She stepped out for 5 minutes and returned to inform me "the doctor" insisted I need an MRI. I've been dealing with severe hearing loss for 15 years and don't present symptoms which warrant an MRI. Particularly from a doctor who never even spoke to me. It felt like a checklist visit and they refused to take any action unless I had an MRI. It's sad we must advocate so aggressively for quality care.

They did nothing that his pcp hadn't already done. So what is the point of a specialist. The provider wasn't interested in helping him, they rushed thru the initial appointment like it was a follow up. They should be ashamed to call themselves specialist in their field.
