Saw Dr Poole for possible Sjogren's. He was not helpful. Told me to continue seeing my cornea…read moresurgeon since my eyes were my primary issue. He said I didn't need a biopsy of the salivary gland as the treatment would be the same whether or not I had the disease. He offered me medication for dry mouth but said it would not help my eyes. When I tried to explain the many other subtle symptoms that accompany Sjogren's and told him that my cornea surgeon said he had only seen cases like mine in Sjogren's patients he dismissed the comment. He truly seemed disinterested. Maybe he knew Medicare discounts his fee considerably and thus was just not into delving any deeper into my case. Lab work that I had done prior to the visit was forwarded to him and yet he seemed unable to access it on his laptop. He wanted me to come back next year to "monitor" the situation. NO WAY! Patient care has gone to the wayside. We're an account-not a patient-not a suffering human being. God help us all!

They were kind, thoughtful and effective. They placed a very heavy emphasis on safety. If I ever have to do more physical therapy at a rehab facility, this is the only place I would want to go.

I was told to bring in all x ray and Dr's notes. I did supply them all. A month later I received a call saying they did not have the x rays of my knee prior to the surgery. I went through the trouble of getting them and again driving to the clinic to deliver them. I waited another two weeks and heard nothing. I called in and asked for the status at which time I was informed that they did in fact have the x rays of my knee prior to the surgery they requested. So, getting and delivering them again was a waste of my time. I was told that they would look into the status and call me back shortly. Never got that call so I called the next day. After 10 minutes on hold, i was told they had everything they needed and could now make an appointment, which they did. Five minutes later, I got a call from them and was told that Dr Dion was pushing back on the appointment, because he wanted me to go back to the original Dr and have labs and x rays done again. I couldn't believe he was requesting i do that. Thats what ii thought they would do as part of a 2nd opinion. So, a month and a half and i got nothing. When i said i would come into pick up my x ray disc's and all the paperwork I provided, she asked what records? Really how can a medical facility act like this. I just now received a call from Concord Orthopedics regarding my records and CD's. They told me I could pick up my records, but they destroyed the 3 CD's with all the x-rays. When I asked why , I was told they auto destroyed when uploaded. When I questioned that as I told her I did upload one of the discs to my own laptop and the disc was still good, she changed the story and said that after they are uploaded, they destroy them per the law, unless I tell them not to. I DID TELL THEM I WANTED THEM BACK!!!, when I dropped them off and I was told that I would receive them when I came in for my appointment. I also know there is no such law as I had another Dr. look at the same x rays and I got them back with no issue. There are too many good Dr's and Clinics that can be used rather than use this outfit.

Due to traffic concerns, we left home in excess of time to travel from central NH to Boston. Consequently, we found ourselves there 3 hrs early! We anticipated a long wait. Didn't happen. He made accommodation to see me shortly after we arrived! He wasn't feeling well today, but saw me anyway. I hope he is better soon. He explained to me why he couldn't do the surgery per my requested time frame and I agreed it's better to wait than likely become "broccoli" (CVA #3 high potential and my words not his). We compromised on a waiting period and he will do the (R) TKR in March, 2026. All of my questions were answered very well and I left feeling heard and understood. 5 stars ABSOLUTELY!

Just completed something like 5 months of PT following surgery to reattach my quadricep tendon... I…read moreworked primarily with Adam and he was excellent, he knows his stuff and has a great "bedside manner" as well. I also spent 2 or 3 sessions with other PTs (Cheryl & Jim) when Adam was out and they were also great to work with. The facility itself is clean and modern. I've used others in the past but Bay State is the one I would choose if and when I decide to tear my other tendons from their respective bones.
