the 28th around 4;30pm. He then proceeds to tell me, he doesn't have any cars available until Mon June 1. I asked if he was joking and he said NO. It's apparent the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, and it's a terrible way to run a business. If I could leave zero stars rating for enterprise I would. But let me address the issue with Enterprise that occurred this morning in the collision center of a large local dealership in front of other people. After confirming my car in advance over the phone with enterprise multiple times, telling them my method of payment etc, being able to pay the amount many times over, I was left waiting on a driver to bring a car to me after being called to ask if I was in fact needing the car for the time I said this morning. I said yes, and that I was about 45 minutes away, gave a gentleman my confirmation number and I was good. As my car arrives and a rookie agent showed up to let me review my car and take me through the whole process, they will not take my card. They do not want my forms of bills as ID, since we all tote so many forms of bills with our names on them on the day we are dropping cars off to have work done. Even after calling and offering other forms of payment, calling others which didn't help much either, I was left there stranded by enterprise. Luckily the dealership didn't leave me left with no car an hour away from home. So you are better off walking, getting any other company, Uber maybe hitch hiking. But luckily I was able to work it out and I was able to end up in a rental for far far less than enterprise could have!! read more

We reserved a car several weeks ago, the young lady asked us if we wanted a Toyota RAV4 or a Camry. We said that either one of them would be fine. We finally get there and the same lady is on the phone telling someone she had just given the Camry away. When I got to the counter to let her know we were here for our reserved car she tried to tell us that she did not tell us about offering the RAV4 or the Camry. Instead, she offered us a mini van or a Nissan Altima (I would rather walk than drive a Nissan, I've had two bad experiences w those cars). We were highly disappointed in this Winder location. One of the worst experiences at a rent a car office. I booked 2 weeks in advance. Everything looks perfect because even the morning of the day i was picking up my car they called me to confirm the reservation. I got to the place by noon (as scheduled) and there was a person upset because his car was not ready and he also received a call that morning confirming his reservation, immediately I knew I would be at the same situation. They told me my car was not ready because they were fixing a nail in one tire, that they will pick me up in about an hour to go get my car (after 2 hours I showed up at the office and the lady told me I TOLD YOU WE WILL CALL YOU TO PICK YOU UP. I told her that I had a schedule already and my wife and babies were waiting for me, they just said WE DONT HAVE A CAR FOR YOU. So another person told me to call other enterprise location and see if they have a car for me. after 30 minutes the person told me to go to a place 40 minutes away to pick my car, hopefully my friend was driving and waiting for me because they (enterprise) didnt even say WELL PAY FOR THE UBER or SORRY. We rented a car from them and it has been a total nightmare. My sissy needed a car to go see her husband who was in a rehab/nursing home but unfortunately he passed away the morning we were to go see him. She decided to still get car because of all the things to be done for my brother-in-law's service. Well the POS compact SUV which we were supposed to get a Toyota Corolla but got a Ford EcoSport. Well 29 miles later the temperature gauge starts to go up about 3/4 of the way. Fortunately we made it home called road side service and was told 4 to 6 hours just to get car well decided since only a couple miles from our home we would take it in this morning.. my sister asked if I would call and make sure they had a car for her so I did and she asked to see what we would need to add me as additional driver and the rudest person said a major credit card.. ok well she used her bank card and ran it as credit he said no I need a major credit card.. so I called customer service and was told by the representative there that NO we didn't need a major credit card and that we would only have to pay a extra fee of $15 per day for me.. ok cool thank you so we get there and the most arrogant jerk came and started arguing about the credit card I said I would just call customer service back and he just turned around and walked off so I called customer service for a 2nd time and somehow ended up transfered to roadside service so now I have to call back for the 3rd time and everything was explained again that my sister wanted to add me as a driver didn't have major credit card and that she would be in no shape to drive back from 2 hours or so from making the arrangements for her husband's services and she understood and agreed about the extra $15 a day for me to be added she then called the location and a few minutes later came back and now all of a sudden she said I was informed wrong by the 1st young lady and that yes we needed a major credit card and the reason why was that I was not her spouse so she was not allowed to put me on agreement Now understand this the whole time we there my sister was in tears So she got herself together the best she could and went inside the same person that was so rude came outside walked around the car got in it cranked it up and sat there revving it up to see if it would run hot which it was climbing fast but he turned it off when it got a little above half way..We had done explained that we had an appointment to discuss her husband plans for a service and had others meeting us there. But he said first thing first well excuse me but her making arrangements for her husband was the most important thing to us. Then he gets out the car and because we have one of our dogs with us he snapped and said NO animals in his cars and I lost it I said show me where it says that because ENTERPRISE is pet friendly and YES she can have her dog in the car it states that pets must be in carriers or support dogs didn't have to be and right now she is her support dog since she lost her husband only 28 hours ago. And I and I alone made sure there was no dog hairs left in car and backseat was covered completely so there would be none.. My sissy wanted the dog to go with her because she keeps my sissy calmed down because of the loving she gets from her and he said loudly ok I heard you .. we got car exchanged I'm not on there as an additional driver because apparently they making up the rental agreement as they please and let me say my sister nor myself will EVER RENT FROM THE WINDER LOCATION AGAIN. THEY ARE RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND JUST ALL AROUND ARROGANT ASSES. One more thing if you rent from them check the inside of the car good because I took pictures of the inside of the car we had there was something in 4 or 5 places on the seats which I cleaned before riding in car and the clothes that I used turned yucky looking quick. And there was 2 or 3 small blood spots on the passenger door and trim so disgusting.. I give him a negative 100 stars and the overall business a negative also. I would be ashamed of myself if I treated another human being like that and even more ashamed if they were suffering due to losing a loved one.. SHAME ON WINDER ENTERPRISE.. and yes I work in customer service also and I deal with a thousand more people a day than they do and I have never treated anyone with anything but the upmost respect, courtesy and doing whatever I can to make sure they were happy.. and I work for a major company here in Winder. I want to share my experience w/ Enterprise on 12/20/22 and the branch manager who reached out to me (Derrick). If I were you I would not do business w/ this particular branch. Brief summary of my rating: I am using Enterprise due to a MVA, I did not cause. I unfortunately had to request 2 extensions to continue using the provided vehicle. At the time of the second request for another extension on the vehicle I was not informed that you have to physically come into the branch to provide a new card, but I did have a family emergency & I informed the manager of this & I also informed him that the additional payment could be processed today w/ my card but I would have to bring the physical copy of the card on a different day (due to my work schedule). This manager is probably the most insensitive and rudest managers I've ever encountered in my entire life. Not only does he insult my integrity but he was not willing to accommodate me. His exact words were well if you can't make it before we close you can drop the keys off and the car will have to be returned tonight. Sir I work on the other side of town, I don't want this car, & I don't steal. I'll get in touch w/ corporate soon enough about my complaint. read more

Also weren't told about the extra charge for adding a second driver or what to do if we needed to bring the car back early/late. Very dry service but quick to swipe your card without explaining anything. Won't be using this location ever again. read more

I wouldn't give 1 star if I didn't have to. I've been trying to arrange for a rental while my truck is at a very know dealership in Winder. I tried calling to confirm yesterday... and after about five calls where they just hang up on you I got through. The person talking to me was possibly the most unhelpful and rude person I've dealt with in a long while, and he clearly had NO customer service training whatsoever! We were just trying to change from the Monroe branch to the Winder branch because it was easier on them! My mistake! The rudeness just continued to the point where I gave up and called corporate. After that, I did finally get through and they told me they would meet me at the dealership at 10:00am this morning. That was yesterday. I arrived at the dealership at 9:55am. I tried to call the branch 8 times... all disconnected! The dealership tried to call at least 6 times... hung up on them too! The only way they got through was by knowing someone's personal cell phone number there... they didn't respond to that either! This is a HUGE dealership that sends a ton of business their way! If you don't treat the people who feed you work regularly, then you are truly in a bad place! I ended up leaving at 11:56am after calling the corporate line again and then waiting another 30-40mins. There was also a very nice young woman there with an 18-month old baby that had a scheduled time of 10:30am. She left 2 minutes before me with a very antsy and frustrated toddler. I sat on the floor with him to try and help her out as I have two small children of my own. Luckily I had an old stashed diaper in the truck because she didn't have anymore. When they showed up, we both had requested SUV's since we needed them... they show up in two dodge minivans! I was also forced to pay for days that I "might" need the car up front??? What??? Shouldn't you just charge for that AFTER you know how long it took? Really???!!! I told them that the minivan didn't work for me for professional reasons and they said they'd fix that right away... the minivan is still in my driveway 2-1/2 hours later with, again no call! They have 0 customer service and were completely disrespectful about other people's timelines; and the young woman and I both had to cancel appointments because of it. I will attest that Tash, the young man who brought the van did take me giving him a harsh and abrupt courtesy and customer service lesson as I'm in sales; but I didn't give him much choice either! They made sure I got a car that i was comfortable in and exceeded my expectations in getting me into a nice SUV. Gotta say the guys over at the Winder, GA's location have made my rental experience as easy as I could ever ask for. From beginning-to-almost-end (still have the truck another week) I've not had any problems. Their website was informative about availability/rates and a breeze to place my reservation. Staff were/are professional, efficient, and thorough with answering any questions, like what type of documents I'd need in order to use a debit card since I don't use credit cards. Ended up having to delay my pickup time by half a day, which was easy with a quick 30-60 second call. Upon check-in, I was advised of insurance coverages and any added costs, fuel fill-up choices, and my husband's use of the vehicle as included in the original quote. Received a full-sized 2017 Ford F-150 XLT that was clean inside & out and with a ton of power under the hood for a great weekly $199 price. I've had to extend my reservation three additional weeks which has only required a ~1 min call with less than one hour before my turn-in time. So far Danny and Quinton's customer service has done Enterprise and the Winder location's reputation more business & free marketing than any commercial or marketing could accomplish. If you need a rental vehicle, your time, money, and driving needs won't be disappointed by this location & their staff. read more

I needed to rent a car for a couple of weeks. I called and was told that a car would be $37+ per day. As walked out to select a car, the agent told me that after 5 days rental the 6th and 7th were free. The prorate would be about $25. I told the agent I wanted the cheapest car. Back inside I asked what the weekly rental would be. I was told $240, $30 plus per day, not $25. I then asked what the daily rental was. I was told $42+ per day. Service here is inconsistent at best. When you have a reservation, they don't honor it for you. They prefer to give cars to insurance companies ahead of reservations. They don't know how to manage the cars they have and don't respect customer reservations. If you need a rental car, don't go here! read more

This review is for my 79 year old mother. My mom was in a accident in November and had to get a rental car from Enterprise in Winder. This car was picked up on November 2nd, 2020. She put a $50 damage deposit on her credit card. When the rental van was delivered to her by Todd, an employee/agent of Enterprise, my mom got in the back seat to look over his shoulder to understand the operation of the car. Upon getting out and trying to close the sliding door she and Todd both saw that the door didn't work properly. My mother asked them to note the damage on the contract. They had the car for one day and drove it for less than 30 miles. My mom returned it at Maxie Price the next day where my mom had bought a new car. When she got her credit card bill it came as a surprise to see the $50 dollar deposit still there. Upon calling Enterprise she was informed that the car was with their Damage Recovery Unit and she was possibly going to be responsible for the door damage which was never noted by their employee/agent upon delivery of said van on November 2nd. We are currently waiting on Enterprise to refund the charge on the card as well as relieve my mother of all responsibility regarding the damage to this rental car. They should have 0 stars for this issue as well and I will be contacting corporate and social media on this depending on the outcome. read more

Very deceptive business practices. You go online to book your reservation using your points and these $$%#@!, cancel your reservation and do a new one without your points on it and you do not realize until it is too late. I called and they told me my points were being applied and they were not according to enterprise plus someone cancelled my reservation. I never get the insurance and the lied to my husband and told him we would not be covered if we did not get their insurance and my husband did not know any better and signed so a $160 rental is now $400.00 I don't think so they will lose us as business customers as well and we will never use them again if they do not fix this bill and apologize for the horrible customer service and lies. read more

I rented a truck from this location for 6 days. I was greeted with friendly, smiling faces and quickly received the keys after less than 10 minutes. The Nissan Frontier met my needs exactly. When I returned the truck, I was again greeted with the same friendly, smiling faces; after less than 10 minutes the check-out was completed. I was even asked if I needed a ride home.
