Dr. Yvonne Richardson at Valley E.N.T. gives excellent, quality care. A few days ago, I had severe ear pain and called their office, 480-753-1459 (on Frye Rd in Chandler). There were no immediate openings and Corina, very nice front desk staff, said she could call if there was a cancelation. Within 30 minutes, they called me to come in! I am so grateful. Dr. Richardson determined the issue, treated the problem, and turned a bad situation into a positive one. She is a kind and compassionate doctor. Do not even try this place. You literally would have to be dying with your throat closed or ears bleeding for them to schedule you in since your condition is not emergent. Horrible customer service scheduling for this place with no knowledges of insurances. read more

The appointment went great but have to mention after our appointment my car wouldn't start so we were stuck there for a few hours waiting for a tow. I recently came in to get my ears molded for some in ear monitors I purchased from 64 Audio. I showed up and signed in 30 minutes early and emailed them the directions so that they knew what 64 Audio was expecting from these molds. I get into the appointment and ask the lady, who did not tell me her name (wore a mask and had long dirty blond hair), did not read the directions on how to take these molds. I asked her if she read the directions and if she needed to see them and she said, "I'm aware and I don't need to read those directions. We get tons of these coming in all the time." This would be fine if she knew how to properly mold ears to what 64 Audio wanted. Obviously not. I had to inform her before injecting my ears with the wrong type of molding material that I needed a mouth spacer to keep my mouth in the same open position the whole time. The directions were given to her and she chose to be ignorant to what was on the sheets of paper right in front of her. Directions were not followed and am now awaiting 64 Audio to see if these molds will work for my in ears. If they don't, this place told me I would be charged extra for remolds and they would not redo them for free. I'm being cheated out of my money and I would not recommend this place if you are looking for impressions. Mind you, this place charges an extra $25 than other audiologists that are very close to the same area. The only reason why I came here was because the other place was booked out several weeks. Very disappointed with the service and if these molds are incorrect, I will be going to a different place that would actually take 2 minutes to read the directions. read more

I have no idea if the doctors are good. We never made it past the front desk. They need a class in customer service. Very curt, dismissive and uncaring. I never mind waiting when an office is busy, but please acknowledge that I am a breathing human standing in front of you. Then to look past me and try to take care of the person behind me before asking me who I was or why I was there was beyond the pale. (No sign in sheet) So frustrated that, because of the office staffs error, we were not able to be seen after all that. If you have a choice, I would choose another doctor. read more

I sure would have loved to become a patient at Valley ENT however, their scheduler Roxanne made the process so incredibly difficult that I was forced to go elsewhere. I am so disappointed in her behavior and lack of care that it now makes me question this entire practice. If your scheduler cannot find it within herself to assist new patients, is it a personal issue or a company culture issue? I am just so sad that she lacked empathy and gumption, especially when she's the first impression of a medical practice. read more

Dr. Fucci has taken care of multiple family members and a handfull of our friends. We have all received very compassionate, knowledgeable, and skilled care. From my niece undergoing her first surgery (ear tubes) with Dr. Fucci to get tubes, to him repairing my wife's ruptured eardrum, to evaluating and caring so well for my son to evaluate neurotoxic chemotherapies effects on his hearing and equilibrium, Dr. Fucci has been nothing but respectful, accommodating, and caring. I have personally witnessed Dr. Fucci go above and beyond in his medical care for his patients. It is obvious that he views his practice as more than a business and his patients as more than a job. It is my experience that he genuinely cares for his patients as people and treats them in the best way he knows how. Beyond my personal family, I have only heard very positive feedback from the friends I have recommended see Dr. Fucci. I know Dr. Fucci is quite busy, so especially if you are a new patient, be patient because it might take a while to get in. But it's worth the wait. read more

So, I called the office manager like they suggested. She told me that she "could not change anything". Then she proceeded to criticize me for writing "such a negative review" and told me that "doctors have the right to refuse new patients". Obviously, she never intended to be compassionate or make things right, just more uncaring attitude and unprofessionalism from this office. But what's even more astounding is that she missed the entire point of my review, which is that Dr. Fucci reached a medical conclusion without ever seeing and examining the patient. I was examined, diagnosed, and treated ALL ON PAPER by this doctor. And his medical conclusion was based on the paperwork of a doctor who does not have the medical expertise to determine if my hearing loss is nerve related or not. That is the precise reason that my doctor made the referral in the first place... so I could be seen, examined, and hopefully treated by a doctor with more expertise, as a real live patient, not on paper. Call me old-school, but I think being treated on paper and then being criticized for not tolerating the unacceptable, unprofessional medical conclusion that results from it is not something that any patient (potential or existing) should have to put up with. Came a few times here and the wait time was always horrendous. BUT I had seen 3 ENT doctors previously and they all failed to fix my ear infection and ear eczema problems I was having. Dr. Fucci is the only doctor that has helped me and I no longer have any ear problems read more

Dr Fucci is an amazing Dr. He has a way of putting things in simple terms so that us regular people can understand it. He has a great sense of humor and is personable. I have had balance issues for the past 10 years or so. I lost hearing in my left ear. I spoke with my PAC about it and he referred me to Dr Fucci. I had to wait 3 months to get into see him, but it was worth the wait. I have called the office with questions, and the medical Assistant Jessica always returned my call (when I had to leave her a VM) that very same day. All the staff is friendly and the office is awesome. I am having my labrynthectomy tomorrow in my left ear. and couldn't be more excited! Thanks Dr Fucci! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Fucci multiple times for different issues over the past 10 years. I have always been thankful for the care I have received from both Dr. Fucci as well as the audiologists that work with him. The first time that I saw Dr Fucci came after a visit to my primary care doctor for dizziness who refered me to a cardiologist, who then referred me to an ENT. After months of dizziness, Dr. Fucci corrected an inner ear issue in the first visit. My dizziness was gone! Additionally, several of my grandchildren, many friends and my niece have all been seen by Dr. Fucci and have been helped and pleased with the care they were given.. I would highly recommend Dr. Fucci. read more

I called yesterday to try and get an appointment to see one of the doctors regarding an almost week long problem of allergic sinusitis. My face is swollen under my eyes, my nose is blocked and I am unable to properly sleep.I also have a post nasal drip. I have seen Dr. Mc Kenna once. My follow up appointment with him was cancelled as he was not in the office. Nobody called me and I showed up at the office from Tempe to find out I did not have one. They gave me another apt way in the future and I ended up cancelling that. The receptionist more or less berated me for 1. not being a patient of record 2. cancelling apt. twice which I did not. after I told her my symptoms she aid that she could not make an apt for me as I had symptoms of Covid. Ridiculous. I am fully vaccinated and DO NO have Covid symptoms but just my nasal symptoms. after all, you are an ENT office and people come to you with nasal symptoms. Do they all get turned away to get Covid tests? I did not have a fever or body aches or any of the other possible symptoms of Covid but this woman was adamant and got kind of nasty and so I just hung up and decided to keep going with my home remedies of a prescription nasal spray, neti pot and steam. I am actually better today. I did not appreciate the way this receptionist treated me and the incorrect info she gave me and turning me away was the last straw. I see the audiologist at your office and will tell her all this also even though she is not in the same department. I do not want to go through a similar situation again the next time I need to see one of your doctors. I wish I had gotten the woman's name. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but dr fucci deserves to be fired or sued for what he did to my grand mother. He push her in to having a cochlear ear implant when she was 80 years old. Which by the way is not a very good idea, but also failed to mention the serious side effects like loosing your equilibrium and then after the fact telling her that she should just deal with it. That was the worst but far from the last problems she has had since the surgery. To even suggest such a surgery without letting the patient know of the risks associated with it (like having to deal with balance and walking issues for the rest of your life) is foolish and boarders on malpractice. read more

First visit as a new patient to Dr. Fucci was everything you would want. Office staff and medical assistant were all professional, courteous, and friendly, the wait wasn't long, and Dr. Fucci took plenty of time going over the differential diagnosis for my symptoms as well as the different imaging studies needed to investigate things further. Dr. Fucci has taken excellent individualized care of the serious ENT needs of two of my grandchildren and of my daughter, as well. She is a nurse and has repeatedly referred to Dr. Fucci as a caring professional, and a highly-skilled specialist. It pains me to leave a negative review but in this case I have to. We have been going to Arizona Hearing & Balance Center for over a year with our son. They advised us on a surgery and even called our insurance to verify they would cover it which they told us on several occasions they did so with their recommendation we proceeded. I can't even begin to describe the nightmare that came next when we found out their office manager was incorrect and our insurance would not cover it, you can imagine the horror we felt when a billed showed up for $45,000. That's not even the worst of it. How Dr. Fucci and his team have handled themselves after finding out they gave us misinformation has been completely unprofessional. They have admitted their mistakes yet will not do anything to make it right. PLEASE stay far away from this practice and find another ENT! read more

Being a first time mom, I was extremely nervous about my son getting tubes in his ears. Dr. Fucci walked me step by step on how the procedure goes and how painless and easy it will be for my little guy. He gave me a ton of relief and I knew my son would be just fine. The office needs to learn a bit more about what it means to be "accepting new patients," since when I called the receptionist told me that while Dr. Fucci is gladly accepting them, he is not able to see them until 9 months later. I think that this group needs to either learn their limits or hire another provider to assist with their patient load. Very poor service and very poor first impression. read more
