Excellent Customer service with Sara at the front desk. She made the interaction pleasant and efficient. She took me to see the storage unit that fit my needs and showed me how to work the lock and then gave me the keys. The unit was a great size, for a great price, and the best part is its inside and air conditioned. The paperwork was a breeze, and she explained each step carefully and was very knowledgeable. So far, we are very impressed with this new self storage facility. We have had a storage space for many years, mostly for seasonal items and keepsakes. We just never have enough space, and lord knows this old house was built during a time when closet space wasn't a priority. The perks of Mini Price...a professional team. More than just "climate control " which at our previous space, meant, your 4 walls and a roof overhead to keep out rain, sun, snow. Mini Price actually has Air Conditioning, which makes it much more comfortable when needing to run in for something or to store something away. It feels very secure. My only gripe, would be, they advertise a price on their website, but that price is the "this is where they get you" per our salesperson. You can expect a pretty low price for the first 2 months and then the price goes way up. Apparently this place caters to short term clients, and it is a bargain if you just need a month or two. That being said, the price still isn't bad once you factor in that it is new, clean, AC, secure, a team of professionals on site to assist if needed, and ease of use. Though we did not take advantage of it, they even have moving trucks for move-in use, only fee is mileage. When we went to check this place out, the units with the size space we were seeking were fully occupied, so we ended up with a larger space for not much more than we were paying at the previous place. For that, the value is pretty good. Overall, so far so good. I would definitely recommend Mini Price for your self storage needs. read more

This started out as a temporary storage unit but I ended up keeping it for a year. Very clean and safe. I never saw as much as a dust ball inside. Some of the people moving stuff in or out sometimes leave trash in the parking lot but the actual facility was great. My daughter was looking for a unit so we spoke to Fatima. Excellent customer service. The people who answer the phone lines are outstanding. The gentleman working the desk Saturday afternoon was mediocre but not found to allow him to effect my overall review. read more

I have been with Min price for several years and the staff and facilities are excellent.

We rented a unit for 2 months, upon moving in we were given a lock for the unit. We also used our own, then the next day, we were threatened eviction for having our own lock. Unbelievable, never in my life with any storage company did this happen. My girl even had it on reoccurring payments through her bank, yet NO, so basically they can access your unit whenever they want. Installed cameras and took pics. read more

Spotlessly clean, excellent climate control, friendly service, easy access. This was the cleanest storage facility I've ever seen, and the price at this location was better than others in the area. Easy signup, easy checkout. Honestly the *only* think that irked me was that someone from the main corporate office (not this location!) called me several times early on, ostensibly to check that I was satisfied, but actually to ask me to write a positive review. It was really, really annoying. So it's a testament to how well-run this actual branch is that I'm here now, writing my positive review. Great space, Pemberton branch. Mini Price Storage on Pemberton is fantastic. Clean spaces and wide hallways make for an easy move. The area around the back of the building is a little tight, if you plan on bringing a larger truck and trailer in it could be tight. There are plenty of carts for moving decent sized loads at one time to reduce trips up and down. The prices are GREAT, always ask for promotions and specials. Ask for Sarah or Ashley, they helped me and were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. read more

I am not quite sure where to begin in regard to my review of Mini Price Storage in Henrico. In one word: PHENOMENAL!! From my very first contact with Chetarious (please please forgive me if I spelled this wrong) to every single step including the follow up of my experience. I can share with you that were in not for Chetarious I might have gone with another storage company. Within moments of my inquiry on the website I received a call from her to not only answer all my questions but to educate me. This review could not possibly show my appreciation to her for all her help, patience and guidance. She is my storage Angel. Seriously. I was booking this from NY and I was nervous. She immediately put me at ease. She emailed me pricing for the various units, specials, and pricing for any moving products I needed. She really went above and beyond for me. Oh, also on the website they show you interactive photos of the various units showing how much you could actually fit in them. I also told the exceptional people at the location about her and they already knew what a valuable asset to MPS she is. To ALL the employees at the location on Pemberton you ALL are AWESOME. To the Management of MPS, I am not a friend of Chetarious or any of your employees. I am an actual customer of yours) these employees need raises! You need to realize how incredibly lucky you are to have these employees representing your company. The location was spotless, they offer a truck for your use, 24 hour surveillance, climate control, coffee, a business center and the best customer service I have ever encountered. I was traveling from Florida to Virginia to receive a few pieces of family furniture. Since one of our children had just taken a new job in Richmond I wanted a place there to store it until their housing was decided. The trip had to be carefully scheduled as I only had a few days to accomplish my mission. I priced three storage unit companies near the Midlothian area and I chose Mini Price because their unit was the best VALUE for the money, hands down. Once I my flight landed at RIC I zoomed to their Midlothian offices to complete the paperwork before they closed. Once I had possession of these pieces the next day it was imperative that I move it all in the Mini Price Storage Unit in time to deliver the Penske truck before nightfall. Naarah, who was my contact at Mini Price, assured me if my flight was late she would stay at work late so I could stay on my crazy schedule. Once the move was complete and I had returned to Florida, I called their offices to email my Penske truck receipt to receive my $20 truck use credit. They also mailed another key ID card to my child to go on the storage unit key ring so our child so they would have all the info to use the unit in Richmond. Everything went seamlessly from start to finish with Naarah's assistance along with Kim Agnew's help in the home office. They answered every question, assisted with any concern and more than accommodated my breakneck schedule. I would highly recommend Mini Price storage to anyone looking for a storage unit! read more
