I decided to stop here on my way home from work since it was open until 7pm and the closest to my house. I showed the nail technician the first photo and said I really like this one, can we please do something like this? All I got was a no. He then said it was because they didn't have the gold to make the lines. I told them it didn't have to be gold; it could be silver, white, black etc. and I still just got "no." Thinking this was very strange, I settled on the second picture (pink/white ombré). Which is still very cute. Now, I understand and am not delusional to think it was going to look 100% like the photo.. but it wasn't even close. I also asked for short nails because I wear contacts a lot and also have a very active toddler. Long nails just don't work for me. Long story short, I was very unhappy. He didn't listen to me at all on what I wanted. He was rude and dismissive. Looking back, I think he refused to do something like the first photo because the ombré was more expensive. I got my toes done as well but I paid $130 which was 100% way overpriced. I wish I would be able to receive a refund, but I will definitely not be spending my money there ever again. read more

This was my first time getting a gel manicure and I am thoroughly disappointed with the quality of their work. They seemed to rush the application. My gel started to lift in the back after two days and my hair would get caught on the gel (I don't know if that means the gel polish was old or they did something incorrect with the application.) My friend had a full set but a few of their acrylics popped off after two days. My sister's nails seem to be doing fine. She had a young man do her nails and he did a great job because the gel is still cemented on her nails. They were fairly friendly with my sister, friend, and me, but they did not put the time or care into the actual service they provided. read more

I truly hate leaving bad reviews... but sadly was very bad experience wish I saw reviews before I went and paid $55 & not well spent. Nails came out uneven in length and shape. Got cat eye and she wasn't best and redid each nail cause she wasn't getting it correct so took hour and half to get nails done. She was super nice!! My first time getting dipped polish and probably my last. Took a very long time and they were not neat at all. The man who did my nails began to rush once he noticed I was getting tired. (I would have rather taken longer and gotten better results). They are not awful but he did not clean them up after he was done. They look unfinished. Not worth $50. read more

Came in around 6pm on a weeknight for a full acrylic set. The children's play zone is right outside their door and the noise was horrendous! Staff was friendly and service was prompt but that's where all the positive things I could say end. He did very little filing and removing of cuticles by hand, rather using the power tools for everything. This resulted in over 17 separate cuts over my fingers. Now, two later six of the nails are growing out crooked- really crooked and four of the cuts were severe enough that the scabs are still present and painful. I'll not be giving them a second chance to destroy my fingers. read more

I went to epic nails for a fill and a pedicure on this past Thursday. There were only 2 people working then. I told the woman exactly what I wanted for my pedicure. She did an awesome job! My feet look amazing! The older woman did my fill. 5 minutes in to it 4 ladies came in and wanted pedicures. Right then she started rushing through the service. Skipping steps such as buffing, using a gel base coat, and keeping my hands under the UV light for the required time. I have cuts, actually it's from the drill, so I suppose it's that she ground my skin off of both of my thumbs. :-( I did express my concerns about her putting massive amounts of acrylic on my nails, and the missing steps but she said not to worry about it. I don't want my nails really thick. And they're so uneven and bumpy. I'll be going to get my money back today. I've never had such a bad experience getting my nails done. Purchased a Groupon for gel manicure at Epic Nails for myself and a gift for a friend. The manicure was ok but lasted less than 1 1/2 weeks. However, I noticed the price listed in salon for gel manicure was cheaper than the Groupon. Nail tech said yes, that's true, just come direct here and don't buy Groupon. My friend however, forgot so Groupon expired. She immediately called for appt. and was rudely told No, they will not accept it for face value. I than called and was treated extremely rude, I tried to read her the policy but she wouldn't listen and kept repeating NO! Luckily Groupon refunded my $$ and stated an investigation will be done and a call to Epic Nails asking why they violated their agreement. Never will I ever go back there. I wouldn't even give this place one star. I got my nails done Thursday night and by Friday the gel polish was already peeling off. I went in Friday to get them fixed and now on Saturday a couple are chipped. Very poor quality and they rushed everything. Do not waste your money! read more

Epic nails is the SHITTIEST service I have ever received. The man doing my nails didn't even talk to me, smile at me, or give me the time of day. He rushed through my acrylic nails, and just in days they came off. He put my nails under a LED light to make them dry and he hurried my out of the store before they got done drying and ALL my sparkly nail polish on my fake nails smeared off. I went to go get them fixed at a local store near my aunts house and the guy fixing my nails couldn't believe how shitty my nails were. Worst fucking service and I will NEVER go back. read more

I just went in to get a gel pedicure. The polish continued to bubble and she had to redo several times. Because I was in a hurry after being in the chair over an hour she said I could come back to have it fixed but charged me full price!! I used to go to ken who was great but last two times had females that were rude, no conversation, poor quality and clipped the sides of my nails that caused 4 to crack all the way down so lost my length. Only when it was time to ask for a cash tip did she attempt to talk to me. Also didn't see instruments come out of sanitized box. How do we know if not just using on everyone without cleaning? I walked into the nail salon on a Saturday afternoon for a mani pedi. The staff was friendly and I did not have to wait to get in. They have a nice selection of polishes to choose from. Very relaxing. Prices were reasonable. My nails turned out great. No bubbles, cuts, or flaws. I would go back! read more

I had a good experience here. I was scared after reading some of the reviews, but I enjoyed myself. The girl who did my nails did a good job and we had a nice conversation. AWFUL experience. I first saw a deal on groupon and called the location to inquire about Groupon deal. Was advised if I came in they would honor the exact same price which was a LIE. Tried to find a color from the limited gel colors and was rushed by the nail technician. After he continued to breathe heavily as I tried to select a color I picked one out of discomfort! He painted a hand and I asked him if the color was purple as I had chosen a navy blue. I told him I did not like it before he started on my other hand and he grabbed my unpolished hand and started painting anyway completely avoiding my statement. I told him again I did not like the color. I asked if it was too late to change the color and he said YES. I then asked again if it was too late because I was seriously unhappy with the color after being rushed into picking a color. He asked with an attitude which color I wanted and painted over with new color without removing the old color. He shook his head the whole time with an attitude and said ok you can go once he had finished. I asked if I should wash my hand to clear excess product that was around my nails and he advised that I should do whatever I want. Please do not give this awful place any type of business. read more

I think that was one of the worst experiences i ever had. I bought a Groupon, came in, asked how long is the wait, manager said that i needed to scedule appointment but they can take me now. She started removing my nail polish and then other people started to walk in.. she stoped removing my nails and asked to wait for 10 min... well i had to wait for 50 minutes because they let 3 people who came after me, to go in front of me and its not like these people had an appointment. The manager lady was rude. The person who made my nails did a good job. I thought the point of groupon is to attract new customer who would come back later for the full price.. after the kind of treatment I will never come back even if it would be for free. read more
