I went through the corporate website and reserved a truck. The website was slow so it took an hour to navigate through and get what I needed. I finished and then they promptly e-mailed me a reservation confirmation. The following morning (the day before the rental) I was called and told that all trucks were already rented and that my reservation number was meaningless. I now have less than 24 hours to get a replacement. The service person that called was not very helpful or sympathetic. Several other big truck rentals are now doing this also. I would avoid these and find a small local business that rents Penske trucks. Penske's are little more expensive, but you can reserve them as long as you have a credit card. And you can then have the peace of mind knowing that your reservation actually means something. I would avoid these guys. read more

A simple trailer rental turned into a cataclysmic cluster-f*ck with 100 percent of the blame on them. They not only double charged me a late fee (I returned it a day early!!) but also left the original charge attached. When I called to explain this, the rep who took my call got shitty with me and hung up on me without giving me a chance to convey the story. It's fI've days later and they still haven't rectifed the situation. Please, people, uhaul as a rule, is a complete train wreck, but this location takes it to a new low... STAY AWAY FROM THEM! I normally use parham and staples mill for my trailer rentals with minimal problems, but I changed up this time. How Uhaul stays in business Is beyond me, but this location had taken incompetence and stupidity to a new art form. Just stay away. You've been warned.

Today was a totally different experience. This guy was a total jerk. Charged for 90 miles (at $1.09/mile) when only 53.6 were put on the truck. Also insisted the truck gas tank be full when there was only a 1/4 tank when we picked it up. Said we either fill the tank or he would and would charge $4.99 per gallon and a $30 service charge, and put it on our card. Had to put in 24 gallons (in addition to the 5 gallons of gas we already put in). This guy is a CROOK.

Overall, not the best customer service I've had. I didn't feel I could trust them not to screw me on pricing and damages. Won't use this location again.

Stated that they had to get *their* locksmith to get the key out of the truck, that no other locksmith could possibly do it, and they didn't have a copy of the key because "corporate won't let us"??? Luckily I had AAA at the time, who came out and opened the door right away. I think this manager/worker is just running a scam to give work to a buddy or something. I've never gone back.

We just never have enough space, and lord knows this old house was built during a time when closet space wasn't a priority. The perks of Mini Price...a professional team. More than just "climate control " which at our previous space, meant, your 4 walls and a roof overhead to keep out rain, sun, snow. Mini Price actually has Air Conditioning, which makes it much more comfortable when needing to run in for something or to store something away. It feels very secure. My only gripe, would be, they advertise a price on their website, but that price is the "this is where they get you" per our salesperson. You can expect a pretty low price for the first 2 months and then the price goes way up. Apparently this place caters to short term clients, and it is a bargain if you just need a month or two. That being said, the price still isn't bad once you factor in that it is new, clean, AC, secure, a team of professionals on site to assist if needed, and ease of use. Though we did not take advantage of it, they even have moving trucks for move-in use, only fee is mileage. When we went to check this place out, the units with the size space we were seeking were fully occupied, so we ended up with a larger space for not much more than we were paying at the previous place. For that, the value is pretty good. Overall, so far so good. I would definitely recommend Mini Price for your self storage needs.

They made me an appointment for Friday 4/26. The customer service was just as great in person as it was on the phone. I totally got really good vibes and honesty from this place.
