I have been dining at Stuft Pizza for years but the manager Ryan and server Bruce truly went above and beyond tonight. I drove 3 hours for the gluten free brownie! From the moment we entered the restaurant the hostess was so accommodating and polite. Food came out timely and was so good! When it came time for dessert all I wanted was my gluten free brownie. Bruce and Ryan both triple checked after finding out they were out and were able to find one more and made sure it got dropped off at the table . This truly made my night and probably the rest of the month they were so kind and I would definitely be coming back based on the service this evening. As a team they truly do go above and beyond . Came here for lunch and it was buzzing! We were able to go right to the bar to get a seat. The bar area is what you'd expect...lots of energy with t.v.'s on the wall behind the bar. Service was good- Pizza was the star of the show. We ordered the personal pizza on the lunch menu and it was plenty big. Thin crust with fresh toppings. 2 are included on the lunch special. My friend was disappointed in the roast beef sandwich since it was cold. My ahi tuna salad was nicely presented...heads up-it comes with lots of bean sprouts...the chopped cobb salad was super tasty and fresh...we all were raving about this gem. read more

It's too bad they haven't improved much since my last visit. The service was poor and the pricey food was barely average at best. The server did not come around once to offer us refills on our drinks or even inquire how our food was. We thought sitting on the patio would be nice as the weather was beautiful however it was spoiled by the exhaust coming from all the delivery trucks driving by. The fish and chips were skimpy and boring. Had zero flavor unless you used the jar tartar sauce or ketchup. The individual sized pizza is the same as the small pizza and both only come in thin crust which my friend was not a fan of. They use premade, not homemade pizza dough. read more

Been coming here, while on vacation, for over 10 years! Stuft used to be one of our favorite spots, but over the years it has become ordinary and lack-luster, in terms of prices and food quality. Happy Hour is 3-6 everyday, and in every seat, which is nice. However, the drink prices especially, aren't a happy hour price...$7 for a well drink doesn't make me happy. Service is generally pretty good, but we have found many more happy hour gems in La Quinta, and the surrounding areas, to keep coming back here. It's been fun but time to move on. read more

I can manage to find parking. Free parking. The service is always warm and welcoming-even know there is sometimes a wait. Big, open place with lots of room for group seating. Join the waitlist before arriving! Was seamless for our party of nine. Had multiple TVs to watch the games. Our waitress was attentive and kind - even offering suggestions to our order when asked her opinion. Only reason for three stars is the food was just mediocre. We had a few pizzas, chicken wings, Thai noodles and tacos. While all edible, none of it had a "wow" factor and I wouldn't recommend this place for their food. But great spot if you have people who just want an easy meal with a good bar selection. read more

The pizza is really great! You have to try Everything But The Kitchen Sink, lol, creative with the name. The appetizers are very good as well. There's also plenty of other items on the menu to choose from. The service was good, our waiter answered our questions and was relatable. I love the vibe, it gave elevated pizza spot. They don't take resys, however, they'll text you when your table is ready so you can mill around while you wait. We shared the following: -dinner salad ($10.99): romaine and lettuce with tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and croutons with ranch -Southwestern eggrolls ($16.49): chicken, Monterey Jack, black beans, corn, onions, bell peppers + jalapeños in a flour tortilla with chipotle ranch dipping sauce -half Maui: pepperoni, Canadian bacon, pineapple, tomatoes, green onions + cilantro -half the classic stuff special: pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, red onions, bell peppers + fresh tomato First of all, the ranch is the kind you find at a salad buffet. A bit runny, but the perfect consistency over salad. It's a very solid dinner salad. As for the egg rolls - these were *chef's kiss.* if you're a fan of the Americanized egg rolls, these are for you. The egg rolls remind me of the ones you'd find at any major chain (Cheesecake Factory or Chilis). The crispy flour tortilla is stuffed with tiny morsels of all things Southwestern. Dipping it into the chipotle ranch mayo adds a nice creamy layer to each bite. Really fun way to start a meal. The pizza is so damn good. The crust was crusting - it had a nice crispy undercarriage with the perfect amount of chew. I don't usually care for it, but this one is excellent. We got a take out pie--Large and regular crust and that's prob the best part--their crust was thick and well made with hints of Parmesan cheese. This is our favorite restaurant in the desert. We come out to our place in Indian Wells about every other week and we always go to this Stuft in La Quinta. We had Bruce the last time and he was excellent! On top of everything very quickly. Also, Kevin was his helper and he was so good. He would remove anything that was done being used. The food is so good! Ahi Poke Stake has now become our favorite but no matter what you order it's so good! The pizzas are excellent! We have been coming to Stuft Pizza for 4 years. Last night we had the worst experience. Bruce was our server and he did not provide us with his best customer service. We waited about 20 minutes for Bruce to greet us at the table and provide water. The starter salads came out before the drinks. He took our entree order and then disappeared. No be one offered us more water or a second round of alcohol drinks. Once our pizza came out we had to ask a different waiter for plates. Bruce never came to our table to check on us or our drinks. Once we were done eating we had to flag down Bruce after waiting again for about 20 minutes and ask for the bill. Bruce brought the bill and then disappeared again. We waited about 15 minutes then asked a different waiter to take our credit card. The service was horrible and our waiter Bryce did not care about his customers. Maybe Bruce should seek employment elsewhere if he is not happy with his current job as his customers service skills are not up to par. Bruce doesn't care about his job. Service was good and we enjoyed chatting with others while there. It gets rather busy, so we got there early. Thank you., They have an extensive menu: we had 3 appetizers. The Thai noodles, with shrimp.. which we ordered more to take home, the grilled artichoke, delicious, and the south west egg rolls. Devoured them! Delicious!! Show stopper,, their pizzas! Order what you like you can't go wrong!! We got the classic margarita, thick crust! They have so many options. The food , all is delicious. It's hard to know what not to like at this place! For starters they give you huge portions snd have an incredible variety of high-quality food items on the menu. Most importantly, the food is extremely tasty. Each piece of pizza feels like it could be a meal onto itself, especially because they don't skimp on toppings. I can't think of many places that would have such good prices for something like fish tacos and then add to that value by using actual Seabass instead of the usual low priced cod. Stuft is usually solid, which is why this visit was disappointing. I placed a pickup order for the 6:56-7:06 pm window and arrived at 7:06. I was told it wasn't ready, so I waited. After about 30 minutes, I asked again and was told it had actually been ready the whole time but wasn't noticed -- the hostess was busy counting money from the tip jar. A quick "oops, sorry" after that long of a wait was frustrating. I also requested no mayo on the club sandwich, and it came loaded with mayo -- oozing through the bread. And the cheesecake was terrible -- as Prue Leith would say, "not worth the calories." Hoping this was just an off night, because they're usually better than this. read more
