I had to schedule a month out for an initial look over and to share what was bothering me. I was hoping since my appointment was scheduled so far in advance that I would get a complete body check but that wasn't the case. Everything seemed really rushed, different things I pointed out were "shushed" and of no importance to the practitioner I saw, and I didn't feel like they truly cared about some of the issues I was concerned about. My mom had melanoma and a year later was diagnosed with stage lV ovarian cancer. Due to my family history I thought I would have gotten a bit more attention, which wasn't the case. After the quick checkup I had to schedule to come back for another appointment which would be a full body scan. This again was about a month out. I ended up going to a dermatologist that my friend recommended at Allina Health Clinics which I was able to get in the same week I called (called Monday and got in with her specialist on Wednesday!). On top of this, those areas that were of concern to me and otherwise looked over/avoided at Center for Dermatology, the specialist immediately removed and treated at Allina. I found out I had Actinic Keratosis on my nose, which was immediately treated with liquid nitrogen. And the other area of concern was a small lump on my arm which was a Neoplasm. This was immediately removed at well with sutures added to help it heal, and sent to the lab for testing. The exact concerns I brought to Center for Dermatology were not addressed and instead immediately addressed and treated at Allina. Truly unfortunate because if my labs would have come back positive at Center for Dermatology I would be playing a waiting game in order to get seen and start a treatment plan. Happy I made the switch to Allina Health and certainly do not recommend coming to this Center for anything dermatology related.

With her care my son's skin is looking SO GOOD! He started with one regimen of oral and topic Rx's. When that reached its max result, and he then started Isotretinoin (Accutane), the results have been great. He's in has last month of meds, and after completing and having 2 months off meds he'll go in for laser skin treatments. Looking forward to the end results he so deserves :)

I have been with her about 10 years and not once was she on time for an appointment. It was at least a half-an-hour wait. I finally made my appointment as the first one of the day, thinking I would solve the problem. She was still a half-an-hour late. The last appointment was my last appointment when I waited so long I had to leave for another appointment before being seen. I can understand being late on occasions but this is habitual which tells me she has no respect for her patients and their time.
