We used a bus and 2 14 passengers vans which were clean, safe, comfortable and very nice. They're a busy bunch, so communication was sometimes a little spotty when planning, but there wasn't any question about commitment. Darcy met up with us the day before to drive the routes and even ended up finding us time efficiency in our schedule. They're fairly priced (although transportation is not cheap!) and well worth it!

Country Coach Charter pulled the old bait-and-switch on me, pocketed my deposit, and refused to refund me the money back when I received the invoice (months before the date of service) with services we did not agree on. Several months before my wedding, I requested a coach bus with air conditioning that seats 50. Darcy immediately responded and asked me to fill out a form on her website and submit the deposit, and she would immediately send over the invoice. Wanting to lock down transportation, I foolishly did so as I thought this was a honest, business relationship. When I finally received the invoice, it was for a a shuttle bus that doesn't even seat 50, with no air conditioning in the middle of summer (the shuttle bus wasn't even pictured on their website or facebook page). When I respectfully emailed back immediately saying that this is not what we agreed on, and if I could receive my deposit back, Darcy did not respond for months, after repeated calls and emails. My CC company would not refund me the money either due to filling out the form on her website first (which was my mistake). I am very disappointed that CC of Maine would conduct business in this manner, and am personally insulted that they wouldn't even return my phone calls or emails, even as I was being respectful. I hope that people will learn from my experience.

Stayed 2 nights. On day 2 I was bitten by a dog. After reporting it to the owners of the…read morecampground, I was assured the owner of the dog was kicked out for violating the dog policy. After getting medical attention and reporting it to animal control, I find out that the person and the dog never left. Found out they were seasonal campers. So money is more important than the safety of people and children that stay there. They also didn't have any vaccination records or rabies shots. I am now on a regimen of rabies vaccination because of that. The campground also told me they would email me the dogs vaccination records to bring to my doctor. Never got a hold of me at all. Found out everything from animal control. 0 stars! Don't need to be lied to just to benefit yourself.
