Overall it was so crappy that I want to call the management and demand not only my ticket money back, but the five bucks we paid to park PLUS the gas money to drive way the hell out to Kennedale, TX. Who knows where that is, anyhow? First, like I said, it was a LONG drive out there. Google maps sucks, but that's another story. We drove out there, approached the haunted house and were a little surprised to see it was a bunch of warehouses. I mean, I've been to GOOD haunted houses that were warehouses... but based on the reviews, we expected a little more. So...We pulled in and were told it was five dollars to park. Okay. So we paid that, like the good little sheep that we are. Parked, waited in line for a good long while and bought our 25 dollar tickets (28 without the 3 dollar coupon you can print from their website). First we went to the Chaos haunted house. It was the best one at the Texas Scaregrounds by far. I, personally, am pretty wimpy, and easily startled, and it was okay. We enjoyed it well enough. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. We went to the Asylum next, and it was not as interesting or as startling. It was fairly dull. Then... we went on the haunted hayride. Okay, so the employees TOLD us that it was the most 'family friendly' attraction. But...really, what they meant that it was quite possibly the most pathetic thing I have ever experienced at a "haunted" attraction ever. We stood in line to RIDE the stupid hayride probably three times as long as we were actually ON it. I don't even know how to describe it other than incredibly boring, pathetic and a huge, huge waste of time. It was like a bad joke. Worse than a bad joke. Seriously. Painfully bad. Three people in masks following a trailer being pulled by a suburban does not really make a haunted hayride, sorry. After that pathetic experience, we figured we might as well try and squeeze out a little more for our wasted money and went to the "nightmares" haunted house. The only nightmare was the stupid line. It was really boring, and rather short. I can't even be bothered to write much about it. All I can REALLY say is we will NEVER waste our time going to Texas Scaregrounds again. I rather go to Screams and I am really not even impressed by Screams. Next year, hopefully we can find something to erase our sad memories of the WORST HAUNTED ATTRACTION EVER!

Nice and clean well- maintained lanes, which do present some challenges. Not sure if bowling was a "thing" for me, on my first visit I used a house ball and rented shoes. Due to my experiences at FBL, I've developed a deep passion for the sport of bowling. I now own two custom-made bowling balls and two pairs of bowling shoes. I've learned I have a lot to learn. My intentions are to develop my game at FBL. There is a great pro-shop on the premises. Don't let the size of the shop fool you. The crew, eager to help, is really nice and easy- going. In closing. I consider Forum Bowling Lanes, my "home lanes."

Their usual prices are also okay for a Saturday before 6pm -- $20 per lane per hour and $5 for shoe rentals. Check their Facebook for occasional deals. I recommend grabbing 3 of your buddies to split the cost. All in all, a solid bowling alley. It gets the job done for a fun night out.

Review for the Disc Golf Course…read more I love this place. I only started playing disc golf recently because it's a more fun, less frustrating, and free-to-play alternative to ball golf. There's a lot of things I can say about this course, but I want to start out with the unfortunate cons first. Trash. There's a lot of it right around hole 5, then again from hole 10 on out. One of these days I'm going to bring some giant heavy duty trash bags and one of those grabber claw things so I can tidy up some of the holes. I already love this sport, and I think taking care of the course should be normal for all players. Same as in ball golf, if you take care of the course, the course takes care of you, right? Turner is memorable and challenging, but I think it's a fair place to practice. You will be exposed to a lot of different types of shots and looks, and I find new challenges every time I play there. Turner definitely favors players with more power on some holes. Especially the last one. For me, since I'm still very much a beginner, I see the longer holes as just more opportunities to practice! There's usually two porto-potties right by the practice basket before the first tee box. I don't think there's any public facilities along the course, which this place could definitely use, especially with how long it is. Perhaps that's something that can be pitched to the city some day. Bring lots of water on hot days because it's a really good hike. The distance and terrain aren't too bad though. I walked the entire course with my 4-year-old about a month ago and he only needed to be carried on the very last two holes. Overall, highly recommend. This is my go-to practice course, because the water hazards at Fritz keep eating my discs.

I've heard rumors of it possibly being expanded on in the near future but don't know of any concrete details. Pros - Located next to Mountain Creek in Grand Prairie. The course itself has some small hills and decent walks. There is a great view of the lake, but water rarely comes into play (unless you've got some serious wind or just didn't throw the best shot). - The holes are wide open with very few obstacles, so it's a great place to really chunk some discs. - Usually there's not a whole bunch of traffic, especially in regards to other disc golfers. Occasionally there are parties in the pavilion on I believe it's the south side, but not on a regular basis. (Mostly if the weather is pleasant.) Cons - Only nine holes. Not a huge con because you can totally play the round again if you want to get 18 in. - I probably would not come to this park without my husband or some other friends. It's a little sketchy, if you catch my drift. Definitely not once the sun has set. :) - This is a big one and I almost forgot: no signage on the holes. The first time we came, fortunately a friend was familiar and showed us the way. However, I imagine there's a way to pull up the course map through DGCR or Udisc. Will definitely play again!

He's very knowledgeable about paintball and marker maintenance and took a look at 2 of them and essentially fixed them on the spot after just a quick look at no charge. The third one needs heavy restoration so I dropped it off with him. Unfortunately there is about a 4-6 week turn around time, but that's just because of the overwhelming amount of people that trust him to to fix their guns, I definitely feel like it's in the right hands. I couldn't help but pick up a ton of extra gear while there including some very discounted new compressed air tanks. Lots of awesome HK products in that shop that I will be coming back for.

They do have some shade areas, but the whole park is black asphalt and in the Texas sun, you roast. They had lots of fans at the attractions while You wait in line, but it is still very hot. I strongly suggest you hydrate ahead of time. Concessions kind of miss the mark here. Bottled sodas, no ice, no ice cream. (Such a natural place for that). They had one place selling snow cones, but that was it. Don't plan on eating anything substantial here. On my sneak preview day, the park was pretty empty. Never waited more than 3-4 minutes for an attraction. Once inside all but two attractions are included with admission. The two "pay to play" attractions are toy car crush, where you pick out a toy car and they run it over in front of you with a steam roller. My son loved it. The second is a panning for gold type of thing. We passed on it. Some attractions are better than others but in all, it was a great time. In all, with no lines we did every attraction and spent about two hours there and both of us were ready to leave. Your little one must be 48 inches or taller to do most of the rides alone. Smaller than that, you need an adult to join them. A nice attraction to grapevine and I think we will come back.... On a cooler day.
