Low quality products and service. Would not recommend unless you like long wait times and impatient service.

Was in the mood to visit this Asian grocery store…read more First off there is tons of free parking and public transit is just outside. Thé place itself was packed and needs a bit of tender loving care. Saying that the store produce was nothing more than top notch. You can find all your traditional Asian produce along with more non Asian produce. I went there for the duck and was lucky enough to pick some up. This was probably the best duck I have ever eaten. So moist and full of flavors. I should of gotten two. I also wanted to try some bbq pork but they were sold out. There was so much to choses from and all looked amazing and super fresh Went there for the duck and pork.

Kim Phat is still the best asian grocery store in MTL by far…read more. It's a lil run down and needs a lift but otherwise they have everything you're looking for! They even had peking duck!! Damn those ducks are insanely difficult to find these days !!! What is happening?? Why arent there ducks?? who ate them all?? Lolol Nonetheless... they had a guy cutting up the last few ducks he had left for the day and he was super friendly he even picked out the best one for us. The place is cool they have lots of asian varieties of pastries, raw meats, fish and all kinds of live fish you can choose to cook fresh from the sea lol The fruits and veggie section is quite extensive as well lots of unique items at this place ! The pantry aisles are filled with products you will never find at a regular grocery chain store Overall, I think this place is by far the best in the city and there's no insane chaotic line ups Pricing: super affordable and good sales ! Definitely recommend

I have no idea what the rule is about bringing packaged foods back to the U.S., but I wanted to buy so much stuff I used to keep in my Italian pantry! Next visit to Montreal we plan to stay in the Little Italy area and shop here on day one. Even if we have to eat it all before we leave town. We literally stumbled upon this grocery store. Established in 1954, two brothers introduced Montreal to Italian products. Today their children have taken over and it seems to be a very popular neighborhood market based on the number of customers shopping during our visit. Bakery, deli, meat counter, dairy, produce. All the sections you expect in a traditional grocery store. The breakfast sweets. The Chocolate. Whole rabbit in the meat counter. So much pasta! Oil, balsamic, sauce. I just need to go back. If you cook Italian, you should be shopping here. Actually, if you eat, you should shop here.

The variety of brand names of imported Italian tomatoes, pasta and cheeses is staggering. Needless to say Milano's will always be on my list of stops when I'm in Montréal.

Great Korean grocery store on Sherbrooke W in NDG which caught my eye as I was heading to check out…read moreAkhavan (Persian grocery store). Also specializing in some Japanese products as well. This is the second Korean grocery store I've found in Montreal. The other being on St Catherine W downtown. This one was larger and selection of good was more diverse. A great selection of many if not most items Korean/Japanese and other Asian. They do have a healthy selection of prepared foods. Also on Monday- Saturday there is take out items from a restaurant. I was here on a Sunday so I could do is salivate while looking at the menu and wonder how amazing their dishes must be. Some prepared bulgogi rice was made but I want to come for some of the more exotic Korean items. In the cooler at entrance there is a well stocked selection of prepared Korean food. Spicy chicken, kimchi, tempura fish, chap chae only to name a few. I got some chap chae and it was delicious. Not too sesame oil overpowering but delicious none the less! As you walk to the back there is another cooler fridge of banchan and other curious delights. Good stuff peeps especially if K-Food is one of your weaknesses. Lots of dry goods, also a very strong section of frozen dumplings. I picked up a bag made in NA yet non recognizable with all the Korean writing (which I have no idea) for me. They were delicious by the way. Downstairs is a butcher counter with some short rib, samgypesol-Gui and other deliciously tasty yet somewhat unhealthy Korean meats. I need to come back on a Saturday for some takeaway. I'd declare this the biggest and best K-Grocery store I've come across in MTL. I can spend so much time wandering around. It's my museum browsing. Great that this museum I can taste the delights and not just walk with my hands behind my back like an old man! Lol!
