The…read moreattitude you recieve is unacceptable, should have been the first red flag NOT to order there. They dont assist you or try to explain ANY of the process. They throw attitude at you when you ask a question trying to understand. Then they charge you a Hefty amount for a countertop, annd the product not being what you expected. Once the product is ordered your told "no returns" and damage your property. They tell you the product will be ready in 2 weeks, meanwhile it takes almost 2 months. They don't offer a delivery option until AFTER they damage your vehicle with NO accountability or even DISCUSS the situation. They definitely take advantage of the people not educated in this line of work. It is NOT worth the hassle. Espec when the owner himself yells and gives a horrible attitude when you try to call and discuss the situations.

We hired Molyneaux to install manufactured hardwood on our first and second floor. They were…read moresupposed to have it installed while we were on our honeymoon. Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.

What one is to believe when you're ready to hire someone to help you with projects around the house…read moreisn't always what they intended to do after another horrible experience I encountered with Frank. He quoted me a price of $500.00 to laminate a second floor bathroom and then what I believed was the finishing of the 1st floor bathroom. On the day this gentleman came out to talk to me about the job he made a clear and presise quote of $500.00 and then as after I accepted the quote then commented about wanting to remove the toilet and lay the laminate flooring under it. I said that it wasn't necessary. I said that because one,I was under the impression that he was giving me a good price and I didn't want him to think that I'm going to take advantage of him. And two, laminate flooring can be laid without removing the toilet. Well, this morning when I came down to the second floor the first thing Frank mentioned was that he wasn't happy because he was going to have to do a half assed job with my not removing the toilet. I told him that he would be able to do it the way he wanted to. I then asked my friend who has a office on the second floor if the noise is going to disturb him. He said no. And then Frank commented "Do you want me to do this job or not?" I wondered why he promoted an attitude towards me with the comment however I just stated that I wanted him to do the job and I went to the 1st floor Frank clearly didn't seem to be having a good morning and I pretty much stayed out of his way intentionally until what I thought was the finishing of the 2nd floor bathroom floor. At that time I had just come to the 2nd floor and said hello. Frank asked me how I was doing? I looked at the gap between my bathtub and where the laminate flooring ended and there was a larger than necessary gap between the two items. He said that would be taken care of. Frank went to the 1st floor and stated that what was already done on the 1st floor bathroom floor was going to need be removed and redone. I said that was fine. He said he doubted that he would be done today and I said that was ok. I mean what else do you say. Then I went upstairs to inspect the work that he had done. And I found gobs of caulking around the toilet. And around a couple of places it appeared that he was piping icing on a cake and I have pics of this. He also said he would have moved the toilet but I said not to. I then put on the brakes and I reminded Frank about what a half assed job he said he was going to be doing when I first spoke with him this morning. He then immediately started ranting about it would have cost me more money than he originally quoted. However he quoted me after he knew what he was getting into He then decided that he was not going to correct the lousy craftsmanship around the toilet and then he said he wasn't doing the first floor. And as this is going on he's badgering me and saying I'm this and I'm that when I clearly don't deserve to hear anyone talk like that to anyone. However when my friend presented himself Frank quieted down. I hired this guy because I have lost the ability of my right hand after being attacked a few weeks ago and I wanted to get this done. And now I'm no further than I was except out of $250.00. Think twice before you arrive at deciding to hire this person. I was a boat builder and I have never been treated with such disrespect and then accused of being one of the worst customers that he's ever dealt with. I thought this man was a Christian. That's what he said and where I come from we Christians don't swear like sailors or do we accuse others of mistruth

He was very personable and arrived on time every day for our four day project. He did a great job on removing our ceramic tile and subfloor and installing the new subfloor then the vinyl tile and new stained baseboards which he let me stain as I wanted and then he installed. GREAT JOB, I would recommend him to anybody. Note: both the materials and the installation was a great value and quality.
