I really had hoped for a special evening at Enzo's for New Years Eve. But we were disappointed. The space was cramped with all the windows closed due to the rain. The bar was crowded and busy, the space we were seated in was quiet but cramped. Our server Cathy was just okay. The food was most disappointing. First of all the menu was very ordinary and limited. My linguini vongole was passable not great, the linguini was not good. My wife's pollo alfredo was ordinary. Our friends both ordered eggplant stacks. The dishes arrived cold and took a long time to re-serve. The only thing good was the creme brûlée and the tiramisu. All in all a disappointing evening. read more

We love coming to Enzo's when we're in La Quinta. We were in town a couple nights early for our family Christmas Eve dinner so made a reservation at Enzo's. It was also my birthday. Jose had waited on us before and was my Late father-in-law's favorite server. He is so warm and attentive. We started with drinks and then moved on to romaine wedge and polpette. Both were excellent. Mains were melanzana parmigiana stack, salmon and fettuccini mare. All were perfectly cooked and delicious. Love the freshly made fettuccini. It makes such a difference. There are two dining rooms, situated on either side of a central patio. There is some outdoor seating on a patio overlooking Desert Club Drive. The Food and ambiance are really nice. It's a very pretty and authentically Italian brick oven feeling restaurant. The chicken on the Penne Vodka was a bit cold, but the pasta was nice and warm. The Woodford Reserve Old fashioned was really balanced. The Rotisserie Chicken was herb forward (which is nice) and the Pasta Alfredo was so fresh and well made. The Mare seafood Is solid. The Papperdale Bolognase was really tasty. We added Alfredo sauce on the side to make it more of a pink sauce. The food was great but it took a little salt and pepper to make it more flavorful. The best part of Enzo's was the service. A kind manager named Angela was so kind and engaging. She was willing to move us to a nice fireplace table since we were outside. Also...They have my favorite water - Aqua Panna. Our server Chelsea was great and attentive. She made the experience beautiful. I would suggest reservations, as this is a LaQuinta jewel. read more

The outside of this restaurant is very attractive and leads you into the ambiance your about to encounter inside. It is very rat pack old Palm Springs vibes inside. We sat at the bar for a light lunch and a glass of wine; we were there during happy hour and had plenty of really good options to choose from. The house wine is part of the Happy hour and I asked about the wine and found out it is part of the Rutherford wineries in Napa....excellent item on a happy hour menu. I had the spaghetti and meatball and it was just the right portion. We also started with the calamari, probably some of the best calamari I have had in a while. The bartenders were very hospitable and shared the history of the restuarant with us. Alot of regulars but you will still feel welcomed. read more

Food was great. I had the romaine wedge and my wife had the tomato bruschetta. For entrees we had the salmon and I had the fettuccine with sausage. Both really tasty. The server was super nice. Had an amazing dining experience! The caprese salad really hit the spot - fresh mozzarella was delicious, ripe tomatoes, and basil came together perfectly. The penne vodka was also incredibly delicious, I did add a little more chili pepper flakes because I like my pasta spicy. Peak Season dining; make a reservation great outdoor and indoor seating options but the bar is great. LOCATION: In Old Town La Quinta, lots of parking you'll find something but make sure you get a seat first, not a lot of good waiting areas. FACILITY: Older, darker, and very appropriate for an Italian restaurant with a Palm Springs vibe. MENU: Excellent options which are in Italian but simple explanations of each dish. Most options are in the $25.00 range. pappardelle Bolognese and spaghetti Gabriella are good options in the main dining area. FOOD PREP: Pretty good, nothing fancy but well above average. Italian food sometimes is difficult to plate. This is not a Mario's, not even close so enjoy. FOOD QUALITY: Happy hour pizzas are exceptional, perfect thin crunchy crust without asking. LIBATIONS: Great place to kick back and enjoy old and new friends. WAITSTAFF: A+ have really had a lot of fun with the staff here... they take no BS so behave yourself or for Get About It. Guessing since we only visit on peak season or hours we get happier receptions... OVERALL VALUE: EXCELLENT, what more is there to say. TIP: OKAY Listen up. If you're going to visit off season when it is hot as &ell outside, try and not sit near the kitchen (to right of entry) unless you want to keep vert warm. Finally tried Enzo's for happy hour and we enjoyed it very much! It was Wednesday - they have wine Wednesdays with half off their bottles of wine - but we wanted cocktails. The bartender was friendly and made good suggestions; her cocktails were on point. We shared a wedge salad which was good and the eggplant parm stack, which was just okay. There's plenty of other desert gems, especially around Old Town La Quinta, but Enzo's just isn't the spot. The patio is alluring, sure, but the many restaurants have a lovely patio. Take it from me--this place is a pass. I've dined here many times with aunts and uncles and each time the quality of the food and service gets worse. It's disappointing. Wasn't greeted by the hostess whose podium is setup between a small gate opening. I was a bit bothered. The food was bland and boring and small. Decent price for portion I will say, but not a full meal--and certainly not worth eating. Between the two of us, the side of bread served with the pasta was vastly different in size and tasted and looked like it had been soaked in oil. Hard to chew. The salad I had (not pictured) was definitely a bagged salad. And lastly, the pasta I order was so boring and not worth eating that I only ate half. Surprised with 6 cooks in that kitchen, that no one could make a good bowl of pasta. Again, pass on this place. It's not worth it! read more

Took my girlfriend out for a date night, the vibe in there is amazing. Jose was an absolutely incredible server and took care of us very nicely. We got the Ravioli and Lasagna which tasted wonderful, you can tell it's home cooked. Only downside, I wasn't a huge fan of the Cesar Salad which was 13 dollars a piece. That wasn't disclosed.
