It wasn't a great experience with Lizzy. It got off to a bad start when I sat at the front for 15 whole mins before she came up.. she wasn't working on another client, was just in the back or something. If you can't start at the scheduled time you can at least greet the customer or let them know you'll be with them shortly.. Not to mention the other stylists saw me come in and sit there for 15 mins without saying a word or acknowledging me at all. I was just about to walk out when she came to get me but I decided to let it go and give her a chance since I really needed a hair cut and have been searching for a salon, as I am new to the area. Right off the bat, she was not even remotely friendly or welcoming, no apology for the wait. Frankly, she acted like it was a pain that I was there for a service. The haircut itself wasn't the worst.. not great but passable.. but the shampoo was horrible. Very rough, soaked my shirt. She rinsed out the shampoo and told me we were done. I was paying attention closely because of how bad the shampoo was going so I know she didn't do conditioner. I asked about conditioner and she argued that she did it but if I wanted it to sit on my head for second she would do it. I assured her that she hadn't done that step but she rudely argued again.. pretty unprofessional and embarrassing to do in front of other stylist and customers. Recently got my hair cut there. The lady did a hack job on my hair. I showed her an inspiration pic which my hair doesn't look at all like it. Both sides have uneven layers with layers cut as high as my eyes! My hair looks so thin and completely unevenly cut. Horrible experience. read more

I went to this salon myself and loved it. First I had Lizy and she did a great cut for me. I came back and another women did a balayage for me and a cut and it was great! It is a little bit pricey but I did look around and it's not unreasonable for the average in the area. So when my mother called me saying my 14 year old niece wanted to try highlights for her first time ever, I recommended this salon and based on the availability we booked an appointment with lizy again and I both wrote in the appointment what was to be done as well as spoke to her personally. My mother wasn't able to come with my niece herself but my father went with her. He has zero knowledge when it comes to hair and my mother really should have gone but we had explained what was to be done so should be simple right? Wrong. While they were there my niece was talked into a Full foil highlight (this was not what was explicitly discussed nor was it allowed and was Much more expensive. My niece was not paying for this herself). She was also talked into toner - something which was added on at extra cost when it's normally just part of the process at Any other salon Ive ever been to and I wouldn't have recommended it for her anyhow. Plus she was charged extra for a blow dry for having longer hair and was not told it would cost extra for this. Usually if you're getting your hair processed, drying it is also part of the job to ensure everything came out correctly. I understand if you do it different, ok, but you need to explain things you charge extra for before doing it. Especially if that client is a 14 year old girl who has no idea what's normal or not. I truly feel my niece was taken advantage of. Her mother and my mother are both Very upset about this and feel the same. If the parents aren't there you need to do what was discussed. Period. If you aren't sure you need to call and get the ok first. This isn't an adult this is a child. This stylist has lost out on the money she would have made from so many more future appointments she could have had because she decided to take advantage of a 14 year old girl. 2 stars because the business has nothing to do with the stylists = 2 different things. 1st appointment with lizzy, good. 2nd appointment.... definately way no. Inspiration pic both visits AND clear communication of growing it out. I left with hair way too short, completely uneven length ALL AROUND on all sides, an obvious HOLE CHUNK on left side of my hair behind my ear, unbalanced making it VERY difficult to style. Gloria did an amazing job with my hair! I have thicker and long hair! She did amazing! I did a treatment and it smoothed my hair beautifully. When I went with her my hair had dry ends now is healthy and manageable. The best part is she knows how to do beach waves !!!! Without the curly iron! It looks so natural. This was my first facial so I don't have much to compare it to- hence only four stars. I was able to schedule a facial with Juli within a few days of calling. Turns out, taking care of your skin is important so I was needing a clean slate and some extractions. I was greeted nicely by Juli's partner; she took my coat and grabbed me a glass of water. The actual facial was great. Juli was great at explaining the process and letting me know what I could do to alleviate some issues. She uses a line of products but did not push them on me. The experience was soothing and she made great conversation. My skin looks great! I hope to return again to make this a 5 star review. read more

Came here for a no chip gel manicure and was very disappointed. Don't remember her name but the lady who does nails there only has about 10 colors to choice from which is insane. Every nail place I have ever been to has at least 50 different colors. Some have over 100. So I picked a color I didn't even like. When I mentioned to her that I wouldn't come back unless she got more colors she said she would try to do that. She was very nice and talkative but my nails looked like shit to be blunt. One was crooked and the paint job was horrible. Even my fiancé who knows nothing about nails made a comment on them. They might be good for hair but not for nails! Terrible Booking Experience. My teen daughters wanted hairstyle changes, so I went online and requested next day appointments with 2 stylists, selecting available time slots for both. One was declined within a couple of hours, with an apology for double booking. I called and left a message with the salon to see if anyone else would be available at that time. No reply. I tend not to get haircuts very often....partially since I like my long hair and never seem to get a decent haircut that I am happy with when I leave the salon. I also never get a good blow out and for the price I typically pay for cuts I want to walk out of the salon not having to go home and tend to frizzy hair. I just left the salon and what a mistake! My normal girl was completely booked at my salon so I decided to give Janea at Chrysalis a try and I will NEVER go back. I got there early for my 1pm appointment. I could tell she was moving slowly since it took her 20 mins to mix my color. Before she started I told her I needed to leave by 3:30 to pick my kids up from school. It took her 2 1/2 hours to do the color. She was barely done with my cut so I left with wet hair! She still charged me full price and never offered any apologies. Well, I just finished blow drying my hair at home and it is an godawful mousy brown color all over even though my appointment was for a highlights/lowlights partial. At the time I walked in for my appointment, I was light blonde. I wish I could get the last 5 hours of my life back and my $118.00! I wish I didn't have to give this one any stars. For the longest time I struggled with stubborn, embarassing acne.
