I've been coming here since they have opened. I was always greeted like an old friend. Yesterday, I walked in the door for my usual appointment to 3 completely new faces. They asked what I needed. I said I'm here for my 3 o'clock appointment (dip manicure + pedicure). She got up and asked someone else. The 2nd person came over and asked me. I explained again. They translated and the. I was walked over to the pedicure chairs. I was sat in one the was broken. Then the water was cold. During my pedicure the 3rd person came over and started working on my dip manicure. I get acrylic rips and she didn't completely remove the old tips before putting new ones on. All I was told was that Tony & Tina no longer worked there and that they went back to Vietnam for 6 months. I don't know what happened to the owner, Tony & Tina but I sure miss them. Walked in today for a last minute pedicure - hoping to get in. The place was fairly empty on a Wednesday afternoon but the 6 or so employees working were all busy with customers. The nice enough Asian guy tried to ask me in his best English if I could wait for 20? Yes- I didn't mind and I didn't have an appointment, so, of course. I sat down where he told me to and waited. A woman came over and started filling the basin and didn't even speak to me. She said "you have a color?" I said that I did and she threw the menu card at me to pick Which pedicure I wanted. I told her classic and she went about the job. Not friendly, not welcoming, obvious she hates her job. I have been to so many salons in my life and this one- felt very impersonal unfriendly ? So she finished and went to the back and the whole staff just disappeared to go sit in the back room. I waited for a while, went up front to pay - no staff to pay. It was all so unfriendly. I decided to try out Envy Nails for a pedicure the other day. I noticed they also do waxing so I had my eyebrows done too. I'm happy to report that I was very pleased with both services. I didn't get the name of the lady who waxed my brows but she definitely knew what she was doing-- best brow wax I've ever had. Liz did my pedi and she did a great job and was very pleasant. When she learned I was new to the area we got to talking about local eateries and she recommended several of her favorites. Highly recommend this salon and Tina specifically. They are a little pricier but you are paying for the ambiance and quality of work. Well worth it if you are looking for nails that will last and a calming atmosphere. The salon: The salon itself is always clean, smells great and has a calming ambiance. It is beautiful with marble floors, relaxing music playing, and 2 large glass water feature walls filled with water that bubbles slowly move around in. The quality: I've been regularly going to Tina at Envy for a little over a year now for dip nails. She is a perfectionist and takes the time to perfectly shape them every time. I've gone to A LOT of salons to try dip and was not a fan because they always peeled away from my nail within 2 weeks, I thought it just didn't last. Tina talked me into trying it again and i don't know what she does different but when she does them, they last 3-4 weeks and they never peel or chip the only reason I have to go back is because of grow out. read more

Very disappointed. I recently went in for a basic pedicure. They asked if I wanted a manicure but I said I didn't have time, so she said she could just do my cuticles. It took about 3 minutes in total, and when I was checking out they charged me $85. They said the cuticles WAS a full manicure, and that I could get polish but the cost was the cost. This used to be a favorite salon of mine, but needless to say I will NOT be returning. read more

I have come here quite a few times for last minute pedicures and always had good experiences. Until today-I came to get my JellyX nails soaked off bc my usual girl was booked, and a gel mani. The guy was so rude! He argued with me that I had acrylic on which I told them it was Gelx/hard gel and that they just soak it off. He pushed my hands away and was talking with a coworker. This place is beyond great! The ambience and decor are beautiful, the staff is super gentle and friendly. Got a pedicure and it was by far in my top 3 favorites, and to top it off it is real inexpensive. Glad to have found this gem. I definitely recommend coming here to unwind. Great service. They're super pricey, but the nails come out flawless so you get what you're pay for. The inside of this place is crazy nice. Should be rated $$$ not $$. A downfall I'd say is the guy that does most of the acrylics there works 7 days a week and is only off one day a month. I heard him tell another client then I told me and that's just crazy. Pretty salon, friendly staff, they do good quality work for reasonable prices. The bad: I get the feeling they're understaffed, especially on the weekends. The salon has so many chairs and they only have staff to utilize maybe 20% of them. I've been coming here for over a year and noticed this. Sometimes you can wait 10-20 minutes even if you have an appointment. Everytime I'm there on a weekend they are turning away walk ins. Again, the salon is big enough and has enough chairs to accommodate so they should figure out their staffing. Also, maybe consider doing classic, gel, and dip manis while the customer is getting their pedi done. This is basically standard practice in Dallas salons and it helps the customer get in and out quickly but I believe it will help out the salon as well with more efficiency. Recommend calling ahead and making an appointment, especially if it's a weekend day. read more

The so called tech no longer works there so someone else must have complained. I should have walked out after the first minute she touched me. My finger where she pulled the side of my nailed off is very tender to the touch and hurts. Liz (manager) is not willing to do ANYTHING since the service was performed. Outa here Envy Nail & Spa!!! This was my first time visiting this salon today and my first pedicure since moving to TN in December. So I was really looking forward to it but obviously made the wrong choice on this salon. The Salon is pretty but what counts most is the service. I was not greeted warmly.This was the shortest pedicure I've ever had in my life (30 mins) and my dry dead skin area looks like it still needs to be trimmed.The tech left me said I was done and walked away leaving me with to the toe separators on. I'm used to them removing them and sliding your foot into your sanda. I walked up front to pay, no thank you for coming in or goodbye. Terrible service. There were 3 customers in the entire salon, rows of empty stations.Why not give a great pedicure and take your time to keep my business in the future?! What was the rush?And $36 dollars for the least expensive pedicure service and that's what I received,what a joke!Just bizarre...cold vibe from all working there.
