I made a yelp just to leave a review of how bad my experience was. I had a very disappointing experience here. My partner and I were seated and then completely ignored by our server. We waited for 15 minutes without being acknowledge in any way. What made this especially uncomfortable was that every other table around us (who were white)was being attended to promptly. Our waiter looked at us multiple times and still never came over. The only person who was kind and professional was the hostess, who did her best, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the experience. We were getting strange looks but we didn't not expect the same energy from the employees. We then decided to leave. Whether intentional or not, the situation felt discriminatory and left us feeling unwelcome. Dining out should not make anyone feel invisible. I hope management takes this seriously and looks into how guests are treated on the floor. Such a shame would've left no stars if it was an option. read more

Bucatini is a long time favorite of mine when in the desert. A bit out of the way is why we don't frequent this location as much as we like to but when we do make it, it's a treat. The location itself is nice, spacious outdoor seating and cozy but big inside. They have a proper bar but we like sitting at the booths near the windows. Their outdoor patio is perfect during those cooler months. Staff are nice and friendly here. I appreciate that they get you in and out here but also don't make you feel rushed. The food comes out at a good pace and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Bucatini has one of my favorite sangrias in the desert! I love this sangria, it's strong and the right amount of sweetness. Always my go to drink here. Normally I opt for their pasta specials and they always seem to hit. I had one of their ravioli specials with a creamy pink sauce and sausage, it was absolutely delicious. My mom's a big fan of their pizza, it's cheesy and a solid option for those pizza lovers in your life. The food here is delicious. Overall this is a great spot if you're craving a more lively Italian restaurant with friendly staff and a large menu. read more

Nice little place. It wasn't too busy on a friday night. We were seated right way. We ordered pizza and pesto pasta and a vegetarian cesear salad. The portions was definitely huge. Loved the salad that was my favorite. Pasta was okay it was fresh but lacked flavor. Pizza was good as well. Drinks were okay. They gave out some bread basket that I didnt like it was slice bread toasted in a fancy way. The service was slow. I think there was only one waiter going around. It was all right, but the server told me other dishes that I was looking at were probably more popular, but I wanted to give it a try anyhow.. I think I should've listened to my server. My brother had the Bolognese his wife had a different pasta dish, and I forgot what my mom had but all three of them loved their dishes. Thought they were really good portion wise. When we arrived at the restaurant, it seemed to be in total chaos. We had planned to go to a concert just down the road. When we got to our table, our server told us not to order any pizzas because there was only one gentleman working the pizza kiln. They were backed up. He also told us the kitchen was in total chaos so only order a salad and an appetizer. We ordered the Italiana salad, which was excellent. It took about 20 minutes to get the salad. After that, our appetizer never came and the server had to repeatedly go back to the kitchen to check. We ordered the rice Balls. When they finally arrived, they were frozen in the middle. At that point we had to leave to get to the concert on time. I saw the manager moving about the restaurant and he looked completely out of it. He never once checked on our table to see how we were doing. Knowing that there's a concert venue just down the road one would think that you would plan ahead for an influx of customers. We came here for a family dinner and even though the waitress seemed a little rough on the edges, she was really nice and gave us really great service. The food came out fairly quickly, we all got various items on the menu and each liked what we got and they had a great sangria as well as good beers and decent wine from the bar. We were staying with friends out in Palm Desert and his wife wanted to try this restaurant because her usual place had burnt down and she needed an alternative. The restaurant was very nice, clean and had great ambiance. We were seated quickly and our drink orders taken. Our server was really sweet and had some recommendations. We all tried something different and our portions were very large and the food was exceptional. We all had left overs to take home that made for a quick easy lunch the next day. With large portions, you would think that it would be mostly pasta but they surprisingly gave a lot of meat in each of our meals. The meatballs were ok, a little too much filler and missing some seasoning. The sauce was good, not marinara, but good. I loved the fresh toasted bread basket with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For the dessert, I was torn between ice-cream or tiramisu. I ended up ordering the tiramisu and it was still a little frozen from the freezer, but still delicious! So. I am glad I didn't read the somewhat lukewarm reviews for Bucatini before spotting it across the street from our hotel. We would have missed out on a lovely (and convenient) dining experience that we both thoroughly enjoyed. We were seated promptly and our waiter "Julio" was very professional and attentive. We both enjoyed our entrees which were a well-prepared pappardelle bolognese and a pesto pasta with chicken added in. (See picture.) Julio was great about checking in on us and refilling my lemonade before I even asked. Honestly, this would be an easy " slam dunk" 5 star review, but we found the bread that was served before our meal was a bit peculiar and uninspired. Also, our Sangria was not very authentic or well mixed - the flavor being very unbalanced. Found this place close to our hotel. Went early evening and thrre were lots of tables available so we were seated right away. Restaurant is big with open air and outside seating. We ordered Calamari Fritti, Prosciutto Flatbread and linguini Alla Vongole. The Calamar Fritti came out fast. It was not crispy but it was tender and good. We requested a non spicy sauce so it came out with a maribara sauce. The sauce was really good with lots of chopped basil. We wiped that out quickly. Prosciutto flatbread was just ok. The Vongole was good with lots of clams. The sauce was very flavorful and not salty at all. It was just perfect. Service was good. We came here to get food to go. The bartender bragging how the calamari here is the best all around to my wife since she was craving it. We got meatballs, calamari and the smoked salmon salad. The calamari, a sad portion as my wife would say it, looked smaller than a portion of onion rings, 7 small rings. The meatballs there were only 3 balls for $15, wife said they tasted old. My salad wasn't bad, but if the salad is called smoked salmon please have move than one sliver of salmon, there was more bacon and apples than anything. Call it a bacon apple salad please. We were a party of 7 and were seated immediately. Service was fast and we ordered drinks and our entrees within 15 min of sitting down. Food came out so fast that it beat our appetizers to the table, which was a little odd but we were okay with it. I ordered the Sicily martini which was too sweet and artificial tasting for me, but the food was great. I had the gnocchi and the texture and sauce were perfect. We also ordered the garlic flatbread, cheese pizza, fettuccine alfredo, and chicken parmigiana. Server was friendly as well and patient with our table that had 5 kids. I ordered a chopped salad through a delivery service that was supposed to be several kinds of lettuce, salami cheese, etc. It turned out to be a pile of field greens, fine, but not what they offered. The salami was one thin sliced piece that decorated. There were chunks of cheese though. Im on a fixed income and splurged $32. For that oversold hyped dish that wasn't even close to being chopped. I feel like I've been lured into a dark alley and mugged. This is the second Italian restaurant that has ripped me off.
