After surgery and trying another PT place (that unfortunately didn't do anything for me) my doctor finally referred me to Praxis. I would not go or recommend anyone to go anywhere else! They are the reason I was able to fully heal and walk with a 'normal' gait again and without crutches!! I will forever be grateful that I ended up in their care. I spent a lot of time working with James, Ryan H. and Cindy (and also worked with Beth and Austin). They were ALL amazing!!! My doctor also praised Mike, but at the time I couldn't get on his schedule. I have now referred my husband here and he is schedule with Ryan C. I have no doubt he will also be in wonderful hands. Thank you Praxis for your knowledge and commitment to your practice. It makes the world of difference to your patients.

I was sent to Mike Kordecki to see if he could save me from a second surgery. Everyone here is very welcoming and caring. I went for physical therapy following a total hip replacement of my right hip and worked with Felisha, who was FANTASTIC. The first thing she asked was, "What are your goals, and what do you want to be able to do when you're done with physical therapy?" Great question, since some people simply want to be able to navigate their day without pain, and others like me want to be able to live active lifestyles and do more. She worked with me, encouraged and supported me, and got me exactly where I wanted to be. She's excellent at what she does, and even when I had slight doubts about where I'd end up, I had great faith in HER. I like how detailed she is, explaining how the body works, and what the end result will be by working on strength, endurance and range of motion. I also had a chance to work with Harnisha and Gaelen, who were wonderful. And Michelle at the front desk is a real sweetheart and the perfect person to be the first encounter in the facility. My orthopedic doctor is with ILBJ in Arlington Heights, and I didn't want to drive that distance twice a week, so finding they had physical therapy in Libertyville was a godsend. I just finished p.t. a couple days ago and couldn't be happier with the results. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I get there, the front desk staff lady ( I wish I could remember her name). I believe she was of asian descent. Anywho, RUDE and acted as if I didn't matter. She got the nurse I spoke with and they proceeded to talk about the front desk staffs nails as if I wasn't standing there. I have NEVER received such terrible service from a doctors office. The nurse even told me that we had not had the conversation and told me I was lying. REALLY??? Would I take off work early, make up a doctors appointment all for the hell of it? NOT!!! Very sad! I have never been treated as they treated me in that office that day. I will not ever go to that location again...

I graduated from PT today!!…read more I can't say enough about how much I loved PT, which is odd because who loves going therapy? However, when you meet the staff here, it's easy to understand. I started coming here about ten weeks ago after I sustained a fall on ice that ultimately led to bilateral chondromalacia (aka softening behind the kneecap). When I first started PT, I was wearing a brace, my right knee was giving out, and it hurt to do basic activities like getting up from a chair and squatting. As a nurse, it was becoming difficult to fully function at work and I was feeling pretty disheartened. Bjorn and Nikita were my primary team throughout my course of therapy, but I also had Jace and Abby who were equally as wonderful. The team gave me strengthening exercises and slowly but surely increased the intensity of difficulty of my workouts each week. Some days were hard. Some days, I doubted if I would ever be able to keep up with regular exercises again. But after pushing through it and trying really hard, I was able to get back to my previous level of activity under their watchful guidance. I've been to other physical therapists whose main mode of treatment was medicine, electrical stimulation, and deep tissue work, but none of them ever taught me how to strengthen myself and how to exercise properly. From what I've learned at this Athletico, I can trust that my progress will last provided I keep up with my exercises. The biggest reason I loved coming to this Athletico for PT is that it's a positive environment. The staff are fun, love to laugh, and prioritize your well-being. If you are seeking PT in a location you can trust, don't think about it, just give them a call. You won't find a kinder bunch of people anywhere else and I cannot thank them enough for all they've done to help me.

Where do I even begin?…read more I was referred for physical therapy after major surgery on my ankle and foot. I intended to return to the site where I previously completed physical therapy in 2014. The therapist I saw no longer works at that location, and so I decided to find a clinic closer to work and home. And that's how I scooted in the front door of this location in May. Seriously. On a knee scooter. With a bell. And a basket. That had a brewery bumper sticker on it. I am classy. I spent almost six months completing physical therapy at this site, regaining strength and flexion in my foot and ankle as well as strength in my hip. What could have been a miserable experience was anything but. The staff at this location are incredible. They demonstrated amazing patience, kindness, and humor with all of their patients. I looked forward to my appointments, not only because I was making measurable progress but also because I enjoyed spending the time with Bjorn, Katie, and Jace. Conversation flowed easily, particularly because of the open floor plan, and it was easy to get to know other patients and staff. My questions were always answered in a way that I could understand. The exercises provided both on-site and to do at home were specific to my injuries and addressed the concerns my doctor and I had about my recovery. I always felt heard and like a partner in the process rather than simply a patient. When I was frustrated, they were reassuring. When I needed some levity, they turned all of my exercises into carnival games. When I needed patience, they gave it unconditionally. I 'graduated' from physical therapy tonight, and I have to admit, it was bittersweet. I'm grateful for the progress I've made and the help I received, but I'll miss the staff at this location.

She and her husband (who run the practice together) are both super professional, very knowledgeable, approachable and warm. I arrived at 8:41 a.m. and had all required forms completed by 8:58 a.m. After waiting in the exam room until 9:12 a.m., I was informed that the doctor was not even onsite yet and would arrive in another 10-15 minutes. At that point, I explained that I had work obligations and had specifically scheduled an early appointment to accommodate my schedule. The response I received was simply, "I'm sorry." What I find most concerning is the complete disregard for a patient's time. Patients are expected to arrive early, remain punctual, and structure their workdays around these appointments, yet the same professional courtesy was evidently not extended by the provider. Running a few minutes behind is understandable; not being present at the office for scheduled appointments is something entirely different. First impressions matter, particularly in healthcare. Unfortunately, my experience suggested a lack of professionalism and respect for patients' time, which does not inspire confidence in the practice overall.

Thank you so very much, Robin, for putting together this much needed "Core Life Cancer Wellness…read moreProgram" for cancer patients, and for all the individualized care you have provided, to help me with breathing and strength. Thank you to Dr Rebmann for making this program a part of Affinity Integrated Healthcare, and for recommending it to me. I highly recommend it for all cancer survivors and thrivers The 8 week program involved assessment, physical therapy, massage and wellness coaching. A big thank you to PT ~ Christine, Wellness Coach ~ Karla and Massage Therapists ~ Liz and Ewa. I was up-sold and told to try another 3 sessions for an additional $136 (wouldn't honor Groupon price) as 6 would provide better results than 3. After I finished the 6, still ZERO results. I was told that the cavitation plus whole-body vibration (simply a machine like those from the 50s that jiggles you while you're standing up for 10 minutes) is not as effective unless I add radio frequency lifting and high-intensity light to tighten and reduce cellulite. I reluctantly and stupidly threw another $900.00 into the pot so I could realize these NON-GUARANTEED results. After 12 sessions, I still had ZERO results. Not an inch or pound lost. Needless to say, very frustrated with the outcome, the wasted $1135 and the fact that Doctor Rebmann (or anyone else from their business) hasn't called to discuss or offer any resolve or refund.  What kind of business integrity if you don't stand by your products and claims? Kanella was as pleasant and professional as could be and was representing Affinity's product/device. She was just doing her job. 9/26 update: Dr Rebmann did call me this evening offering an opportunity to meet with me personally. Very appreciative of his call and desire to resolve.
