3.5 to 4. Been to a lot of PT. Team Rehab AH is classic athletic trainer style PT if thats what…read moreyou're looking for. Adam is hands down the best. Highly recommend him. The others seem competent. One I would not refer to. It's the environment to consider. It's got a ton of equipment, which is good, but it's also very loud w all the PTs constantly having convos w each other across the room. That is both distracting and means to me that the PTs themselves seem distracted from your care. Front desk is meh on friendliness.. Here they stack multiple clients per appointment so even though you are not shoved off onto an assistant, it's not truly one on one if that's what you're looking for. You get left a lot on your own. Which is pretty typical for this type of trainer business model so not a pro or con tbh just something to be aware of. The environment is a bit sports pub trivia night/frat house. Lots of cross talking between therapists during your session. Lexi is the leader of many "let me guess" "my favorite movie/song is" loud convos w her coworkers and is hugely distracting as a client. If Adam the owner isn't there, it's 10x louder and more chaotic. They even had an impromptu wear a kerchief like your noona runway contest once. Huh??!! Overall what thar feels like from a healing perspective is that they are not always fully focused on you, and this work imo requires the PT to be watching and evaluating you and adjusting accordingly, not focused on having sports trivia and other convos w their coworkers. Saw one (only one) safety issue that crystallized it for me how environment can affect care. So it depends on what you're looking for in a PT place. Adam is extraordinary, I stayed because he is knowledgeable, intuitive and creative w his approach to your injury and he progressed me really well. He is a not just do 10 clamshells cuz thats what they taught us in school and call it a day kind of PT (and there are plenty of those elsewhere believe me) I personally though like a PT place with more hands on attention and a less frenetic environment. But am glad I found Adam despite the environment.

When I first started, I could barely tolerate my lower back pain and struggled just to function day to day. Through consistent therapy and continued treatment, I've gone from that point to now being completely pain-free. The impact on my quality of life has been nothing short of incredible. Not only did the treatment relieve my pain, but the ongoing care--whether consistent or intermittent over the years--has helped me maintain progress, improve mobility, and function better in every aspect of life. On top of that, the entire staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They always communicate clearly, accommodate any needs or adjustments, and truly make you feel like part of a family from the moment you walk in. After numerous visits to different doctors, many diagnostic tests, steroid injections and 3 attempts at physical therapy with different offices, I was given the final alternative of spinal surgery. At some point I heard Peter Domagala as an expert on the radio, and as the last resort I came to PD Rehab. It changed my life! Unlike anywhere else, here the focus was on identifying stress points which caused pain, and eliminating them with amazing pressure techniques. I felt less pain with every session. Thank you Peter! After just 3 weeks of therapy I can sleep through the night, my shooting pains are gone and I am not facing surgery any more! Thank you all at PD Rehab for your professionalism and kindness! It's felt like my "home away from home!" My main physical therapist was Mike Z, while I've also seen Vibol on occasion. When I first started going to PT, I was in a tremendous amount of pain and couldn't walk or move my knee at all. I was terrified I'd never walk normally again or be rid of the excruciating pain. Mike was patient and moved me through exercises that specifically targeted the muscles that had "gone to sleep" and also increased my range of motion by tiny degrees at a time. The last thing my body needed was to be forced into submission. I always felt that both Mike and Vibol had my best interests at heart and did everything they could to help me with my pain and getting back to normal activity. They were creative with their methods and very encouraging when I hit a plateau, yet pushed me to keep "fighting" for the next achievement- even if it just meant gaining two degrees of flexion in my knee. I've recently "graduated" from PT and can ride my bike, swim and walk normally again. I owe so much to Mike and Vibol and can't thank them enough for all of their support and for pushing me to keep healing. If I ever have the need for PT again, I will definitely be going back to them at this Athletico.

However, I will focus on direct communication between the family and the rehab center. It is hard to get a hold of anyone at times. There was times that I called and the phone rang for 10 minutes straight. Or I asked to speak to the patients nurse... and waited for 10 minutes and transferred then waited and transferred again... to be told by the receptionist to call back. The nurses and CNAS for the most part are kind and caring. I'm very appreciative of them. It's the service and management of the rehab center that's not satisfying I understand and empathize with the busy nurses, however rehab centers are a for profit business. This one in particular is. Customer service in this kind of business, revolves around effective communication with the patients family. Both in the rehab center and on the phone. People work and it's important that they feel informed of their family members well being and progress at all times. I did not feel that way at all. Even at Sunday discharge, the prescriptions weren't given with valid quantities....Which we didn't discover until at home...with less then a days worth of medication left. Something that would have been great if anyone had noticed before discharge... or if we were given the prescriptions to fill ahead of time. Something has got to change with regard to keeping patients families involved and informed.
