2nd time I've been here. First time was great! This time was a terrible experience. Hairdresser spoke non-stop and was dropping the f word everywhere. Took 10 min to do my root touch up. Was supposed to do highlights she has recommended at the first visit. Not done. Did not dry my hair as she was busy. Asked twice for a hairdryer to do it myself. Was not a relaxing enjoyable experience it should have been. $65 for that?! read more

Let's just say that I went there for a service other than a hair cut, and I was a bit disappointed. The woman helping me was actually very nice and friendly, but I wasn't happy with the results. It wasn't for lack of effort, but I felt the quality just wasn't there. Arete is a new salon, so it is gorgeous...exposed brick loft like space, very open and airy. Laura has a natural gift for color, cuts and styling and Dominika does excellent facials and waxing.
