Absolutely amazing! They may only have two items on the menu, but the owner is confident that their customers will keep coming back. I tried the jengyalov bread. It is a very thin bread baked to order- filled with herbs, fresh, hot, and huge portion too! Sometimes, keeping it simple and doing it exceptionally well is all you need. Highly recommend!

    Jengyalov Bread Pakhlava

The most delicious Jhengyalov bread I've ever tasted. And the baklava just melts in your mouth. Service at the highest level, very kind and customer-oriented staff. The atmosphere is very good, clean and cozy. I advise everyone to try it

From the minute you step in you treated with enthusiasm and warmth. I was surprised by the size of the bread I purchased, hot out of the oven it was delicious I brought it home to share and my roommate was blown away cute atmosphere family owned and delicious! Definitely worth a visit!

The Food was so fresh and delicious Jengyalov Bread , and the dessert was spot on not to sweet and a lot of walnuts. Very clean nice place will definitely go back.

Oh my goodness! I was waiting and waiting for their remodeling to finish so that I could try their bread. I'd seen the sign that said "vegan" and since I am thirty-six years vegan I knew I had to stop in. I finally did today and I'm so glad I did! First of all, the remodeling is great, the place has a nice, clean yet welcoming vibe. And the beautiful young Armenian couple at the counter, Alex and Anna, were so welcoming and so convivial. They answered all of my question and even let me try a sample of the vegan jengyalov. And let me tell you, it was delicious: lavosh bread stuffed with a variety of greens and herbs. I purchased one, of course, ($11.90+tax) and while it was baking (it's fresh, natch!) I had a great chat with Alex and Anna (nudging them as is my way, to consider moving along the vegan continuum!) Upon my return home, I cut off a good size piece of the bread and happily devoured it! Whether or not you are vegan (and if not, why not ? ) I highly recommend Diana's Jengyalov Bread -- for the bread and the wonderful Armenian hospitality!

The best paklhava and jengyalov bread! Such a great experience and can't wait to keep coming back.

The forest roll is one of the most nutritionally dense meals I've ever had. feel Energized!

Excellent new small dine-in with giant nutritional value. Great feel to tge space. Bright. Clean. Smells great. Fresh greens from the oven with a bread casing cooked to perfection with hospitality and kindness. Baked fresh to order.

    Yummy

Just visited this newly opened place and was happy I did. Their freshly made Jengyalov bread is fabulous - pretty thin dough and flavorful fresh herbs stuffing. The place is clean and cozy. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. For now they have only two items on the menu: bread and baklava, but the menu will be extended soon. Highly recommend this place for delicious food and to support local family owned business. Looking forward to trying their new items.

Jengyalov Bread (I cut it up into sections)

The best tasting jengyalov bread I've had. The flavors are so well balanced and the perfect amount of seasoning. I loved how the bread was very thin and the stuffed greens were the perfect ratio. Completely vegan too! I can eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The owners are also very nice and friendly! I will definitely be back for more. Convenient location too. Very well kept and clean spot.

Absolutely delicious! Zhingyalov Hats (Bread) is a must-try. They've been making it for years, but their new storefront just recently opened. I've already been back several times because everything is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We always grab some for our family and whenever we're visiting friends. Highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Armenian (Artsakh) food. You won't be disappointed!

I love love Diana's Jengyalov Bread. I've had it a couple of times and it is always fresh and tasty. I wish I lived closer so I can have it more often! Great vibe and hospitality from the front desk team. 10/10!

My husband fell in love with them in Portugal and he's been craving them ever since we got home. I'm happy to say that the pastéis de nada at Natas Pastries are just as delicious as the ones we had in Portugal. Their other breakfast food was delicious as well. I had the All American Breakfast, and the potatoes were incredible! My husband had the Breakfast Burrito with linguiça, and he loved it! We sat outside on the patio, which is a lovely place to enjoy a meal, and all of the staff was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu, as well as more pastéis de nada!

It's usually hard to find a bakery that is still open after 6 pm. I decided to try a variety of pastries and ordered an apple strudel, chocolate covered peanut butter bar and a large chocolate chip cookie. They had a very wide selection to choose from. My daughter ordered a lemon bar, slice of lemon cake and a small chocolate chip cookie. My first impression of the desserts that I chose was that they were sweet. I could feel the graininess of the sugar in the chocolate covered peanut butter bar. The strudel was tasty but light on the apple filling. Between the chocolate chips and sugar the cookie was sweeter than what I usually like but still a good cookie. I tried my daughter's lemon bar and I liked it. The things I tried I'm thinking 3 stars, my daughter liked the things she bought so averaging it out maybe a solid 3.5 stars rounded up to a generous 4 stars. Service was okay. Natas has a wide variety of pastries. I think the other items on the menu are more well received. I'll need to go back next time I am in town to try out some of other menu items.

Guess what, the whole community will read it. Old man read the review again: I will not be back to subpar service and subpar taste. Good luck! No longer what it used to be both in service and taste. Been coming here for over 20 years now, but it looks like the management has changed recently. The knafa is flaky and has no taste. The zaatar croissant were soggy and stale - the zaatar itself tasted different and "light" come on it is Zaatar! But the most important thing to me is the service!! Just wow.. The older gentleman with no hair - has an attitude. We came in, ordered, sat outside .. He got upset because I left the door open, and then he got really upset because I grabbed a napkin. His words were: we gave you enough. I said well charge me for it, he replied: we don't like people grabbing napkins on their own!!! What on earth is this? Last time here. I feel bad for the younger employee. But other places in town have better knafa and best of all better service!

Every single item in the display cases looks AMAZING! I had no intention of walking out with more than a cookie and a bottle of water. I couldn't help myself and walked out with four different types of croissants, two baguettes, and eight other types of bread and pastries. I can honestly say that the cheese and jalapeno croissant I had was one of the best I had ever eaten. I had another pastry while I was there with the same results. I definitely became a fan of this fully stocked, well-organized, and amazing bakery

The Woodman has the BEST cold brew, and their matcha is so flavorful and fresh. What really stands out is the quality of their ingredients. But the price for the size just isn't worth it. It came out to $10 per drink after tax, making it one of the most expensive coffees on Ventura Boulevard. Worth noting, their matcha powder is actually sourced from Kettl. We've been to the actual Kettl cafe in East Hollywood and their matcha lattes were cheaper than what Lynx is charging here, even using the same matcha. That says a lot about the markup. You can drive down to Rok Cafe, Yala Cafe, or plenty of other cafes on the same block and get a comparable, if not better, coffee for a significantly better price. On top of that, the cup was about 90% ice, so the drink gets watered down fast, even before you're done with it. Overall just not happy with the value here. 2/5. Loyal Customer, but This Experience May Have Lost My Business…read more I've been a loyal customer of 85°C Bakery Cafe in Sherman Oaks for quite some time and buy virtually all of my baked goods here, so it's disappointing to write this review. Yesterday August 6th was my dad's 99th birthday, and I wanted to make it special. At around 10 a.m., I ordered his birthday cake through the app for a 4 p.m. pickup and used the customization option to request "Happy Birthday" writing on the cake. I arrived around 4:30 p.m. and initially there was no one at the counter. I could see an employee off to the side drinking a coffee. He saw me waiting but didn't acknowledge me and instead went to the back and sent out another employee. From the moment she came out, the interaction was surprisingly unpleasant. I explained that I was picking up the birthday cake I had ordered that morning and gave her my name. She retrieved the box and then abruptly asked, "Where's your confirmation?" I explained that I wasn't sure what she needed because I only had the email I received. I showed it to her, and after looking at it for quite a while, she said "fine" and pushed the cake box toward me. I asked whether the Happy Birthday message I requested was on the cake. She said no and that the person who does the writing wasn't there. I explained that I had placed the order that morning specifically for my dad's 99th birthday and really wanted the birthday message included. I showed my request on the order email. Instead of trying to resolve it, she began helping other customers while I was left standing there. After waiting and explaining that I was already late for my dad's birthday, she eventually went to the back, returned with a small chocolate "Happy Birthday" piece, and placed it on top of the box. That solution was perfectly fine with me--I just wish it had been handled graciously from the beginning. I then asked for a cake cutter and candles, which employees here have routinely offered with cake purchases in the past. Again, I was ignored while other customers were helped. When I repeated that I was late and needed to leave, she rolled her eyes and told me to wait until she was finished with another customer. Eventually she brought them over and simply piled everything on top of the cake box rather than putting the items in a bag. Everyone can have a bad day, and I try to be understanding of that. But the dismissive attitude, eye rolling, repeatedly ignoring me in the middle of our interaction, and general lack of courtesy were unacceptable. What should have been a simple and happy pickup for my dad's 99th birthday became unnecessarily stressful and put a real damper on my afternoon. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I wasn't an occasional customer--I've been very loyal to this bakery. I love the baked goods and have consistently chosen 85°C over other bakeries. But customer service matters too, and after this experience I'm seriously considering finding another bakery for our family's cakes and baked goods.
