The costs were very good, compared to the other estimates I received, and they kept me informed with clear info on what to expect and when the installation would happen. The workers on the day were polite, and they worked efficiently to complete the project on time. If I have any negative feedback it's that I could have gotten a discount if I understood how to pay online rather than with my credit card; but as I don't know how to do that; I can't get that 2% off. I needed to replace a 21 foot fence that was falling down. A friend of mine told me about Ergeon. I had a couple of bids already but thought I'd give them a call for one last bid before I awarded the job. I called Ergeon, they asked if I could use my phone's camera to look at the space and existing fence, so we had a zoom type of call. I had their bid within a couple of hours for 2 types of wood and 1 vinyl option. I must say their bid was a less than the others I had, so I choose the fence type and a couple days later a project manager came out to verify everything and away we went! The installation was earlier than projected, the guys did a great job, were very respectful , professional and fun to work with. I'd recommend pros like this to everyone! Overall, excellent company. Got a quote by having a video call, loved to see the 3D scales. My fence was finished in a single day, the installers arrived at 9 am and worked until 4 pm. I would've given five stars, but I was reschedule twice. First time, the pre-installation visit was supposed to arrive from 11-1pm, 20 minutes before 1pm I got a text saying they were not going to make it, keeping in mind that I had taken time off from work. I received a quick call back but there are several factors that completely turned me away from this business. While on the first phone call, I was asked to explain my properties layout. The employee was using Google Earth or something similar to view my property. Ok it had been raining and was bitter cold outside so I figured why not. I was then asked to set a date and time for a walk thru of my project. This was to be done via a video call. Who does this ?? Covid is no longer an issue. Whatever happened to meeting face to face? I even downloaded a special app for this second " meeting". In the meantime my nephew came over and I told him about this. He will be doing my fence. I reached out to Ergeon about my fence that was leaning. Normally I expect services to tell me they are booked for weeks until a tech could come out and give an estimate. Not the case here, I was contacted by Silvio pretty quickly and he was able to do a Google meets video call to take a look. With that he was able to give me a very detailed estimate and what all would be involved with the job. I really liked what service I have received so far. I haven't hired them to complete the job yet due to negotiation with my neighbor, but I would recommend their process. If they are hired and complete the job I will update the review. read more
