2nd time I've been here. First time was great! This time was a terrible experience. Hairdresser spoke non-stop and was dropping the f word everywhere. Took 10 min to do my root touch up. Was supposed to do highlights she has recommended at the first visit. Not done. Did not dry my hair as she was busy. Asked twice for a hairdryer to do it myself. I visited Arete Salon after purchasing a Living Social coupon, and I couldn't help but thinking that you really get what you pay for. Let's just say that I went there for a service other than a hair cut, and I was a bit disappointed. The woman helping me was actually very nice and friendly, but I wasn't happy with the results. It wasn't for lack of effort, but I felt the quality just wasn't there. I was hoping to find a new salon for a sometimes expensive service, and yet I'm still willing to pay more if I can better results. read more

I bought the living social for a brazilian. She was 20 minutes late because of the person infront of me then she used the same stick on me (which did start off brand new) over and over again which you are not supposed to do!!! 1 stick on every person?
