I gave my credit card and did not pay attention. I got my bill and I was charged $30, so I called and they said it was probably because I picked a brand that stayed on longer, so it cost more. This salon is 5 mins from my house and I decided to check it out based on reviews. The shop is clean and well maintained with a good selection of regular and no chip colors. No chip has been my preference for a long time so that is what I went with. The work is awesome, the second time I went to them, I threw out a design I wanted (learning some places really don't do designs for no chip) and they really put a lot of heart into it! I walked away a happy client. My first no chip was $45 and the second $50; a little pricey but again, the work was awesome in my opinion.

Today I walked in for my appointment with Choice Nails for a gel manicure & pedicure & I'm so glad I did. From the moment I sat down in the chair for my pedicure, I knew it was going to be a good experience. Kim was my nail tech. She was friendly and extremely accommodating. She even took my socks on & for me! - granted my finger nails were soaking in acetone as we were also removing my previous gel manicure. Kim was very gentle with my hands & feet, but extremely efficient and focused. You can tell she is dedicated to her work. She payed close attention to the details and it shows. She did a beautiful job on both my finger & toe nails. I kid you not, I walked out today with the best gel manicure of my life. However, this did not surprise me too much as this salon only does regular & gel manicures (they do not do acrylic nails here). The entire staff were all very friendly. Prices are fair. For the first time in a long time I walked out of a nail salon feeling happy with how my nails turned out. It's safe to say I got my moneys worth. Choice Nails gained a new loyal customer as I enjoyed a great experience here.

I was easily able to make a same day appointment. When I arrived, no one was there and the shop was locked! I waited a few more minutes & called the shop and they said someone would be there soon. I'm guessing this place only has someone there if they have a scheduled appointment - however it definitely frustrated me that my nail tech was late. Once inside, I was impressed with the color selection and how nice and clean the salon was. The tech did a great job on my gel manicure and my pedicure. However, since I was the only one there she rushed me to leave and didn't check if my toes were dried- so by the time I got home all of the polish was smeared. I tried calling to schedule a time to get it fixed however never received a call back on the voicemail I left.

I've typically had great experiences here, but I've noticed the last few times have been subpar at best. As other reviewers have mentioned, they frequently run behind for their appointments. I think they take in walk ins without actually looking at their schedule. Quality will very much depend on your tech. I've had dip manicures last 4 weeks with no chips, or they've lasted less than 2 weeks & have pulled up/cracked on multiple nails. The main issue I experienced today. The manager told one of her new techs to charge me $10 extra for my service, due to my shape and length. When I asked her for clarification, she was incredibly rude and made it seem like it was my fault that I didn't know of this. I explained to her that in my year of coming here I've never been charged extra for my length or my shape. She tried to gaslight me by saying my nails were never this long because I probably wasn't getting dip before, which is true, but I've had this length of nails now for over six months?!? The tech, Shirley or Shelly, (I can't remember) was incredibly apologetic, offered me a $5 discount and did a fantastic job on my nails. The issue I have is with the manager. She is rude, crass, and repeatedly talked down to me. I'll be looking for a new nail salon
