I visited Emily at Enzo Salon & Spa for a simple blunt cut, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. I asked for a light trim, yet about four inches were cut off, the ends were uneven, and my hair was repeatedly flat-ironed without heat protectant, causing visible damage. The billing experience was even worse. At checkout, I asked for my $78 haircut to be totaled at $100 (a $22 tip). Instead, a $100 tip was added -- bringing the total to $178, which is a 128% tip. This was done without any confirmation or verification on their end. I didn't realize the mistake until I checked my receipt days later, and the amount was so unreasonable that it felt dishonest. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I contacted the owner, Julie Campbell, I was told that a $78 refund had been issued. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the error.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Because of the service issues and the incorrect charge, I cannot recommend this salon. I have been seeing Josh for cuts and highlights for almost two years now, and I've never had a bad experience. My hair has looked great even during those awkward times of trying to grow my hair out from one style to another, which is quite the challenge! His attention to detail and his skill set are beyond - he is the best hair stylist I've ever seen. And he always listens to what my "hair goals" are, and we discuss them to ensure I'm happy with the outcome (what do you like about this style, how much time are you willing to spend on your hair, etc.). And unlike other stylists I've seen over the years, becoming a regular client has not made him complacent in any way - he takes as much time with my hair today as he did during those initial visits. When my regular salon and stylist became impossible to get into, I decided to book an appointment at Enzo. I grew up in the area, and come to Enzo for cuts and color through the early 2000s. I decided it was worth the drive to come back. I was able to book an appointment online through the MindBody app, and even better- I was able to book a Sunday appointment! I love that they have Sunday availability. Diane cut my hair, and I was so pleased with the results. She did exactly what I asked- cleaned up my hair and layers without significant loss of length. I have a ton of hair, and it takes some skill to debulk it. She did a fantastic job. She's also very personable and enjoyable to talk to. My aging hair doesn't combine well with my naturally dark hair color, so I decided to come neck to start the process of lightening my hair to more naturally blend grays. Diane was booked (not surprising, since she's so talented), so I booked an appointment with Abby. Abby also listened to my concerns, completed a test strand on my box color, and spent the time to perfect every strand on my head. As I mentioned, I have a ton of long hair, and she patiently foiled me for hours. I also love that she picked up that I am a reader, and encouraged me just relax and enjoy my book while she worked her magic. My hair turned out beautifully; not a gray in sight, and a nice balance between warm and cool tones that will hide gray growth between treatments. had previously gone to this salon twice (both for just a haircut) and had Becky, who did a pretty good job listening to what I wanted and executing that, and then Diane. Diane was very kind, but my hair turned out nothing like it had in my reference photo. I wanted long layers and face framing pieces. Unfortunately the face framing pieces go back probably 3 inches from my hairline then the rest of my hair drops down with little to no blending to integrate the different lengths. Prior to this, my hair was at my lower back and I have plenty of hair, so there wasn't much that should have prevented her from being able to cut it properly. Overall I'm just very disappointed for a $67 cut to have gone so poorly, which was over $80 after tipping. read more

I had a bad experience at Enzo's. I went for waxing. Instead of doing it correctly, the young woman broke the hairs off! I had hair growing back in under 2 days as well as massive bruising. I called numerous times, and was promised the manager would call me back so I could come back in to get a correctly done wax. The manager never called! Needless to say, I will never go back nor recommend Enzo's to anyone. I hope they don't delete this review too. read more

My first visit was great. I had a color and cut. I was told the color would only be $60 to maintain going forward, which was nice. When I returned later for a color touch up, they charged me $110. I had to call and complain b/c the stylist told me it would only be $60 - that's why I came back. They said they had overcharged me for a blow dry and style that I never received and they gave me $30 back. But I also discovered that they charged me $20 for some conditioner that the stylist used that I DID NOT ASK FOR. She mentioned she was using it, but I had NO IDEA there would be any charge. I thought she was going to try to ask me if I wanted to buy some of the conditioner after the session, like they do sometimes to sell product. IF YOU GO HERE, MAKE SURE YOU ASK AT EVERY TURN WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE YOU FOR. I won't be going back to people I can't trust. read more
