They deliver! They also have a great staff. Speedy delivery but they sometimes forget things. Still highly recommended.

We finally tried SALA Thai after hearing good reviews from locals - but the restaurant is in…read moreLakeville so I'm skeptical of any rave reviews for Thai south of the river. The reviews are valid! It is a tiny place in a strip mall (by Cub and Little Caesars) so ambience is not why you come here. The menu had many authentic Thai dishes, including papaya salad, tom kha gai soup, tom yum soup, and lots of curries and noodle dishes along with favorite Thai starters like spring rolls, egg rolls, chicken satay and gyoza. I went with a coconut curry dish, like a Tom Kha Gai with noodles, and husband got the Pad Thai. Service was fast and the spice level was great. We both ordered medium which was a true medium heat. Non spice fans will want to go with mild. My dish came with a side of pickled papaya - bonus!! I am looking forward to trying more dishes! Again note that it is in a strip mall so take out would probably be a great option. They do not have a liquor license but I will be back for the food.

The space itself is quaint, and minimally decorated with some generic artwork and tables. It's pretty obvious that this spot is primarily for takeout, but we had great service eating in. We ordered the special egg rolls and fried dumplings! Both were served incredibly hot, which was great, except we had to be a bit patient before diving in. I had the Panang Curry, which was fresh, had a medium heat to it, and included a great serving of chicken and veggies. I wish it was a bit thicker, but that's mostly a personal preference. We will definitely keep this spot on our list for future takeout opportunities!

There are many good options (the Santorini, the Caprese). A little pricey, but the consistency is there, there are many locations, and they are fast. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to sit and eat at during rush times, unless you want people standing all around you. I do miss the larger size salads- (I think they went to one size recently?)

Decided to give it a try since I had never been and the line seemed to be moving fairly quickly. Has an assembly line ordering and payment system as is the case with many establishments of this type. The lady was knowledgeable and helped me decide on what to order. I decided to go with a wrap. It was a fairly painless process of picking what I wanted in there and then she mixed it up and put in a wrap for me. Quick service. The price wasn't terrible for lunch downtown, it feels you can barely get anything for under $15 anymore. The wrap was tasty. Fresh ingredients and well balanced. It was spicier than I was expecting but nothing outrageous. There is some seats in the place to sit and eat and open areas. Though most people were grabbing and going. I can see why there is always a long line and I would definitely trying it again when I want a light and refreshing lunch.
