I used to love this place. Used to get my hair cut next door when supercuts was there when I was a kid. Started going to wings n things around 2000 in high school for lunch and turned a lot of people onto it. Place used to be dirty and empty back in the day. Well, it started getting more and more popular and was always a place I stopped at when visiting home after moving away. Today my experience was horrible. They not only hiked the prices up about $3 for a single meal but the girl at the counter was rude as hell! Waited a long time for my meal and the size of chicken is super small now too. Told her I've been a fan a long time and felt cheated and she was completely unapologetic. I know she isn't effected by customers being lost, but you just lost one. Add the fact that the only lyrics I can make out of the song playing by the kitchen as I walked to the bathroom was "I don't give a fuck". Well that point was made today. Been coming to this place for so long and today will be the last. I was so dissappointed on my to go order of 16 pcs. Tenderloin strips. Got home, counted the strips and found out it was missing 4 strips. Not only they were small, some of the strips were broken into pieces and dry ( not enough sauce). This place is not like it used to. I'd give this place a million thumbs down. Not recommended to anyone. So poor service and pricey too! read more

Ive been coming to wings n things for the last 10 years. The food is always amazing, when you are really in the mood for spicy chicken tenders/wings this is your spot! The many options for how hot you want to get are great, and the sides (which are delicious) dont distract from the main course. The place can get a little crowded but its well worth it, to me thats part of the charm of this place. You can order to go or eat in and whichever is great, you always get great food. The staff is great too, they are always friendly and make great reccomendations. During my last visit i had forgotten to order extra veggies and the employee at the register simply threw in an extra pack for free! I had a big order so it made it really easy to not have to make another purchase for something small. The staff is really good at taking phone orders too so if youre hungry and on your way home from work like i am often then just give them a quick call. My order was done in about 15 minutes which is great because thats about how far away i live from the restaurant. read more

I have been coming to this location for years. The wings/strips are delicious! The bread is amazing. The prices have definetly gone up over the years. The service has fluctuated over the years. Sometimes you will get a cashier who wishes they were elsewhere and others who are very nice. read more

Make sure you have PLENTY of time to wait. SLLLLOOOOOOOOW. But if you've got the time, the food is good. I'm not entirely convinced that service across the way at Buffalo Wild Wings -- a full service sit down -- wouldn't have been faster. And for only a few dollars more. read more

i thought the wings were good and good price but too greasy

This has to be the worst Wings-N-Things location I've ever been to. I ordered my usual 4 strip meal and whomever cooked the chicken didn't bother to let it dry a bit before adding the sauce, so the sauce wouldn't adhere to the chicken and the strips ended up sitting in a good cup or more of oil. Disgusting... I let the cashier know and rather than offering to tell the kitchen staff and have them re-make my order, she gave me an extra cup of sauce. Needless to say, having to dry my chicken before dipping it didn't quite taste the same. Also, the breadsticks were old and hard. This location must not be very busy if they don't have fresh breadsticks in the evening on the weekend. I'll stick to my local Wings-N-Things and stay clear from this place. read more

I'm sad, wings n things.... You've changed so much! The more popular a place gets, the higher the prices. The chicken has shrunk and the once huge breadsticks are now tiny. The food is very inconsistent- sometimes the chicken is bigger ,other times extremely small. Sometimes the breadsticks don't have that yummy garlic stuff on them. My friend's plate will look way different than mine ( hers will have bigger chicken or bigger breadsticks or vice versa). I really like this place but I wish it would go back to the way it was :( read more

We had never been here before and were asking questions about the menu and how it worked and at one point she literally rolled her eyes in front of us! Terrible. This is the second time I've been here and they give me the most soggy ass fries that were all sweaty from the paper bag they put them in. when I asked for a new fresh order of fries instead, the cashier replied to me with "they all are gonna be like that. We cook them in grease" Like what???? And who said anything about what it's cooked in, it being mashed potatoes instead of French fries is my issue here. A sign behind him saying "cooked to order", totally contradicts that he just mentioned to me all the fries are soggy normally... After a minute he finally went back and asked for a new order of fries, which I happily was willing to wait for.. Anyway fast forward, I get my fries and well what do you know, perfect as they should have been the first time. So I get home and realize there are no forks in my bag, okay fine simple mistake. But First bite into my 2nd mild BONELESS TENDERLOIN Strip just to stab the roof of my mouth with a fucking bone. Damn right a 4 pc. of tenderloins strip and their lazy asses settled for a chicken wing with bones in my meal and figured if they covered it with enough sauce I wouldn't notice? I just don't understand how that could make a mistake like that? 3 boneless and one with bone, NICE....I'm sticking to the wings n things in vista. Super bowl Sunday and no wings!!!!!! We called in our order yesterday morning ( Sat) for pick up at 2:30 Sunday. We get there at 2:20 to pick up our order and they say it is going to be 30 minutes more. After 30 minutes we wait an additional 15. Then We ask how much longer as we called this in yesterday for pick up at 2:30 and we have been waiting for an hour now, she said another 30 minutes. we canceled our order and will not ever , ever go back. Since I didn't get any kind of reply to the email I sent to the company, here's some parts and reasons why I'm leaving such bad review. So upsetting. Please read: To whom this may concern: Hello my name is Cecilia and I just wanted to express my "sour" and dissatisfied experience with you and your team. First let me just say that I'm from the central Coast so while visiting San Diego for my 5 year old's birthday and after four years, Wings-N-Things was a must while staying near by. It was actually our last stop before heading home. So we get there Tuesday 5/5/15 around 2:30 or 3pm and walked straight to the front where someone was taking her order. While we waited we were staring at the menu because after four years we didn't remember exactly what we had we just know it was delicious and had to get it again. We got "greeted" by a female employee, who I believe was name Shawn or Shawna not so sure. (I'm going based on the receipt now since she wasn't wearing a name tag) anyways, she stared at us as if we were "something" else, seemed bother and her "hello" was so sarcastic it was unbelievable! No welcome or sign of her caring what so ever of our needs. It almost felt like we were wasting her precious time. I'm sure she noticed that we noticed her bad attitude because I was so shocked of how rude she was acting that I kept staring at her in shocked! Then, we waited. Which wasn't a big waiting which is probably one of the positive things we experienced. When we got our number called, my husband went to pick it up but came back to the table empty handed. Odd. When I asked what happened I was so disappointed to hear that when he grabbed the tray he saw a HAIR on our wings. I mean things like this happen at times in so many restaurants I understand but that doesn't not make it okay for it to be happening. I believe there's measure you take to prevent this from ever happening. Anyways, I was way to excited to try the wings, once again for the 2nd time that I was like, "ok, that's fine, we're getting new ones, you know as long as we don't get that same which I mean why would someone do that right?" Since my husband worked in a fast food restaurant before and his dad was in the fast food industry for so long he knows certain things and regulations about this type of business and I just had to ask you know, "they can't give you the same order and just take out the wing right? Like, that's wrong!? Right?" Which he then assured me that no they couldn't do that so I moved on and waited trying to keep hungry the kids busy while our hopefully new order was out. We Waited about the same time and as soon as we got our food we all started eating. I cannot complain about the taste, I mean everything was so good! But wait. "IS THAT A HAIR?" "Please tell me it's not" "Yup! That's a hair!" ANOTHER HAIR in our food, just when we were in the very middle of the meal! Man, I was so upset! So much bragging about going back to the spot and when would it be a good time to go and our top must stop, for all to end up in such sour and unsatisfied experience. At one point I told my husband we,"Maybe we shouldn't have gone and kept our 1st experience our last one." But hey, can't turn the clock back we can only try to fix it. After debating whether I should go and tell the employee that we had another hair on our "hopefully different order" of wings or whether we should just dump it and get out of there, I decided to let them know. I mean it was unacceptable! I paid $30 something dollars to enjoy my meal! Why should I dump it in the trash as if I had enjoyed every bit of it?! No. So as I walked up to the front counter ( which by the way I even felt embarrassed to tell her that my order of wings had another hair!) I was actually greeted by a different employee which I won't complain she was definitely much nicer and apologized (for the second time!) but I mean I don't blame her, it's just, we couldn't get passed it. We tried to move on the first time around but the second?! How can you explain that? She asked if I wanted another order but at this point we were ready to walk out the door, so I said no it's ok. She offered to talk to the manager about getting our money back which I was definitely open too. ( which I hope she did, I have to check back our account.) So, over all, terrible! I can't express enough on how upset and unsatisfied we left. We didn't even have words to describe that experience! I mean, how could you? Four years! And through out every time we would go out to a wing restaurant we talked about going back to Wings-N-Things and when we finally go back this happens! Unbelievable. Disappointed. read more

ive come here twice... drove an hour from OC both times just to eat their amazing buffalo chicken pizza sticks... both experiences sucked.. first time it took me 45minutes to get my food.. and now today their credit card machines are down.. i did myself a favor and went to the other location a few miles away... much nicer and friendlier read more
