Emailed to try to get someone to understand that tantrums are unpredictable and again, they didn't care. Kept throwing their 24 hour reschedule policy at me. Next time, I'll ask my three year old 24 hours before If she plans to have a tantrum. Definitely not a place for kids younger than 5. Don't waste your money.

We returned last summer and an unexpected and sudden medical event threw our summer for a loop. They were beyond kind and accommodating. Michael, the owner, personally made sure we were taken care of at a very scary time and was just incredibly kind and communicative. I can't thank him and his staff enough for the support. I would recommend this camp for any family. Its like a classic, old-school summer day camp experience!

My son attended Adventurewood camp for the first time this week. For the most part he enjoyed…read morehimself -- particularly the characters they introduce throughout the week. However, we decided to pull him out for next week because of a very disturbing situation. He shared that a counselor had pushed him with both hands on his shoulders during a capture the flag activity. He had dropped his flag and was putting it back on when a counselor (he didn't know her name) pushed him back hard enough to make him lose his balance and fall. She also barked "you need to reset!" She didn't ask if he was ok or help him up. You'd think if this was an accidental push and he fell over she would say something like "sorry bud are you ok? Here let me help you up" but nope, not a word. A friend he's attending camp with witnessed the whole incident. Since I pick them both up in the afternoons they both recounted this situation to me and both of them noted how inappropriate her behavior was. I immediately reached out to Michael, the owner of the camp. He said he wanted to identify this counselor and get her side of the story. Understandable. My son felt uncomfortable going back the next day but I reassured him it would be handled and offered to drop him off in the morning and stick around to talk to Michael and the counselor. I wanted him to feel safe. Michael identified her (her name is Carson) and said he wanted to talk to her first, which he did a few feet away from me. I heard her say she didn't push him. They then walked over to me and she again denied everything. So we asked both kids to come over and recount what happened. They both did -- in front of her -- and reiterated she pushed him. She denied even touching him. So Michael suggests at this point that perhaps it was an accident and my son responds by saying "how do you push someone like that by accident?!" No response. So I ask her, are you saying these kids are lying? She again said she didn't touch him and at this point we send the kids away. I'm incensed because not only does she gaslight both of them to their face but tells this bold faced lie to her boss in front of the campers and me. I tell her I believe them and I think she's the one lying. At this point she gives me this dirty look - angry, irritated and almost rolls her eyes at me. I turn to Michael and say "and now she's giving ME an attitude?!" Unbelievable. In a follow up call, he tells me how good of a person she is and that this is shocking for him to hear but that she doesn't seem like someone who would do something like this...that she's getting her teacher credentials and he knows her really well. I am getting the vibe he doesn't actually believe any of this and he sounds very skeptical. I respond by telling him that it's almost always surprising when people exhibit bad behavior and that even teachers do bad things...that doesn't make her any more credible in my eyes. He acknowledged that. In fact, it's worse because I would be really concerned to have someone like that teaching a kid. Lack of empathy, accountability, and integrity. I mean, I think it's great he's trying to have her back but there are moments in life when you need to draw a line and act swiftly...these are one of those moments. Because ultimately, this impacts the reputation of your camp. I told him that it would be good to offer training to his staff in case this ever happens again in the future and honestly he sounded baffled and asked me to clarify...I said well maybe tell your staff not to give dirty looks to a mom who's clearly upset that her son just got pushed by a grown adult at summer camp?? I told him that the response to this situation could've resulted in a totally different outcome. Had she said something like "I really don't recall pushing you but if I inadvertently did and made you feel bad I'm sorry - I didn't mean to do that" - I would've went home that morning feeling fine about the situation. When I told him this he said that he's not going to police all her reactions, that she's still young, that she's still learning and made all kinds of excuses for her. Exhausting. Apparently she got a "warning" and will sit out of the flag activity (umm, ok...). He seems like a smart guy and wish him nothing but success in the future and I was earnestly trying to offer advice for how to handle a situation like this better but it fell on deaf ears. I really hope that some kind of learning comes out of this for both of them. Oh and to top it off, my son's friend told her mom that Carson was giving her looks several times throughout the day today and when she asked what kind she said "side eye" looks. NOT COOL. My son also said she was kind of mean to him but wondering why they were even in close proximity when Michael said they'd absolutely be separated and would not see each other? Validates we both made the right choice by pulling them both out. He offered a refund but I'm still pissed about the situation.

They have extracurricular classes such as Chinese and Spanish as well as offering art and computer coding classes. Tutoring is also available for an additional fee. The center is small, but I have found the teachers and staff to be genuinely kind and caring towards my son. He has had no complaints about them. The teachers deal with behavioral problems such as bullying quickly and with parental involvement. Students are helped with their school work and are taught additional lessons as well. There have been some memorable kid activities such as cooking, putting on a play, and making a camping scene. They offer spring break, winter break, and summer programs. I think my son's favorites of these are the weeks of legos and computer animation they offer. We have enjoyed our years at Learning Nexus and will be saddened when we out grow their services.

We were afraid we couldn't overcome such a terrible experience that gave us nightmares or we couldn't even sleep just thinking about our child's entire experience and how can a daycare run with advertised as "high quality/STEM," but no integrity and moral values....We absolutely could not continue our child's daycare program there anymore. We continued our search again for another daycare and big thank you to San Gabriel Kids Klub and staff for being there for us since the very first day we took our tour. What we saw was night and day, compared to the previous daycare and were stunned that we didn't find this hidden gem daycare earlier. My wife and I kept saying "what a blessing in disguise" that we found this place after such a horrible experience at the other daycare. What we saw on our tour: - front desk greeted every single family/childs name. - children are all so happy - the teachers knew all students names, even if the student was not in their classroom. - all students were engaged in activities (not a single kid by themselves or a group of 2-3 by theirselves). - the teacher/student ratio was fair. - All the teachers engaged and were attentive to all the students. - My wife loves the scheduled program and Curriculum based for developmental skills for each age. - Staff is extremely caring - Diverse and Cultured - Private kitchen for entire school/cafeteria - Children's Restroom are separate from classroom - All students knows each other from all ages - Tons of different activities for kids - Easy to talk to and welcomes you with open arms - Respectful where rules around - campus is strict but fair to understand We love how all teachers work together and care for each students personality. They all take their time with the students and consider the parents, along with understanding how important it is to teach culture to all ethnicities. This showed me how special it is to be a part of Kids Klub. Also, they have 3 locations and have night and weekend programs as well. We love the flexibility Kids Klub offers, from different schedule of programs, to night/weekend care, to seeing Summer CAMP, to picking up older students for after-school care program. It's been over a year here at Kids Klub and our 3year old has shown so much confidence, knowledge, skills, discipline, speech (talks so much ), learned how to control emotions, the list goes on. This review is for aftercare and Summer camp…read more Kids Klub has been such a special place for our family these past few years! We are so sad to be moving away from the area, and we hope to be lucky enough find a camp and aftercare that is just as wonderful. I cannot say enough about the the staff as well as the other families who attend- it feels like a little family. My two children love going and easily scamper off at drop-off and don't want to leave when it's pickup. The staff is loving, patient, kind, and have great communication, and the activities are engaging and fun. The hours of the camp are dream come true for working parents (7:30- 6 pm), and even when I get off a little early, my kids beg to stay til close to closing. The field trips are also great. The freshly prepared food is also kid-friendly but nutritious, and my kids enjoyed the breakfast, lunch, and snacks included with the camp, and it made it easier getting out of the door in the morning. We are grateful that our children were cared for with such loving care, and as they like to say at the camp, "Kids Klub rocks!" Thank you for everything Kids Klub SGR!

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!…read more My husband and I dreamed of a wedding where everyone could stay together onsite, immersed in nature, with no worries about driving after a night of fun, and Camp Osito Rancho made that dream a reality. Our families stayed in the health center, lodge, and electrified cabins, while our friends embraced the adventure of summer cabins and tents. The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival. If you're up for planning the details, this venue is the ultimate blank canvas. Last but not least, the Camp Osito Rancho team is absolutely amazing. A huge thanks to Angel for her help throughout the year, Ryan for his help throughout the weekend, and to Gerardo for the tour that sold us from the start. We toured other places around the area but as soon as we met Ms Arlene in the infant room, we instantly had that feeling that our child would be in good hands. We just felt something special about her. So with the combination of Mrs Flo running the facility and Ms Arlene as his caregiver, we immediately enrolled our son. Of course the first week was rough for our son because it was a new place with new faces, but Ms Arlene always made him feel loved and attended to him when she could. Soon after, he stopped crying because Ms Arlene automatically gave him affection. She was just absolutely comforting and nurturing to our son throughout our whole experience! The reason I am giving 2 stars is only because of her and Mrs Flo. Otherwise, I would give this place a lower rating. The rest of the staff here lack empathy, professionalism, and compassion. I am unsure if they are maybe racist because I saw them treat other children better than they did with my son and our family. Most, if not all the time, when we would drop off and pick up our son, the staff would not acknowledge him or us. Sometimes they would look at us and frown then just look away. (keep in mind, this is NOT about Ms Arlene or Mrs Flo- they were always respectful and acknowledged us). At times that they do acknowledge us, they seem annoyed to see us. We have never done anything to them that would make them treat us that way. In fact, on our son's first day, we brought the teachers gift bags with snacks and treats. As this went on, we did not let it get to us because we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they're busy, or overwhelmed with caring for all the kids, or maybe they were going through something in their personal lives, maybe they don't mean to come off as rude, etc. But one day we had had enough,my son was in the middle of transitioning rooms so they bring him to the toddler room in the afternoon. When I looked through the window of the room, I didn't see him right away. So I went back to his usual room. The teacher there told me he was in the toddler room and I said I didn't see him. She sounded so annoyed that I even went in there. So I went back to the toddler room. Again, through the window I didn't see him. I entered the room and behind the changing table/area behind a wall, I saw him crying. He looked like he was crying for a while. Eyes were puffy, nose was all snotty and his cheeks were wet. Mind you, I checked the room through the window when I got there, walked to the other room, walked back to his room and still didn't see him. How long was my son standing there crying? And no one attended to him or comforted him. There were 3 teachers in that room. One teacher was busy at a table with kids. Another was standing by this table just observing. And the third teacher was near my son but just sitting on the floor watching 2 other kids. She was not playing with them, she was just watching them. And when I came in saw him crying,NOT ONE person acknowledged me. No one said a word to me on why he was crying, how long he was crying or even tried to explain anything on what occurred before. They all just ignored a crying baby and mother. They did not care he was crying nor did they care to explain to me what happened or cared that I found him alone, unattended to, crying and no one comforting him, I spoke to the director when I walked out of the door (not Mrs Flo anymore) and asked how to withdraw my son's enrollment. after that incident, we never went back. We continued to pay for our tuition for 2 weeks to follow their withdrawal policy but our son never came back. We left all his belongings there and never looked back. The day after, the director called me and after reviewing the video, they did recognize that there were more than enough teachers that could've attended to him. The teacher called me to apologize as well. But after all of what had happened we could not go back. Although this happened several months ago and I am barely writing a review now, I wanted to ensure others were aware of people's experiences. I didn't want to write a review because I would feel bad for the facility but if you have other places to consider, do yourself a favor and do that. It is not the franchise Kiddie Academy, it is just this location we have issues with. We now have enrolled our son to a different location and O M G, we absolutely love it. Each and every staff greet you as soon as you walk in the front door with kindness and respect. You are never ignored and our son loves it there. The trail was nice, shady and everyone riding their bikes on the trail were very friendly and would wait for you to pass. We rode Moonshine and Dude and they were both great. The horses know the way and follow your guide, so it's great for beginners. There's also parking in site, and our guide took photos for us while we were on the trail. We're definitely going to return. :)

The horses themselves were awesome. calm and steady, with just the right amount of playful sass to keep it interesting. We left smiling and already talking about coming back.
