Serious Safety & Liability Concerns - This Gym Puts Members at Risk…read more This gym is playing fast and loose with member safety, and it needs to be called out. The sauna has a clearly posted warning sign stating a maximum safe temperature of 185°F. Despite this, staff and management insist on running it at 200°F, knowingly exceeding their own posted safety limits. That alone is reckless and a massive liability issue. What made this worse: I entered the sauna first at a safe temperature. Another gym member then came in and turned the temperature up to 197°F, completely ignoring the warning sign. When I pointed out the posted safety limit, this individual became aggressive, threatened me, harassed me, and disturbed my peace while I was simply trying to protect my health. No member should feel unsafe--physically or verbally--while using a wellness facility. Management's response? Dismissive and unconcerned. Instead of addressing: * the unsafe temperature settings * the violation of posted safety guidelines * the harassment and threatening behavior by another member ...the manager failed to take the situation seriously at all. This gym is exposing itself to serious liability by: * Ignoring its own safety warnings * Allowing saunas to operate at dangerous temperatures * Failing to intervene when a member is threatened Saunas are supposed to support health--not endanger it. Until management starts prioritizing member safety, accountability, and basic respect, I strongly do not recommend this gym. Consider this a warning.

If you aren't an employee of Delta, there are a couple other small gyms nearby that you don't need to be an employee to visit. This is a pretty good gym for how small it is. There really is something here for everyone, from machine users to powerlifters to yogis to TRXers to CrossFitters. There are quite a few machines, both cardio (ellipticals, treadmills, rowers, and bikes) and weight (cable machines, as well as the run-of-the-mill muscle isolation machines). Additionally, there is a large free weight area, including dumbbells, barbells, squat racks, and a lifting platform. There are also plyo boxes, all sorts of balls, and stretching/rolling aids. They have a pretty good class schedule and variety of offerings, especially on weekdays, and the entire gym is open every day except holidays. The locker/shower rooms are really nice and big. For a small fee, they also offer massages. Fees are reasonable (you can get a day pass for $5 if you are here for a short time), and totally worth it to get a major upgrade over the local hotel "gyms."

They offer body scultping, pilates, yoga, spin, zumba and more. What I love the most about this gym is that the people who come to this gym are REAL people. They don't come to the gym with a full set of makeup or to show off their fake boobs in a sports bra. They don't look like they have spent an hour getting ready to work out. It's such a breath of fresh air to be working out among real people. This gym provides towels, shirts, shorts, and even socks. The locker rooms are always equipped with plenty of bath towels, lotion, razors, shampoo/conditioner, hair styling products and more. It is clean and well kept. The people who work here are great too. There are also plenty of mirrors throughout the weight area, which I always appreciate when I'm working out. The facility itself was well maintained and the locker room area was clean. I've consistently participated in the CrossFit classes which are both fun and challenging. Lastly and most importantly is the incredible sense of community. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by friendly faces and people who genuinely care about each other's progress. The members here are supportive and motivating, and it feels more like a group of friends than a typical gym. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete, everyone encourages each other, and the trainers make it a point to help you reach your goals without any judgment. This is subjective, and I hate to write it. I came in from classpass and had a decent class. I've…read morebeen trying to get myself to work out some more so I decided to try a 1 week unlimited to see if it was something I could see myself doing. First, vibes are kind of weird. This is the first studio i've been to where the front desk doesn't greet anyone and the instructors don't try to make conversation before or after class. The studio is a nice size, the machines are nice, there are only mirrors on two sides of the room (the front and one side) which makes it hard for around half of the room to see themselves, and the bathroom is below average for a boutique studio (they do have 2 showers). I went 7 days in a row and never really felt sore besides a really small feeling of soreness across my whole body kind of how you feel after you workout for the first time in a while. I will say this is partially my fault, because I couldn't do the excersizes for a super long period of time To elaborate, the sequencing of the majority of class/classes made no sense to me whatsoever, it seemed like there were too many variations so things would be too heavy and difficult or painful so you couldn't stay in for it long enough for it to actually build tension. They do give hands on corrections which is nice. On top of this the instructors have an odd superiority complex about lagree that i've never experienced anywhere else. I even went further and had my boyfriend come with me one morning, and he had a similar experience. I never felt better walking out than I did walking in. I will say it's not necessarily a bad place to workout, but out of all of the places I have worked out this one didn't fulfill me. I also want to say that the instructors aren't bad, it's just the sequencing that feels ineffective to me. I really enjoyed Marilu.

One of my favorite things about FLC is that you don't have to deal with muscle heads and bimbos only there to flaunt themselves to each other. Every member is there for a reason: to get fit. I like being able to go in, get in a good workout and head home knowing I made myself a little bit stronger. I love taking advantage of some of the group fitness classes. Water aerobics is great, especially in the summer, but my favorite is Zumba. You don't need to be the best dancer in the world, but keep moving and sweating, and you'll get the steps. I also vary my routine by doing some strength training. The weight room is never at full capacity so it's easy to take your time and not rush through your routine. The pool can be overrun with munchkins in the summer, so be prepared if you find out the pool is closed due to a kid's "accident". Also keep in mind there are various water aerobics classes scheduled each week. During these times, the pool is only open to water aerobics attendees and lap lane swimmers. Happy exercising!
