Jared was always so prompt, professional, and informative when I worked with him to get our plumbing fixed. Not only did he call me back when he said he would, he would also follow up quickly if any of the times changed for the team to come out (which they only did once by 30 minutes). Jordan spent a whole day at our house fixing our septic issue and during these crazy times of COVID he made sure to wear a mask, gloves, and sanitize everything thoroughly. He went above and beyond by noticing issues with our water heater as well as helped to diagnose other issues he came upon that were not even connected to the original problem without charge. I can't thank Tingey enough for helping us out in a time when we really needed it and being so prompt. We selected Harris-Dudley after having several bids done as they seemed -- by far -- the most knowledgeable of those that bid, references were excellent and their bid was competitive. Customer service (5 out of 5) -- outstanding from start to finish. Responsive, consistently on time and on kept us informed throughout. The project was completed in the spring of 2015, so we were surprised in Nov 2015 on the morning of the first significant snow to get a call from Harris-Dudley to check on how well the system was working. That is a level of customer service and follow through that we were not expecting! Construction (5 out of 5) -- we had a lot of crews working onsite that required a fair bit of schedule coordination. Harris-Dudley was a pleasure to work with as they coordinated directly with the other crews onsite (concrete, stucco, etc) to slot their work in at the appropriate time. Product / results (5 out of 5) -- we were not entirely sure that a heated driveway made sense. We could not be more pleased with how well the system works and now after a fair number of winters, we're glad we decided to put in the system. It works exceptionally well. Harris-Dudley zoned the front steps and walkway separately, so that if we ever get ice on the walkway or front steps, we can just switch the snow melt system on just for that area. We don't miss the hassle of dealing with snow removal or having to have salt or chemicals spread on the front walk and steps to get rid of ice.

My friend called the local warehouse with the info off the box and found out how bad he was ripping us off. He ended up taking off $2,000.00 after being confronted but I still paid over 3 grand for a water heater. Fast forward.....Last week that new water heater quits working and the only reason I called him back is because he would have all of the warranty info etc. He said the parts would be under warranty but he would have to charge me labor for the work. BE AWARE! He charges $75.00 "truck charge" and that is per day. If he doesn't finish in one day it's another $75.00 each trip. Then he charges $125.00 an hour! He comes out and tears it apart. He says it has been leaking for years. I questioned how it had been installed. He blew up and was just going to leave me with a torn apart mess. He said " maybe you would like to just install it yourself". I asked if he was serious? He said he needed to go to the warehouse and get a part. When I asked what the price of the repair was going to be he kept saying "I charge BY THE HOUR NOT BY THE JOB!" He comes back and installs the part. He said now, it needs another part and I need to go back to the warehouse. He calls me and says the warehouse was closed so he would be returning tomorrow. So, here comes the second $75.00 truck charge. I guess you need a box truck to pick up a sensor? I told him this was all ridiculous! I do flooring and stated that I would never treat a customer this way. His reply was "well, you run your business how you want and I will run mine like I want to!" In the end he handed me a bill for $880.00 for a repair on a 3 year old water heater that he charged me over 3 grand for. I blew up! He relented and said ok, just for you I will reduce it to $500.00 does that sound ok? I said "no, it doesn't but your in control here". I paid him and told him to leave. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
